Do you read her comics, Sup Forums?

Do you read her comics, Sup Forums?

Am I the only one that hated Assault on Arkham?

Solo, or does Suicide Squad count?

No. The 3D Porn of hers is nice though.

It was alright up until the point it just became a Batman/Joker movie through the eyes of Suicide Squad.

Yep.
Mostly cause I liked her pre-flashpoint and I've kept up with near everything N52 onward.

I literally have every N52 and variant.

I've spent so much fucking money...

I read Suicide Squad Rebirth. She's easily the worst part of it

I liked her first run back in the early two-thousands.

It was meh, but still better than almost everything else DC's animation wing has been pumping out lately.

Fuck I've just been reading it online.

Little Black Book is fun enough I might get in trade, but most of it I wouldn't wanna spend what lil money I got in.
You're crazy user.

>I read Suicide Squad Rebirth. She's easily the worst part of it

Really? Not living computer virus girl?

I find her best stories are when she's underestimated and ends up being way more resourceful than the reader would expect, like in her Convergence issues or the last story of Gotham City Sirens.

Oh fuck, I forgot about her. I guess I repressed all memories of her since her power's trigger my autism so much

No, you're not. I thought it was pretty shitty and overall underwhelming too.

No, the writing in the movie fucking SUCKS. I know it's an animated movie but the quality is significantly lower than most blockbusters a lot of the time Live-action Suicide Squad has a worse script than any DC animated movie I've seen though

I would, but for some reason Harley has gone missing and has been replaced by an impostor

Harley Quinn was the textbook example of the Dependent Personality Disorder.

It's not something that you actually end up getting over, it's a problem that stays with you for life. The fact that she does getter better and over her obsession, and then begins stripping down with a costume change into a completely different type of crazy just undermines her character and what she originally stood for.

Hell, she was even used by Psychiatrists as an example of how problematic the Dependent Personality Order can get to try and get people treatment.

It was a cool Suicide Squad film up until it became a Joker wankfest.

It actually served to make Arkham Asylum a shittier story, because it makes it seem that mass breakouts there are common, and that the game is just a regular wednesday at Arkham. It also didn't at all work as a prequel since at the end Joker got away, when Arkham Asylum starts with him already captured, but I guess they thought they might get a sequel.

The second half of it was seriously flawed.

But Killer frost was great.

I only read it for the "articles"

Is Betty Boop Harley better than Stripper Harley?

You don't have any idea. I hate that hack of a movie. And the retards are like "It's the best movie I've seen" Harley was a shell of a character, the only good thing were those 2 minutes of Joker in his cell.

Did you see the microwave, right?!

No. I prefer adult characters to act their age.

>that face on the bottom
I feel like it needs to be shopped onto that guy being airhorned by the feminists.

>I have all her preNew52 things,
I liked them

>After I read Suicide Squad through N52
but she was practically dead as a character, bad writing is bad writing.

>Her solo (2013-2017)
You can't read that shit, it is not physically possible to indure pages and pages of that level of stupidity.

I'm reading the backup stories by Dini but i don't touch the main story.

>Rebirth.
In Suicide Squad she's still mostly an empty character. She's there cause she sells this comic but the character is flat and just fanservice.

No. Batman TAS Harley is the only Harley.

>How to get the female audience
>Take a playfully sexual character
>Make her a huge slut
>Women love her now

I "read" her comics if you know what I mean.

Are you complaining?

Seconded.

Loved killer frost design, waifu tier. But that's about it.

Reading her comics made me realize she worked better as a hero than a villain's sidekick.

hahahahaa reading her comics made me realize she needs to come back to Gotham and Batman

i liked the one that the dodsons did art on.

Hack > HQ

Thirded

Not even once. Post-Timm Harley is edgy teenager and wank bait.

The worst thing about this is what they did to Pam. We could have had a psychological story arc where there is a division between where the human begins and where the plant ends, and how she struggles to maintain her humanity and from going full plant. Instead we just get her a Harley's girlfriend.

If they really wanted to push the strong female with sex appeal they should have gone with Power Girl

In short, no.
In long, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

She was mostly unnecessary in her best iteration in B:TAS. Now she's a genocidal slut who gets a free pass for some inexplicable reason.

no, I just fap to her

that's exactly my problem with it dude! they ruined Pam too

I read the Kesel comics and i forget who took over after he left, but those were fun and enjoyable.

If you count her team books,Gotham City Sirens is quite good and Suicide Squad i have no clue.

i liked it

...

I liked Little Black Book, everything else with her in it is garbage

No but the character has taken a great direction that's made her more popular than ever while simultaneously enraging Sup Forums autist and comicalliance harpies.

It is fucking hilarious:

Why did they use such a radically different design for her?

Everything shes been in before new 52 and the paul dini rebirth stuff. fuck Palimiotti

I've seen panels from it online. As of right now Harley's character is super inconsistent. Some issues she tries to be a hero but in other issues she's a full blown psychopath. Pick one.
The worst example of this is when Harley committed a massive genocide by making a Nintendo 3DS update that killed several children. That shit is unforgivable and there is no way to justify it whatsoever. I prefer BTAS Harley because she's depicted as an innocent girl manipulated by the Joker but I have no problem a more violent elseworlds incarnation. Gods and Monsters Harley is a great example. I hope DC lets Max Landis write his Harley Quinn book. An unredeemable Harley sounds really interesting.
That 3DS kid murder would not feel out of place in his mini series.

No, I hate everything about her and would remove every single panel where she says "Puddin" with scissors if it didn't ruin the panels on the opposite side of the page.

The episode had Joker's henchmen be based on silent movie era comedians. Charlie Chaplin etc.

>great direction

hahahahaha shit! you're really retarded.

Does she love Batman more than "puddin"?

I hate how in the animated series and shit she loves joker even though joker just uses her and in the end always smacks her across the face.
Haven't read much of the comics but they have some wild ships there with Ivy and shit

so you hate when she calls Joker Puddin?

someone post that comic where she's constipated

Not the ongoing, but I'll pick up a mini, and it's fun whenever she's in a crossover like Justice League VS Suicide Squad.

The best thing I've read concerning her was the ole' 2000-2001 series written by Karl Kesel or something, and I'll stand by that until I die.

Storytiming her only good solo run

Karl Kesel & Terry and Rachel Dodson Harley Quinn. Just one issue

I like Injustice Harley better than any other version. I agree with Landis in that it's kind of hard to make her a good antihero while she still keeps going back to the Joker. Now that she's becoming a more standalone character, I think the only way to keep her interesting is to have her snap out of her co-dependency a bit and go full anti-hero. Injustice making her part of the Bat Family was my favorite part of that story, and she works pretty well as a comic relief / mere mortal as a foil to the rest of the cast's melodrama.

Plus, her being good gives Batman's "No Kill" policy credibility. One of the big reasons I think people get pissed at Batman is because you NEVER see any of the villains he saves reform and STAY reformed. Quinn is the ultimate success story for Batman's ideal, which I think it kind of needs.

I like how Ivy's actions here goes back to what Harley said a few pages later

>Sometimes you do crazy things for love P.I

...

pages before*

That was the case with Mad Love, but Kesel just reworked a few things with her origin. It wasn't anything drastic like the reboot did, just adding some minimal things

>dress like this if I had your figure
I like Dodson, but most of his women have the same build, and Harley and Ivy look alike in this page

>Lewis
