Did Capcom make you a believer of thicc asians ninjas?

>tfw a lot of Mahvel oldheads want Gambit back but he's less than relevant now

They made him too cool.

BREAK UP YOUR GARAGE

Was Psylocke's skin yellow like that in the comics?

very much so

OPTIC BLAST

I'm a fan of the poses he strikes whenever he shoots punch beams.

He used to be the second most popular X-Man after Wolverine. What happened?

never really appreciated how flamboyant he holds his hands in the start up

X-MEN Origins.

...

What are his chances for Mahvel Infinite with the recent news?
I'd say pretty high

Spoil sport

We will never get a Gambit, Ghostrider, Venom, and Wolverine movie.

>I found out where that line came from the Venom Retrospective

thanks Sup Forums

>He used to be the second most popular X-Man after Wolverine. What happened?

The 90s ended.

I WANNA THICC FUH RUH RAH

Capcom is the only reason anybody cares about Shuma.

I will be greatly saddened if he doesn't show up in MvCI somewhere.

But Wolverine is 90's as fuck.

I always loved Magneto's neutral stance in that game.

He never got his "Now it's MY turn!" moment like Wolverine. Instead, he ended up getting defined by his tedious Ross & Rachel thing with Rogue which nearly ruined both characters. Nowadays he's kinda fallen into playing enforcer to Rogue or Storm or even Xavier whenever they're the leader or focus character.

I still like Gambit. I like his powers, I like his personality. I like how he's a window into one of the quirkier corners of the Marvel U in the Thieves and Assassins Guilds. I also his development as an X-Man. He's goes from career criminal to true believer, yet he never really fully integrates into the team. He never really stops being an outsider among Xavier's disciples. Storm and Rogue being the only ones he has any consistent rapport with.

There was a lot of attention to detail in those games, better days for Marvel though I'm sure some would argue differently

Why is he missing the spider on his chest?

Because the spider's on your chest.

He moves it from his chest to form a shield. You can see the spider in the first couple of frames.

I haven't gotten around to reading 90s X-Men yet. Is Omega Red a cool character?

Are you into depraved, murderous, psycho Soviet super soldiers?

Not really. He just has a very memorable design.

Also, he's been dead since 2006 and only shown up once (in Hell) in the years that followed.

>ranged throws
Red was so overpowered

Capcom sure used to have god-tier spritework

Well, at least he looks cool.

He's got a movie coming out soon. Hopefully that'll boost his popularity again

Capcom fighters at the time just looked amazing. Third Strike is still prob the most beautiful 2d fighting game out there.

The game's still gonna be MCU focused over Mutants and he wasn't even in 3.

Don't get too excited

>his tedious Ross & Rachel thing with Rogue
yeah, really bad stuff
>Is Omega Red a cool character?
I always wanted to Omega Red showed up in one of the X-men/Wolverine movies

Everyone talks about Chun-Li's thighs but goddamn Elena's legs are where it's at. Holy shit they go on for miles/

Goddamn they've got their own gravity.

Head makes it weird

He never did anything new. He missed out on the X-men's period of growth and instead was around for the period of stagnation. Given the state of the X-men the odds of any character getting real growth are low, let alone a character that many writers think of as a joke

HA HA HA!

I don't think anyone really cares about Gambit anymore. Fox is really dragging their feet with the movie, it's not going to happen.

Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man, War Machine and Cap all had amazing VAs. They are what the characters sound like in my head when I used to read comics.

Well, the 90's cartoon Spider-Man was GOAT.

What if they monkey paw us?

I would live with an Deadpool/Gambit movie.

rotoscoped animation+flat, planted head

CARBONADIUM SMASHER

Red also had awesome music; youtube.com/watch?v=WW7H7i9xsGk

Still better than a lot of the alternatives.

Well, there is a comic, in case you missed it:

No, but it gave me a thing for luscious hand movements and bouncing tits

>He's got a movie coming out soon
They've been saying that for years, though.

That was terrible.

Spiral is so cool. How do comic book writers not put her in everything to the point that complaints about oversaturation occur?

Wolverine is timless

>take a ride on the meat wagon
w-what did he mean by this

But he also has big blades on his fists, that's really popular with the kids.

Gambit is especially 90s, Wolverine lended himself to the 90s well because he's mean and kills people, but everything about Gambit is 90s, from his fingerless gloves to his faceless mask to his grunge guy hair to his trenchcoat to his needless metal legs to his bright pink torso and usage of "street guy" weapons like playing cards and leftover from the 80s ninja craze bow staff

When she gets time out KO she shows her ass.

Wouldn't be surprised

We got Snyder off DC but not the way we wanted

I would argue that makes him more versatile if done right, he can be played straight and people would be taken by the pure embrace of camp or poked fun at with varying degrees.

He's lame but also cool in a way that people would find themselves somewhat ashamed for likeing.

To this day most casuals my age(late 20s) cite Gambit as their favorite X character, he truly was a product of the times

That being said, it's not just Gambit who's gotten the shaft these days, it's X-Men as a whole and we all know why that is
