It's not the design from the pilot and there's a strong chance there is more to it. Pilot Pearl was another form she took when reforming, but it happened after this one.
These are the past designs of Pearl from various attempts Sucrose did. The closest that first form of Pearl comes to any of them is the middle one. But if you look, her outfit is entirely different (no frills like the first regen form had). Even the hair isn't really the same since it's so limp in the poster but clearly coiffed in her reforming animation.
