I fucking wish. Is there any Legends material that covers this? I don't think so, but I'm curious.
Aiden Mitchell
>still no fixed links
come the fuck on. this was funny the first couple times but now it's just ridiculous
Asher Moore
Venators are the best
Noah Myers
Nope. There's one book that sort of touches on that but it's part of several stories and it focuses more on how each master-apprentice generation from Yoda/Dooku to Obi-Wan/Anakin deals with the bullshit of one guy.
Aaron Gomez
Gotcha. I assume there's hardly any material on Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan? I only remember brief comments by Obi-Wan here and there, saying how they went on a ton of adventures, with Qui-Gon being very knowledgeable in many different species and cultures.
Andrew Sullivan
>Is there any Legends material that covers this? no because nobody gives a shit about it
Kayden Price
Still 11:55pm where I am so, Happy Birthday Christopher Lee.
Jonathan Reyes
Look at pic related. Notice that the Bridge is actually rounded at the front.
Chase Turner
Now compare that to this (It's a 3d model ripped from one of the ROTS-based games, probably Battlefront II). The difference is pretty obvious here, but you don't really see the conning towers up close very much, it took me a while to find the shot in my previous post.
Camden Rodriguez
There's an entire young adult book series about Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon.
Josiah Carter
Get your fanfiction the fuck out of here, faggot. I'm just kidding, my man those books were this shit and you have good taste
Joseph Jenkins
Shit now I'm trying to envision an Imperial I in Clone Wars era Republic colors.
Oliver Jackson
From the inside, the bridges are rounded in both the movie and show. They probably couldn't change the Venator model to match the filmed set in time.
Parker Adams

Can anyone else not get the books MEGA link to load or is it just me?
Luke Collins
Yeah, I mentioned in the last thread that that's the reason I liked the Show's Venators more, because they ended up being more accurate to their exterior.
Also, the Imperial-Class SD's had bridge interiors like that in the OT, so I don't think that it was a time constraint that caused the inaccuracy.

Carter Wright
Help the poor man up due to how far he just fell in order to reach it.
Camden Garcia
It wasn't so much as them wearing robes as it was them wearing the robes of what most assumed were paupers.
Liam Davis
>It wasn't so much as them wearing robes as it was them wearing the robes of what most assumed were paupers. No, it's always the fact that they've worn robes.
But even going by what you said, that's wrong. The robes the Jedi wear are clearly more "formal" and are not worn out and patched up.
Levi Moore
Really? I always see the argument that in the OT they thought it was just farm/peasant clothes due to where they lived, and then the PT happened and just about everyone was wearing them. Which really made some people bitch while others tried to justify it as an oath of poverty.
Lucas Fisher
...
Jack King
I think the going explanation is that Jedi tended to wear simple robes out of a sense of humility, and they tended to look more or less like what any random peasant on any random world might wear.
Either way, the notion that the PT suddenly made Obi-Wan's outfit a Jedi uniform is stupid.
Camden Jenkins
I've only seen the argument be that they wear robes. More specifically, shit like "Why do the jedi dress like Tatooine farmers?"
>why_do_jedi_in_the_prequels_dress_like_tatooine/ I hate this
I hate it so much
It completely ignores Anakin and Yoda in the OT, and it completely ignores all the PT Jedi that were like RotJ-Luke and didn't wear robes similar to desert farmers.
I 100% blame RLM for this shit. And before anybody starts, no I am not saying RLM is to blame for prequel hate. But this shit is a perfect example of misinformation and misconception spread by RLM that is completely fucking bullshit and hypocritical, another meaningless jab at Lucas/PT.
Christian Jones
So is that Sebulba?
As I kid I always thought the dug in AotC was an older Sebulba, and this dug looks like it could be both of them.

