Story to be announced

Justice League's "Legacy" arc (August-October 2017) is a go; the arc after that will be written and pencilled by Hitch himself. Good luck with your possibility of getting hammered by fill-in artists.

Sauce: A deleted (?) Hitch tweet (via desuarchive.org/co/thread/92800973/)

In addition, Hitch said that the stories originally solicited for the June-July 2017 issues are scrapped.

I like how Lois' hair and eye color change with every other artist.

They have a button for anything.

But given that the Watchtower is a stopping point/likely target for all sorts of possible risks it makes sense.

too adorable.

>Hitch is off
>JL is interesting again
Thx God.

>Her fucking face of barely contained terror

hahahahaha

so cute

>Fear Itself

That brings back some unpleasant flashbacks.

>anti-terror group, terrorism commentary

Oh boy

Seriously

I'm so much more interested in Shea Fontana's short run on WW now

>Jon ogling Diana
Starting young.

>Jon is weirded out by the porn Batman is looking at
I bet it's furry

adorable

Wonder how long can they keep up the 'insecure rookie' characterization of Jessica
Tbh, it was cute at first, but it's starting to become boring
The 'steel sharpens steel' line is cool tho, mildly hyped for Fontana's WW

Best girl.

This is more of the Cyborg I want please. Especially in the JL setting.

What the hell is going on with Supermans body in the middle panel?

This is the writer replacing Rucka? This was pretty good. I have some good expectations about that now.

>they even built a little barn.
>THEY did?
Got a genuine laugh from me.

>This is the writer replacing Rucka?
Fill-in only

>"Bruce, is that a BAT button?"
>"I pay for all this, Clark. I deserve a BAT button."

Also, this is what casual adventures should be like. Just heroes giving each other a leg up and learning, just like the rest of us.

Your move, Marvel. Make it spectacular.

>Hitch said that the stories originally solicited for the June-July 2017 issues are scrapped
Any idea what they were? I bet something to do with time travel

That's not ogling. That's the face of a nephew who's reunited with the aunt that will let him go wild at Toys R' Us.

Come on, dude, she's been on the team for barely a year. She's still got at least 2 years before you can start needling on that particular aspect.

We know the replacement?

>Sauce: A deleted (?) Hitch tweet (via desuarchive.org/co/thread/92800973/)
There's nothing in that thread I could see about a "Legacy" arc or any mention of a tweet or any mention of scrapped stories.

You are right
Because of the biweekly pace, it felt more than a year

these ones seem interesting

Not yet. This is being decided by DC.

>There's nothing in that thread I could see about a "Legacy" arc
t. forgot to see the August solicits

>or any mention of a tweet or any mention of scrapped stories.
t. not browsing Bryan Hitch's twitter regularly

Is it weird that this was my favorite Justice League issue since Rebirth?

No.

Hitch is a chore to read

>Doesn't create a construct to give himself a high five
And they were wondering why they ain't real JL GLs yet.

>Lay it on me Cyborg.

>*Clank*

I like austimo Cyborg lol

>y-you too

This was pretty comfy.

This is not the first time that you see lois and john here...
DC obsession in them and Damian is very famous.. He is in the Teen Titans and sometimes in Nightwing..

halal rape time

Someone crop that Jess face place

This cover is kind of creepy.

THIS cover is REALLY nice!

When is Jon going to give Simon grief about being a manlet

Diana's such a sore loser.

Read bump

humana humana humana humana humana

Superman is Plastic Man confirmed.

>Let's just write out the boring blonde guys no one cares about

Good writing

>Cyborg would be a cool older Brother
Was he like that when Billy? What exactly happened to Billy?

>Rebirth costume design
>post-Reborn coloring

...

Aww Jess :(

Poor Billy must be feeling jealous without even realizing why.

She has severe anxiety. The insecurity is gonna be there not matter how good she gets

>batman
second to last panel followed by last panel

this was literally surprise followed by a smile.

who is this man? did they jump to dickbats again?
on batman.

So did rebirth retcon Superman and Wonder Woman dating?

Superman Reborn retconned it.

wait so wasn't some kind of a metaphor? ffs

>Abnett
one one hand I like writers' crossovers, at the same time it's fucked because they sometimes treat it like a special of their issue
like, watch JL#24 not get included in hardcovers etc. for Aquaman

I love this Cyborg.

Wonder how long she'll be on for?

I would be making that exact same face Jess is making in that second panel.

I'd be okay with Jess being MY queen to be honest

Why is Jessica so perfect?

Like no, seriously, most new characters these days seem to be awful. Why does Jessica feel like the exception?

For starter, she isn't forced. She isn't replacing anyone either. The Green Lanterns are a group so having another one doesn't diminish the others. Even Baz, the less developped one, wasn't replaced, they are partners.

And her story and "quirks" fit perfectly with what is a Green Lantern; her fear defined her so much that she was a perfect host for Volthoom, but the fact that she fights against it makes her worthy of a ring.

I'm not pointing fingers at any new legacy character, but Jessica's arc is compelling at least.

I'm really loving this, I wonder if soon there will be something like this but with Selina and baby Helena(???)

Jess is just so freaking cute and I can honestly identify with that face, I would hate to be surrounded by so many bugs.
I wonder if they are going to use her in the Corps movie???

She's perfect because she's not perfect
Jess is a very much flawed person, but she is actively trying to change herself for the better. That's human and relate-able, unlike other new characters that are outright Mary Sues

Imagine getting sandwiched in between Batman and Superman like that.

Wait, how'd they get the queen out?

Aw, I wanted to see Jess fuse with the bug queen and turn into a kind of broodmother.

...

Even Batman knows Lois is best girl

>Simon acting like an angst teenager
>suddenly naked Jess
what a weird issue

Only like 5 issues

Which Tbf is about as long as a lot of books that Marvel puts out intending them to be ongoings

I was concerned that she couldn't do big boy comics, but this is fairly solid. Her WW arc should be decent.

That's some empowered strong female pose Superman is doing.

>no Billy
The holy trinity of fun would be complete.

I fucking love Baz
