Everyone is saying YD, but it has to be someone else. No, the whole YD thing is a red herring. Yellow acted the way she did because she was annoyed by a trial, and then outraged by the accusation. It has to be WD or some unnamed powerful gem. I'd even believe it was Pearl acting on her own before YD at this point, and I really don't think Pearl had anything to do with it.

The thing is though, there are eye-witnesses saying it was Rose quartz. I definitely think there's more to it than "Rose alone shattered her" now, but someone who looked like Rose Quartz called her out of the palanquin and did it. And PD stepped out of the palanquin for this person.

1. Pearl is now confirmed NOT to be PD's Pearl.
We are now 100% certain that PD was shattered sometime after the events of The Answer.
As in, Pearl and Rose were already criminals. As she said, she's been a criminal for "6,000 years".
That means she COULDN'T have been the Pearl that supposedly witnessed/was present at PD's demise
2. Despite all the conspiracy shit, at the very least we know someone who looked like Rose DID shatter PD, and Rose told her allies it was her after the fact.
Even assuming it was some conspiracy by WD or YD, that still leaves the issue of how they pulled it off.
The more likely option is that the shattering was an inside job from PD herself, having been warned of this but allowed it/ignored warnings.
Otherwise there's no reason Rose would have accepted responsibility for it so openly besides possibly war glory, but even that seems off for Rose.
