Any hopes or apprehensions about the upcoming 2018/19 Masters of the Universe live action film franchise by Sony and Geof Johns? No director for it yet and little else if anything known about it's integrity or direction though it's been widely stated by several sources that they don't want Skeletor to be the villain of the first film.

>and Geof Johns?
You mean David Goyer, right?

>Leaving out the 2002 MYP animated seseries, the Image and MVC, the modern MOTU comics (Eternity War, He-Man/Thundercats)
This is a really incomplete list.
Jose Martinez
It's all the same shit.
Easton Miller
I was not aware all of those were a part of the Live Action movie continuity.
Gavin Long
There will not be any MOTU movie. The script has been rewriten a dozen times. Before Goyer was Christopher Yost, and after Goyer will be someone else. Sony's rights for the Masters of the Universe's expire in 2019, for this reason they gave a random date at the end of this year. After that, the rights will go back to Universal. And better this way.
Grayson Sullivan
I meant in the general MOTU released stuff list, not for the live action movie.

Still are missing the modern comics from 2012 to 2017, which is the longhest lived MOTU pubblishing run.

I'm posting them by continuity you fucking twit, stop sperging out.
Daniel Gonzalez
Fine. No need to be upset.

Did Man at Arms just slam Skeletor in the groin in this pic?

I don't think I feel like posting the rest thanks to this backseat driver.
Here have some art instead.

You want to see sperging? Call MOTU's setting "ridiculous". Holy shit last MOTU thread some guy just could NOT accept that the characters and setting were goofy.
I hope the new movie stays the fuck in Eternia and keeps an air of whimsy about it, rather than doing a Snyder/Nolan dump on another fun and campy universe.
