>Valve's business model sinks another venture

>We could have got an SFM series on [as] if Valve wasn't a bunch of lazy fucks

The one where it fucking updates more than once every five years

>yfw valve time strikes once again

Place predictions, when is the last one gonna come out

> March 2020

>game will be 12 years old by then
wew

...

I think blood in the water is the last one I read I honestly forgot about these

Does this confirm the tweet

With how slow these take I don't blame you losing interest
Does anyone even care for Hal Life Ep 3 anymore

Nothing will ever top this epic moment

>Dyke Pauling
I still the comic writer's a fag for doing this, and that Valve are bunch of fags for letting him.

I didn't read Comic 6 yet, is Engie being fucking ignored by the damn team or something?

none, it's literally a meme comic, taylor made for reddit

No.
She was checking out Soldier.

>we finally became true detectives

Posts this retarded should be a bannable offense

i'm about to give you a meme made for your ass you poopy nigger

>it's literally a meme comic
>uses not a single stale meme
Nigga do you even know what your saying or does your mouth just work without your brain even knowing.

Soldier's Merasmus moments and his moments with Heavy's sister kill me

Engie is taking care of the Administrator.

>Professionals
>As fucking sniper comes into view also naked.

This and Overwatch both just need ongoing comics, I don't know why Valve and Blizzard are both too cucky to commit to that.

Hiya, reddit

This was my other possible assumption ty
I really wanna read the 6th comic but I always MUST read the first couple made in order every time, it's like a tradition, and I found myself short on time recently

Anyone else do that?

Because if we're being honest, even though these comics are fucking God tier, they aren't profitable like CSGO and Dota 2 are. Hell that's why TF2 is getting ignored entirely.

Are the Overwatch comics worth it if you know some basic lore but don't own the game?

>Are the Overwatch comics worth it if you know some basic lore but don't own the game?
No, they're mediocre just like the game.

The over watch comics are capeshit tier trash.

Soldier has consistently been the best part of these comics.

I want Zhanna to sit on my face

...

>Look, Merasmus, if you're gonna keep asking dumb questions I'll go use my other bathroom that I made in the kitchen

>Are the Overwatch comics worth it if you know some basic lore but don't own the game?
Yes, if you think Overwatch's lore and characters are interesting. That can be kind of a big if though, since Overwatch was written by Blizzard.

No, the comics released as of now are glorified character vignette rather than actual story relevant content. On top of that most of them are trash.

Its like Blizz writes this shit to aim at children, even though a solid half(at least) is actively jerking/schlicking to the characters.

An actual Overwatch ongoing with the same level of maturity as Starcraft 1, Diablo, or hell even Warcraft Three could be good for a long time provided they had a good writer for it.

October 10, 2017. Right in time for the 10th anniversary.

>Solid half of the playerbase

What I mean to write.

To be fair, the game itself is already written like a fucking Disney movie
youtube.com/watch?v=yK9ya1vZZcU

I don't really want to be the one who defends Overwatch but the Lucio/D.va stuff lines are for people on the same team, while the TF2 lines are for dominations.

...

tf2 is fantastic but neglected. OW is soulless but a solid and supported game.
Fuckem

Yeah, so is everything Blizzard writes nowadays, it's part of the problem. Diablo fucking 3 suffered heavily because it was an M game full of dialogue out of a T game.

Fair point, but it still shows how soft the characters are. Even in tf2 when you pair up with a medic, characters like the heavy viciously brag about killing others while their pocket is still alive

If I can get examples of Overwatch heroes roasting others that would be pleasant

>filename
Pyro Update Soon™ The weapons are gonna be dogshit and forgotten 2 months after release

I'd love an engineer update

Where the class is deleted. Engineers are the cancer of tf2.

t.scout main
get gud

>TF2 without teleporters
Enjoy your scenic nature hike to the point if you play anything other than soldier or scout.

>playing any other class besides soldier, scout or demo with 1000+hours.

LOL
O
L

SF has the same problem nowadays.
The only characters with even remotely mean victory lines are the villains and Sagat.
Every character has the same level of friendly banter even when they used to have rivalries and it's upsetting.

Yer ugly.

The Scout and Spy interactions are some of the best moments even before they started throwing the dad jokes around.

You sayin something, pardner ?

...

>Fair point, but it still shows how soft the characters are.

You're an idiot trying to compare apples and oranges. Characters in Overwatch are intended to be relatively normal people in extraordinary circumstances. Characters in TF2 are hilariously exaggerated psychopaths blowing each other up over fucking nothing for no reason.

When the Pyro update they promised comes out

I know that fucking feel, user.

Every Spy/Scout interaction is such a treasure.

...

>Characters in Overwatch are intended to be relatively normal people in extraordinary circumstances.
Yes, all those normal people who are moon monkeys or literal dwarf engineers or international gamer-military superstars or half-human cyborgs or brainwashed killers or cryosleep-revived scientists with military grade handheld freezeguns or fucking priest robots. All of those relatively normal people.

>Characters in TF2 are hilariously exaggerated psychopaths
Keyword being hilariously, as in "funny," which Blizz seemed to miss entirely.

> blowing each other up over fucking nothing for no reason.
They're explicitly hired as mercenaries. Blowing each other up is literally their job description.

THE MASKETTA MAN

...

