Now imagine you are the creator of a massively popular groundbreaking videogame. And the founder of the company. Despite being a genius you are socially awkward and have a hard time connecting and socializing with people. The people who work in your company do not respect you and talk badly about you behind your back. Now a new attractive woman has started to work at the company and is the only person who admires and looks up to you. Normally, us as the audience would root for this character to overcome his social awkwardness and win the girl. However this is completely subverted and this character is in fact the villain. And we must root for the crew who is comprised of the very people who despise and detest this tragic character.

I actually liked the fact that the nerd was a psycho himself. A good deconstruction of the character type. Just like in anime, we have seen enough socially akward heroes.
Henry Fisher
you are right. eventually the woman who took over Hollywood will be forced to come to terms with their hypocrisy as the men did. Right now their beliefs are still in theit infancy.

I thought she was being awfully nice considering that a retard was drooling over her.
Aaron Gray
she is just as bad as he is...
Noah Morris
To be fair I wouldn't want to go on a date with a pornstar and I don't consider myself a social retard.
Hudson Peterson
No one is obligated to like you. Your social awkwardness is your own problem and you should seek help if you want to change it.
Adam Reyes
Except the people in the simulation were completely separate - and better - people than their real selves. The boss guy was a total dickhead yet his struggles (e.g. watching his son get airlocked) made him noble enough to make a heroic sacrifice at the end. I found the simulated people relatable, their real selves a bit dickish and one-note, and Daly himself a fucking psycho. As I was meant to.
Wyatt Perez
If Daly could have brought his sociopathic behavior into the real world he would have been a titan of industry.
Adam Davis
You reckon he'd let you sit at his table and talk to him if you asked nicely?
Bentley Ramirez
They don’t respect him and talk behind his back because he’s creepy. Then the episode justified their behavior toward him by showing that he takes peoples DNA and replicated them. Which again, is creepy as fuck.
Isaac Wood
Just because you're socially awkward it doesn't mean you're a good person and people are obligated to like you. It's pretty clear the AIs he makes are sentient yet he still tortures them.
Joseph Reed
>why has noone asked me for a picture or autograph yet?
Asher Robinson
Why would you torture a non sentient one?
Cameron Hall
>a real person should die for being an asshole to some 1s and 0s in a video game Everyone who has ever tortured their Sims should die too right?
