>ME LIEK STAH WAHS

What do you like then?

>sequel fans
I didn't know such people exist

They're called Disney Employees.

>MARBLE MOOBIES R GINO

Jenny a cute! A CUTE!!!
#plsbuyfinnandrosemerch

I don't get it

If anything living through the prequels helped me deal with being made fun of a lot.

>saving wojaks on your phone in 2018
I hate capeshit as well but you're the real loser here

A bald assertion isn't an argument. I've already refuted your representation based arguments. Give me something else.

>phone

>DWIGGERD

yeah let's just pretend prequel fans don't get really butthurt when you start saying things like "'from my point of view the jedi are evil' is actually bad dialogue and not hokey 1950's camp like george says he was making"

bretty accurate tb.h although I partially like them for meme reasons, world building/lore are fun though, got a lot of good video games out of them so I can look past the more retarded parts

Still not an argument.

literally worse than the guy who posts that baseball faggot

>prequels haters sperg over a space dinner but don't even flinch at a space bar or casino
prequel bros are never this autistic

I think that's because the majority of TLJ fans are women who don't like Star Wars and the emasculated men who dream of fucking those women.

Not a very emotionally healthy bunch.

making fun of the prequels is like beating the biggest dead horse in sci fan. Any fans lost their minds from criticism ages ago.

Special edition

I've asked in a few threads but haven't gotten a response -- What's the best Porg merchandise to use as a masturbatory tool? I basically want to stick my penis inside of something while looking at a Porg

>making fun of something that's over a decade old that everyone has seen and absorbed already
>making fun of something currently in production
It's almost as if there's a difference.

accurate

The difference is that people today are massive faggots, while people in 1999 were completely based.

But it, er, was

You're just never gonna give up, are you?

>prequel fans

????????

The only one that looks really out of place is the guy in the far left. You can cut him out and the rest of the picture could work pretty well for 2017.

Is this the fetal alcohol girl?

>bald assertion
>bald
OH NO NO NO NO
LOOK AT THIS DOOOOD

Prequel kids are always triggered though. They cry about RLM every thread.

What? Every time I mock the prequels I have to spend thread after thread explaining to a horde of manchildren why they suck.

>from my point of view
That line originated in the original trilogy, dumb-ass

Not only that but the casino was filled with the most boring alien designs in history. Why do the aliens in the ST look like boring costume designs? I miss the straight up weird aliens Lucas had in mind. He was only restricted to rubber masks in the OT because super tech didnt exist.

dumb oh no no no poster

>bad dialogue and not hokey 1950's camp like george says he was making"
Mark Hamill, Alec, Ford and Fisher detested the dialogue in the OT because it was chessy and unbearable. Alec straight up called the ANH script rubbish and inane. Especially his lines.

The only reason ESB has some okay lines is because Carrie and Ford modified the script.

That is entirely on the director.

The designers wanted OT/PT aliens.

...

I love most things about the Casino. But not the Asian character and not the weapons and slavery stiff.

>weapons and slavery stiff.
Yea, this threw me off. SW was about good vs evil not shady weapons dealers. It almost felt like they were talking about our world

>girl
agahahaha

>space dinner
Designed with a style strongly reminiscent of a specific and distinct decade of American culture, strongly clashing with the established setting
>space bar
Is a seedy, sandy bar packed with weird aliens on an alien sand planet
>space casino
I don't recall this being in the OT

even prequel fans know they are shit films, but enjoyable. sequel fans want their movies to be taken as serious art in storytelling

This is why the movie is failing to connect with so many. It's not a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away anymore, which has always been one of Star Wars' best qualities. TLJ is too close to home, and it's not subtle about it.

they killed off her hot sister too

fuckers

There are prequel fans?

OP is pretty accurate and as a tree-hugging oldskool hippie liberal, I am not above mentioning that the sequel crybaby bullshit definitely reeks of social justice gone awry. Female MC and a black stormtrooper are cool, but rein it in some, guys. Also mandatory mention that no daddy's money Berkeley protester will ever buy a Star Wars ticket.

yes, I am one

her inner the thigh

U mad

As am I

Whoa, alright. What sort of things do you like about them?

Yeah but really? When you're not being paid? It isn't possible to actually like those """movies""" is it?

Make a thread over on /trash/ and ask them. There used to be some threads about fucking plush toys.

What if you like both? Star Wars fans?

>Right about here everybody notices there are no sequel fans because when your movie is nothing but neofeminist porgpaganda you're not a fan you're a political activist

everthing, i wouldn't change a thing

I love them

the only star wars movie I ever saw was rogue one. I thought it was okay but it didn't feel as large scale as I thought it would be.