Evan Jenkins
Is there a mega for the Clone Wars story reels?
Julian Morris
...
Jose Price
They are all free on starwars.com, go have a look there I'm partially convinced that RLM are actually playing some kind of long game contrarian troll with their Star Wars reviews. Their opinions on the PT run counter to how a lot of people seem to feel about them, and the fact they unabashedly love TFA AND shit on Rogue One just makes me think they're being 'controversial' for the views
Lincoln Hill
Nah, I don't believe there is some ulterior motive at play here If you really believe that, in relation to the currect rejuvenation of interest in the prequels and the response to the new movies, they are contrarian for contrarianism's sake, then you fell in the same trap they did with the prequel reviews, ie: my view of the SW franchise is objectively correct and everyone else is just trying to bait.
I think they are honest with their views on TFA and RO, even if they may appear to be contradictory and hypocritical from our perspective. I think their first review was very badly articulated and communicated and the later arguments drowned in the white noise of memes (which, honestly, RLM brought on themselves with reducing their points to comedy skits and muddying up their clarifications in needlessly confrontational videos). Because there's a lot of people, both in the fandom and the greater film community, who share them. TFA and RO are two different movies, for two different audiences who expect two different things from their Star Wars movies. Don't let our little echo chamber fool you, there's plenty of people out there who vastly prefer TFA to RO and have valid reasons to do so.
And for the record, before you call me a shill for Abrams, RO is my second favorite SW movie and I agree with much of the common criticism you see aimed at TFA here.
The truth is simply that all of Star Wars is the same farcical shit, only with slight variation in the quality of the execution. You find what appeals to you and then you can give the Plinkett treatment to anything that runs counter to it. I don't really like ANH that much myself. I could easily tear the movie to shreds like RLM tore the PT. It wouldn't change the fact that that movie means a lot to a lot of people.
Hudson Russell
There's truth in what says.
My friend told me he preferred TFA over almost every other Star Wars movie, and that Rogue One was one of the worst.
Couldn't fucking believe what I was hearing. To my knowledge he has never watched RLM shit either, so IDK.
I still maintain that from a purely in-universe argument, the PT and Rogue One hold up perfectly fine as pieces of Star Wars history, whereas TFA shit all over the canvas. If people want to argue about how TFA is "technically a better constructed film" then whatever, I don't care. I am a Star Wars fan, not a movie fan. I want good Star Wars movies, not structurally sound "well made" movies that shit on the movies I love.
Dylan Turner
As I said, I'm only partially convinced, less "i genuinely believe they are trolling" and more "if it came out in the wash that they were being deliberately contrary for one of their 'jokes' I wouldn't be surprised" I suppose the problem is RLM fall into the same pit that people like CinemaSins do, where they and offer legitimate reviews as well as jokes, which just dilutes the review AND the jokes And I can definitely see why some people would prefer TFA over RO, TFA is a lot more fast paced and enjoyable compared to how (relatively) slow and honestly quite dark RO gets at times. But I'd still argue that TFA's greatest problem is that, no matter how "structurally sound" it may be, it just goes way too goddamn fast and never even considers the idea of just letting the new trilogy era sit and breathe, to take a moment and just expand on what's going on in Star Wars at that point
Why can't I access this? It just freaks out and flickers like fuck.
Evan Young
Seriously, this could mean that you just used up too much ram, try opening task manager and seeing how much ram you have left / how much your browser is taking up. Ideally, it should be bellow 2 gigs of ram, afterwards browsers tend to act funny.
Ayden Russell
I forgot to state that if it is over that amount, all you have to do is close and then reopen your browser.
Also, check to make sure that if you are using noscript or a similar extension that you enable mega, and make sure that if you are using greasemonkey or any other extensions which add scripts that none of them would interfere with it. Disable all non essentials to be safe.

How would you feel if the OT was remade using Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor and actors very closely resembling the likes of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fischer and Harrison Ford.
Would you like it to be remade and if yes, what slight tweaks would you make? I'd like to see a better choreography for the Vader / Kenobi fight.
Leo Lee
I would enjoy a re-doing of lines and scenes in the first movie to more accurately match up with later retcons and continuity issues.

