So since we have news that Animaniacs is getting a reboot, how would you handle reinventing the more sexier characters from that show? Since its probably not a good idea for a modern kids show to have the guys go gaga over sexy hot nurses, or have scenes where Minks walk around in nothing but a bath robe showing of lots of nudity and cleavage shots. I was kind of thinking of Having Minerva be the looks really hot but doesn't realise herself kind of trope, Instead of her usual gold digger personality. not sure what the trope is called. Basicly guys would act super nice and friendly with her, buy her clothes, give her food for free and stuff. And she would think they are just being nice to her, but its all because they think she's really hot, and they want to go out with her. Maybe the joke could be that its all for nothing and she tells guys she has a boyfriend, which is that hunting dog from the first show. Something similar could also be done with the Nurse character. But I'm not sure this would be entirely ok for modern kids shows either. What do you guys think?

Yeah thats why I was trying to brainstorm stuff they could do with Minerva thats safe to show, but it would require changing her personality and other things. Maybe best to just leave her out of a possible reboot. She wasn't in the original show too much anyway, and only had two episodes to herself.

Well, if the new PPG is anything to go by, the characters getting neutering isn't out of the question. Although, I'd like to believe that such a stupid change would be a byproduct of the reboot being hot melty garbage, rather than a competent production being afraid of Idiots. I mean, it's not like sponsors are going to give a shit, Nurse and Minerva's schtick was always pretty tame. If anything is getting changed, it's their demeanor, specifically Minerva.
Although, if anyone can be easily cut out, it's Minerva. I only remember her having the one cartoon and I couldn't recount the plot for the life of me. The cameos were the most I remember. Lots of hot showers.

The show was edgy, but as a whole fairly manageable. The only pitfall Animaniacs in particular might have to face is that the regular cartoon broadcasters have filled a more "kid friendly" niche in recent years. While this could be a problem for the show's sexual content, considering how prude us Americans are, being hot and having cleavage isn't a no go unless you're the new PPG. Especially if you get the same people involved, they'll be able to dodge the censors like they used to.
best case scenario, we get the first slot in the Adult Swim block, stay kid friendly, and confuse the fuck out of kids and parents alike. Beats more family guy reruns if you ask me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We did get Samurai Jack on adult swim, so i guess it could happen with Animaniacs, if the people who are working on it would think it had potential. Plus it would be fun to have more cartoons that aren't 100 percent for kids.

It'd most likely be from WB Animation and they have zero problems with fanservice. Well, unless they go supercheap like TTG, in which case they'll jettison most of the characters anyway. Anybody with a remotely complicated design will be dumped because of that.

We'd at the very least get the Warners, Pinky & the Brain, and Rite & Runt.
