Marvel's heroes for the 2010s

Marvel's heroes for the 2010s.

How do you like them so far?

Gwenpool, Viv (without Waid), Robbie Reyes, and Kamala (when left to her original writer) get a pass

nuQuasar is already dead.

Gwen, Robbie, and Kamala are cool. Miles is kind of okay.

The rest are shit.

Kamala, Silk, Robbie, Gwenpool, and Viv are good. Others can fucking die for all I care.

I don't like any of them.

> Wasp

Indifferent to in general, dislike when Waid is writing

Have absolutely no feelings on whatsoever as long as she stays out of my books.

Adding Hickman's Smasher who I like alot.

I thought America Chavez debuted in 09

I miss Starbrand.

...

It's the ass isn't it?

That helps but he origin was nice, as was her interaction with Cannonball/Sunspot.
Plus she rekt the shit out of Thor, Carol & Hyperion in Avengers World while possessed as Messenger.

Most of there books have been failures
With subpar writing
Lackluster art
Virtually zero editorial oversight
Any of these books will be lucky to make it to there teen issues

>almost everyone if not all are legacy characters

What's up with that?

The last three on the top row and Viv I don't have any notable problems with.
Gwen was better than my low expectations anticipated but not great.
America was around prior to 2010's, does she really count?

The rest, if I never saw a gain I wouldn't have a huge problem.

Her first appearance is listed as 2011 though.

thicc

Then my memory must be fucked. Which is entirely possible.

I guess I'll put her in as, declining. I don't know if it's that fair. She's like the members of Champions. If I based my like of Viv, Kamala or Miles on that then I'd say I hate them or that they were declining as well. But they have appearances in other more recent books or currently running books where they were good. I liked America in YA but that was years ago (2011,really, not earlier?) And Ultimates she barely ever spoke. But this new series, just isn't good. And not just poorly writen but makes the character look bad...like Champions. I have yet to have a problem with Cho until Champions.

Quasar is dead, she don't count

Wow. So soon?

Is it me or did she come off as a bigger dumbass than Wendell or Phyla ever did as rookies?

Fuck Moon Girl. The rest range from fine to don't care

pretty meh on all of them. Kamala, miles, and riri can be really boring at times. America is terrible in her solo.

>no mutants

So how are Inhuman origins more interesting than mutants?

They don't move the needle. Fuck them

Eh.

The only one I actually care about is Robbie only because im a sucker for anything ghost rider

I like kamala, gwenpool, silk, robbie, miles to an extent, hope he gets better and the visions daughter.everyone im indifferent to except moon girl and thats only because of her hairstyle, for some reason it just looks off, just have one bun man

Miles and Kamala will be the only ones recognized by the next generation. The rest are failures.

all good except new Wasp and Kamala
quirky girls need to die

This desu familiams

only ones i like are gwenpool, miles morales, robbie reyes and kamala khan

>Like
>Indifferent too
>Hate

kys

>Nadia
Forgettable. Could be good under the correct writer, currently is not.

>Literally Who

>That one Nick Spencer waifu
She's okay I guess, I wouldn't complain if she had a solo

>Kamala
I kinda dropped her comic after a while but she's not a bad character

>Silk
Great when not under Slott

>Robbie
Never read

>Gwenpool
Honestly one of my favourite Marvel characters right now. Doesn't deserve the shit this board gives her (probably all people who haven't read her)

>Moon Girl
HAH

>Miles
H A H

>Viv
Didn't like Vision because massive Runawaysfag, but I did like her

>Miss America
Not 2010s AFAIK?

>Riri

irrelevant wasp
Strabrand...Fuck yeah!
not wendell quasar
kamala was ok
silk aka another spiderwoman I don`t care who was an interesting setting for peter but never sees him
not johnny or danny ghost rider, not even has a motorbike
memegirl even worst than real deadpool
literally I don`t care about girl
black not peter spiderman
vision girl si great
america since they try to make her a thing is quite annoying
not tony or rodhey is uninteresting

Whatever happened to this guy?

Dan Slott realized that self-inserting a child for Peter wouldn't work because Slott's never raised a kid before in his life.

Why doesn't Marvel care about their good new heroes?

Because the majority of their interesting characters can't be used in the movies without a massive amount of legal snags.

let`s do the same for DC!

black guy
asian girl
muslim guy and latina woman
lesbian woman
latina woman
red dude
crazy bitch and sometimes lesbian
common kid and arab kid
asian boy
fat black woman
latin boy
black gay kid

DONE!

How many of them were created in the 2010s?