Not particularly funny but I just loved when this happened

>getting the mini gun in serious sam 3.png

damn do there is porn of her ??
the soldier gf

her name is zhanna and she is my wife

>All of those relatively normal people.

They are relatively normal, for the setting Overwatch takes place in. With the exception of two, maybe three members of the cast, they aren't a bunch of crazy people shooting each other for laughs.

>Keyword being hilariously, as in "funny," which Blizz seemed to miss entirely.

You seem to be missing what kind of game Overwatch is. It's not intended to be a "ha ha I blew that guy up and then called him a sissy" kind of thing.

>Blowing each other up is literally their job description.

Yes, their entire job description. That's the fucking point. That's the entire joke. They kill each other because that's why they were hired. The ENTIRE reason they were hired. To kill each other over nothing for no reason.

Again, you're an idiot comparing apples to oranges.

do you have some porn of your wife to share with us ??

If Zhanna was in the game

Would she be a reskin Heavy, or a reskin Soldier?

She's a russian who loves to kill commies almost as much as she loves america.

Remove loadouts and hats or add a mode that forces them, already fixed 50% of the game

> relatively normal people

Tracer, an ace jet pilot before she was 20.
Mercy, a technological and medical prodigy.
Winston, a genetically enhanced ape.
Symmetra, an autistic light-construct prodigy.
Mei, a cryogenic expert who may have been 21 when she was working in antarctica.
Soldier 76, who's timeline lines up to have been such a soldier prodigy he was thrown in to be a super soldier uin his first 6 months of training.
Junkrat, can make functional technology and bombs and weaponry out of pure scrap
D.Va, Starcraft e-sport player turned mech suit hero.
Efi, 11 year old who could reconstruct a robot and reprogram AI.
Sombra, kid hacker turned part-technology stealth agent.

Yeah, they don't seem relatively normal to me. They're all some form of moden era genius at what they do.

>They are relatively normal, for the setting Overwatch takes place in.
There is nothing normal about the setting Overwatch takes place in because Blizzard tried to fit every single setting, trope and character design in that they could think of/steal- and then realized it didn't line up with the actual game at all so they had to say sorry folks, the game is non-canon make believe even though that's what you're actually fucking buying. It isn't even a good setting, it's completely cliche good vs. evil horseshit with about five characters whose entire being is "Everyone thought they died! But they DIDN'T!"

>You seem to be missing what kind of game Overwatch is. It's not intended to be a "ha ha I blew that guy up and then called him a sissy" kind of thing.
What kind of game is it, fella? The game where you scream at your teammates because it's rigged to give everyone a 50% win/loss rate by matching good players with retards? Or the game that you don't actually play, you just pick your favorite cookie-cutter character based on their single, boardroom-decided defining trait and draw them as Oreo-skinned black people on your Tumblr while reblogging similar garbage art as "#ow #hanzocree #literally me"?

>They kill each other because that's why they were hired. The ENTIRE reason they were hired. To kill each other over nothing for no reason.
Why do the people in OW kill each other? Oh, shit, they don't, because half the people on the same team are actually mortal enemies in the backstory that Blizz put so much effort into.

>Again, you're an idiot comparing apples to oranges.
Your oranges are so fucking garbage in comparison they may as well be tangerines.

I don't like overwatch but please don't bring tangerines into this

Shame there is so little interaction in game between characters with Overwatch. And not really clear directives. Maps are kinda small too.

Blizzard really needs to whip that thing up a bit more. Big areas longer straightaways. More places where its a hard grind. Also something other than just a flag for capturing.

Second. Whatever your issues with them are, they don't deserve this.

And why are they in the game.. eh?

Blizzard went into making really unique heroes and then doing jack all to give them agency aside from flavor text.

soldier and merasmus interactions are the best part of the comics

Jesus Christ, did Chris Metzen run over your cat or something?
>Blizzard games are poorly written tripe
No fucking shit, the point was is that Overwatch has potential with its characters and setting that Blizzard could take advantage of with a well written comic.
Stop ranting like a game you don't like being popular is fucking sacrilege

t. Someone with 850 hours on tf2.

This is a TF2 thread.
Everyone shut the fuck up about Overwatch.
If you don't I will eat you

that sounds like the perfect woman to me.

ZhannaxSoldier is best ship ever in all things

Anyone got that one where she and soldier are lathered in honey and she is loving every minute of the violent shooting she's in?

Stop self-inserting as Zhanna, user.

How is the soldier's writing just so perfect? How the fuck do you make a character this good?
>Best writing
>Aesthetic gruff man design
>Overall most rounded class
Literally 10/10 character

I don't know but she should definitely fight wearing only honey

Least we got a good crossover.

I don't mind this.

She would be a soldier just like her husband.

>one day there will be a good Zarya skin

And our grandchildren will rejoice.

Not canon but goddamn I wouldn't mind if it was

Her arctic/siberian front skins are what her default design should have been.

Guess I'm rolling Gothic till I get a better one.

>Blizzard went into making really unique heroes and then doing jack all to give them agency aside from flavor text.

I'm still upset that Zenyatta has amounted to 0 things except for being a prop for Genji's development.

I can't believe how good these comics are. I had played TF2 for a few years but it wasn't until a podcast I like did an episode on it that I checked them out and realized how great they were. TF2's relationship with its lore is masterful

In this very thread. That was the latest comic.