You know, I never noticed before just how far away Krennic parked from Galen's house. I mean holy shit that's a hilarious distance. How far into the walk do you think he started regretting landing so far out?
Ryder Barnes
He made himself feel better by talking about how intimidating it was going to look, just you watch, he'll be scared stiff. Then Galen just gave now fucks and tried to lie to Krennic's face, badly at that Krennic doesn't get no respect
Samuel Miller
Man I love how the planets/environments in RO looked. Even if some of them were only featured for 5mins.
Jace Carter
That's such a stupid thing to get buttmad about Course most things people get buttmad about the prequels is stupid
Nolan Miller
How did Yoda know the Rebels had to go to Malachor? And how come Maul and the Inquisitors were headed there at the same time as them?
Cooper Hall
All is as the Force wills it.
Jayden Garcia
That's quite a cop-out of an explanation.
Justin Clark
Holy shit I never noticed how far that was. That has to be like 10 minutes of walking at least, considering the swampy terrain and the incline. Made even more awkward by the fact that Krennic probably insisted on ominous silence on their approach
Juan Nguyen
They actually felt like Star Wars
Yoda obviously sensed a threat, and action needed to be taken.
Also Maul was already there for a while. He was trying to gain access to the Sith Superweapon with the intention of blowing up Coruscant to kill Sheev. The ongoing Maul comic explains that he knew about Malachor because Sheev took him there as a child.
The Inquisitors were hunting Maul, they called him "The Shadow".
Vader was hunting the Jedi.
Robert Smith
And the most important question, did Ahsoka survive? Vader getting out suggests that she didn't, obviously, but then there is this enigmatic shot of her walking away in the end... Literally what did they mean by it?
Thanks for clearing things up.
Michael Myers
>did Ahsoka survive? >Vader getting out suggests that she didn't, obviously, >but then there is this enigmatic shot of her walking away in the end... >Literally what did they mean by it?
We literally don't know. There's tons of clue in the episode and lore that hint about what COULD have happened. (Hint: Mortis)
But we don't know exact details. Filoni has cleared very little up beyond saying that he "doesn't usually" like metaphorical stuff (Is Ahsoka an exception?). He also says that Ahsoka can not become a Force Ghost, so that idea is ruled out.
What we DO know, is that Vader walking away like that, means Anakin is convinced that he has murdered Ahsoka.
I'm personally thinking, based on the clues in the episode and BTS stuff that; Vader did kill Ahsoka, but a Celestial being has reincarnated Ahsoka in some way so that she may continue to be a guardian for innocent people against Vader, so that other people wont share her fate. I believe that she is going to take the form of a wolf, as seen in the recent Rebels trailer, and she is going to be the reason Ezra survives the show.
Brayden Allen
>Ezra survives the show delet
Julian Smith
Goddamnit, they're taking Clone Wars off Netflix soon.
I know I'm late to the party but let me have this
Owen Davis
Wow. Thank you.
I like your theory, but why the wolf, specifically? I've seen the trailer, but I'm not sure I understand why an animal appearing has to have a deeper meaning.
I really doubt they are going to kill off the young protagonist of a Disney show.
But I'm seriously concerned about what are they going to do with him and Kanan. Supposedly there should be no other known Jedi left by the time of A New Hope, and in Rogue One Bail decides to go after Kenobi as kind of their last resort.
Maybe the two will be elsewhere occupied/trapped throughout the entirety RO and ANH. Or they can really kill off Kanan, and Ezra will feel terrible and leave the Rebellion, mirroring Ahsoka's arc in TCW.
What? Why?

Yoda is actually working for the empire.

She's confirmed a woman, not confirmed human Cybernetics are more likely, but her being an alien would explain her disgust at Agent Terex's habit of keeping alien slaves
Tyler Sanders
Will we see jizz featured in The Last Jedi?
David Thompson
He sent the Inquisitors to Malachor after he sent Ezra and Kanan there. And he didn't want Luke to go rescue his friends from Cloud City.
Robert Thompson
>She's confirmed a woman, not confirmed human
Pablo said in Vanity Fair that she was decided to be a human woman in the process of making TLJ
Logan Reed
Depends on what kind of girl Rose is
Adam Mitchell
Or, the First Order is keeping with tradition of "hate aliens, humans only" that the Empire had going and Phasma really buys into it. Notice how Snoke is the only exception in TFA and the Poe comic so far?
Christian Brooks
And he's responsible for the fall of the Republic. And he let Palpatine have his ways in the battle in the Senate.
Isaiah Bell
So cybernetics it is then Or just heavily scarred up, I suppose. Maybe its tied to that "unsuspected past" thing they've talked about?
Oliver Ross
And he's at the very top of the leadership, and unlike Thrawn seems to be suffering no bullshit for his rank Besides, Phasma's objection seemed to be rooted more in "we are BETTER than the Empire, and certainly better than this" rather than "how dare you associate with xenos you filthy heretic?"