6 or 7? Also the thread is about character for the 2010`s not created in the 2010`s.
In marvel they had starbrand who is from the last 80`s or 90`s beginning

>my boy Evan still doesn't have a book

OCs are a far harder sell. Just look at Mosaic.

Old Starbrand was Ken Connel while the new one is Kevin Connor. So technically a new character.

> Wasp, Starbrand, Quasar, Silk
Never red their stuff, no opinion.

>Kamala
Good character. Often plagued with awkward or boring writing, but she herself's a pretty good character.

>Robbie
I really like him, wish we got more of him. I kind of relate to his life and living situation. I also took care of a disabled sibling and struggled financially to do so.

>Gwen
I don't know why, but she's my favorite. Her post-Deadpool character development really helped. Dying for the next issue so we can finally get to see her family life.

>Moon Girl
She's kind of an annoying little bitch. I liked her in America's story because she had no idea what she was talking about, and went into awkward ranting about her life.

>Miles
He certainly is.

>Viv
She seems nice.

>America
Her book is hilarious, and she's part of the reason why. As bad as she is, she still makes me smile.

>Riri
I don't like her hair.

Kamala Gwen and Robbie are my top 3.

Complete and utter trash.

well she is a mom

Cuz if Hummingbird or Mania were on Champions people would hate them.

They're shit!

So, same as last year?

Starbrand and Robbie. The rest can die in a fire.

The THICC answer.

I like the characters from the last decade better.

>Cuz if Hummingbird or Mania were on Champions people would hate them

Why?

They'd be finally woke. The problem with Champions is Waid.

Gotta admit. I'm morbidly curious to what WOKE Hummingbird and Mania would be like.

I can't for the life of me remember the blonde. Name?

They look so generic it hurts. Twelve more spandex-wearing superheroes with indeterminate powers, please spare me.

I like robbie, stretch and viv
Didn't like silks debut issues in spiderverse so i never read her solo

Layla Miller, a Bendis OC improved by PAD.

Yeah I'd believe that but Hummingbird and Mania are both Spider characters who, as shown by Miles, Silk, and Spider-Gwen, Marvel has no problem pushing. So try again.

Sony's being cooperative with Spider-Man. It's Fox-owned characters Ike can't stand.

No one remembers Bendis new class of mutants from uncanny,Goldball is te only one still relevant

I don't know anything about this character, but that's a really cool design.

Also thicc.

Marvel is dead to me. They killed and replaced every character I like aside from Deadpool and they've Flanderized him.

>(probably all people who haven't read her)

people have read her comic and there is just nothing there

no comedy
no action
no direction

but yes a couple of meta jokes ''this is not how things work in these kind of stories!!''

is not creative at all, is a failure

Is this some kind of joke?

Then why the fuck aren't Marvel pushing Hummingbird and Mania?

Because their series' didn't do well, and there are not currently writers who have a personal interest in shoving them down our throats.

Not a single straight white male along them. Finally, equality.

It was a cool concept but slott fucked it up

Guess you forgot Sam Nova. It's ok to forget about him though, he's just a sidekick anyways.

Also yeah, a bunch of crock.

Laura earned her place, Skaar somehow worked out a bit in the end, Cosmo's top tier, Layla was fun in X-Factor. Who's the asian, Cho? Also saved by good writing back then.

Oh yeah, what about Black!Nick Fury and Whor?

Neither are from 2010+

Some are pushed to the front
Some are dead
Some are forgotten
Some have had their characters assasinated

Who deserves to appear more?
Who deserves to be resurrected?
Who deserves a solo?
And who deserves nothing and should be forgotten?

Nigga you crazy? He's from after the first Avengers movie, for synergy. Jane may have existed forever, but wasn't pushed for Thor status until after the retcon shitfest that was original sin.

He means that in the Ultimate Universe, Nick Fury was Samuel L Jackson since 2001

>solo
user, let's be honest here.

>resurrected
Mettle, I suppose... Sup Forums loved the guy and he was killed in a bullshit story.

>Deathlok
Was that a new Deathlok?

>Red Hulk
Before 2010, no?

>Giant Man
wat

I assumed OP was only talking about the reality that counts. I know I was.

>>Deathlok
Henry Hayes
>>Red Hulk
Robert Maverick
>>Giant Man
Raz Malhotra

>Gwenpool gets a pass
>Viv under Waid gets a
Why. Explain it to me.

>Gwenpool
Is a fun book that is mostly carried by its art, but occasionally shows clever usage of comic tropes and pop-culture humor without being unbearable.
>Viv under Waid
Reread the post. Any character under Waid (in Champions at least) is fucking awful.

Wow, I'm really out of the loop.
I'm also glad I am.

General Maverick is awesome.
