That still leaves two problems.
First, the sandwich would still be forbidden to eat for having contained pork even after you remove the pork. Imagine if someone gave you a shit sandwich, would you eat it even after removing the shit? Second, you're not allowed to eat anything during the day when it's Ramadan, so unless they're open at night it would still be forbidden even if there wasn't any pork on it to begin with.
It might be ignorance, it might be purposeful trolling, either way it's pretty funny.
