Can the DCEU just have one good fucking villain? Just one?

Can the DCEU just have one good fucking villain? Just one?

Use spoilers you vapid cunt

>inb4 Zodfags
Zod was shit.

>Dude I'm Ares and i'm evil lmao

Y-you're shit!

i actually liked him a lot...

and it's fucking Ares. he's not really ever had depth.

would love to see the actor come back as AzzAres

>There's a baddie in the flim
>Spoilers

I thought Zod was pretty good. I just thought his plan was awful for a genetically bred military leader. And you know the genetically bred military leader getting his ass kicked by a genetically bred scientist.

>That fucking mustache

>When they showed the flashback a defeated Ares, and he still had that mustache
>Entire theater erupted with laughter

>he's not really ever had depth.

In my WW movie The one in my head the first villain was Circe

The only bad part was the final fight, too much CGI.

>Who could have guessed Ares would be a Wonder Woman villain!

It would help if he looked cool and had a greater presence on screen.

He needed to be like 8 feet tall with a flowing cape, shrouded face in smoke and the red glowing eyes. Say its generic all you want but its more memorable and striking than fucking that

Ares has always been one of the worst villains in comics. At least now we never have to have another movie with him

To be fair, almost zero cape movies have good villains.

Shame Justice League is gonna give us Steppenwolf by fucking Snyder and Whedon.

patrician taste detected.

This is how I feel about Doomsday.

I don't get it DC have tons of good villians, but why is so hard for the directors and writers to do them right?

That's nice, I guess. Do you have a point?

New 52 Ares better than WW movie.

Zod and Lex have been. Unless you're a pleb and have bad taste. like:

>liking Thornberry Ares

>kept his super unthreatening Commissioner Gordan-ass face and weak old man voice for 95% of the fight
>used a bunch of bad cgi like the tank dropping scene and the goofy almost 80's-esque lightning
>WW's armor looked like plastic in every scene with orange lighting

A lot of scenes fell flat but this was the most disappointing. How did half of this shit make it through editing?

Critics dont point any of that out, because
YAAAAAAS QUEEN YAAAAAAAAAAAAAS

Mods it is not hard to do your jobs.

No, jeez, I'm not allowed to reply with a comment about villains in a thread about villains?

Simple. They didn't go to ILM. If you want decent special effects in modern Hollywood, you want to get ILM.

Too bad Disney bought them.

Woof, damn Warner Brothers. Fire your fucking cgi team already.

This was my only gripe about the film. He's a compelling villain, but at the same time he seemed like such a non threat.

Zod and Batman were pretty good.