Well, besides nostalgia (I was a kid/teenager when they were released), I like the action. I thought the battle-droids and super battle-droids were badass. I liked the clones and the armor. I also liked the backstory of what the world was like before the Empire. I really like the lightsaber duels. I also love the sound effects in the prequels.
I know the acting is bad, the dialogue is clunky, I and II are mostly boring and have a few good noteworthy scenes, and the character backstories are pointless. But I really enjoy them. I seriously think III is the best.
III > V > IV > II > I > VI > Nu-Wars

Someone threatened Mike Stoklasa for making the review of TPM.

It's a shame the movie's e-politics is drawing so much fire, because there are far bigger problems with it imo.

Me neither user

Well Yoda's E.T. homage in RotS is a bit shit. As is the spinning lightsabers scene. And Yoda/Chewie being buddies is fucked up.

But other than that, they're awesome

FPBP

They combine into a vast, almost Wagnerian epic. There's high drama, treachery, cunning schemes, roaring battles, the dialogue is so intensely overworked and expressive, like a painting made of words. It's visually incredible, while the CGI might be very much a product of its time the visual design is impeccable. The story feels self-consistent and relevant to itself, everything that happens in each movie happens for a reason. One of my main criticisms of the sequels is that the story doesn't seem to have a point, it's just rambling on and none of the character arcs serve any purpose and nobody's trying to do anything, does anyone even have a plan any more? IX is going to have a really hard time feeling climactic because there's so little to be the climax of.

The primary flaws of the PT are as follows:

1) It falls victim to its own ambition, Lucas had so much story to cram in that by the time he'd done I and II he just had too much left over to put in III, which is why there's a substantial timeskip and it still feels rushed.

2) Lucas is a 70s/80s filmmaker, that's when he cut his teeth, and it shows. Dexter Jettster wouldn't have been out of place in 1982 but audiences weren't built for him in the early 00s

3) Hayden Christiansen is a terrible, godawful actor

...

wheres the chart that classifies the three different trilogies? Where the originals are reddit tier, sequels are goybucks shill tier, and the prequels are masterpieces that require a background in shakespearian literature to understand

ot babbies on suicide watch

Somewhat ironically this. This is nutty but if there is a better timeline for Earth wherein the prequels were remade in say 2020, they could have been fine-tuned into the greatest pop culture movies of all time.

>mfw someone shits on the prequels but praises Marvel movies

>No Hero With A Thousand Faces
>No Gibbon's Decline And Fall Of The Roman Empire
>No Spengler's Decline Of The West
>No Hitler and Stalin: Parallel Lives
>No Chretien DeTroyes Arthurian Tales In Provencal

I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

I love I and III, I want to give II another chance sometime later, but as it is currently, I hate it.

All alien women should be breed by humans desu

The prequels were about space taxes and evil vs incompetent retard monks though

>It almost felt like they were talking about our world
Maybe they figured it's about time to start talking about our world

>Dexter Jettster wouldn't have been out of place in 1982
I disagree with this. Nothing in the OT feels that much like a product of its time outside of certain techs having a bit too many buttons.

Were you too underage to see the blatant anti-Bush propaganda in Episode III?

Reminder Anakin saying "if you're not with me then you're my enemy" is deliberately paraphrasing George Bush

I only slightly ironically like Dexter Jettster

Even female Rodians and Mon Calamari?

Good movies. Not franchise shit sequel #47. Movies that aren't an endless stream of quips and references.

that shit is in the fucking bible

> It happened, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man stood in front of him with his sword drawn in his hand. Joshua went to him, and said to him, "Are you for us, or for our adversaries?"
en.wikisource.org/wiki/Bible_(World_English)/Joshua#Chapter_5

it's older than dirt

I like them, they are good movies.

good movies is not a movie faggot

...

No one asked for a specific title of a movie.

So true

They are not people though.

>It's a shame the movie's e-politics is drawing so much fire, because there are far bigger problems with it imo.
Not him but imho the two go hand in hand because the writers clearly sacrificed good storytelling and other narrative elements to fit in the e-politics. It seems as though to them a diverse cast was more important than an interesting cast, that showing "empowered" (read: mary sue) women was more important than character arcs or even universe consistency.

You can't really attack one without attacking the other. When I shit on the dialogue in the prequels I shit on just that. Personally it feels harder to truly attack the flimsy or nonexistant narrative elements in the Sequel trilogy because they all seem to take a backseat to the writer's clumsy political messaging anyway.

I did just now faggot

Oh you poor innocent thing.
youtube.com/watch?v=3WSJm23niHk
Severe autism warning.

Me too

Except the guy isn't defending the prequels exactly, just pointing out why RLM are idiots and shouldn't be taken seriously.
The response and backlash just proves how much autustic RLMfags are when proven wrong.

I don't owe you anything, pussy. Rest assured that my list of favorite films does not include capeshit, Star Wars, or any other type of franchise flick.

lol

kinofaggots confirmed full of shit

Even better

>tfw like both the prequels and sequels

This is why we only speak to you in brainlet memes.

>anti-Bush propaganda in Episode III

Those claims were Fox-News-tier. No one actually thought that.
