CAPTAIN MARVEL

Alright, lads. How can they make it work?

Make her a sexual predator.

Have it be a huge fake-out and it's really about Mar-Vell.

They scrap the project and make the movie about someone else

Hire Patty Jenkins.

It won't work, they'll just churn out the same quip filled shit that they've been doing for years now only this time hopefully it won't be like the 'muh strong female character' malarkey that they fill her comics with.

Women superheros are for fapping. Using them in any serious sense is a dumb idea.

She needs to impregnate the women of Earth to bolster the the Kree population.

Oh yeah?

Start the movie with her already having the powers.

When somebody asks her how she got them, she says she got them by butting-in a fight between a Good Alien and an Evil Alien about an Alien Device that exploded in the fight and when she awakened she had the powers.

The movie is about somebody(Kree, possibly Doctor Minerva) trying to rebuild the Psychomagnetron and stealing the pieces from Project PEGASUS where she's acting as Security Officer as well as training and analysing her powers.
Sub-plot of the US govt\military wanting to make her the leader of a more "loyal to the US\Canada" super-hero group with the super-people already at PEGASUS as seed members-

The movie is about her managing her powers and trusting\leading the other members of PEGASUS to defeat the bad guys and avoid them activating the Psychomagnetron.

Post-credit scene #1 is revealing her "Seventh Sense" super-intuition, which during the movie is graphically suggested being Cosmic Awareness, is at least in part Mar-Vell speaking through the Nega-Bands she kept covered by clothes during the movie.

Sadly Jess is probably with Sony so can't use that plot.

>Alright, lads

Plot starts in a remote province of China, where the Chinese and American Gov't is trying to study the mostly intact wreck of a massive alien spacecraft they've uncovered beneath an Emperors tomb. Scientists from both countries are trying to understand the technology of the strange reactor pulsing inside the vessel. Major Carol Danvers is there. We are also introduced to Handsome Chinese Scientist (Chinese American?).

The site is attacked by the forces of the Mandarin and Arnim Zola, who are trying to steal secrets from the site. In the ensuing battle with the Chinese military, both Carol and HCS are exposed to an eruption of power from the reactor, and start exhibiting Strange Energy Effects. The thieves are steal a few technological relics and kidnap HCS.

Middle act is Carol recovering, learning her powers, stepping up to her mission as a Superhuman powerhouse for good. Meanwhile HCS a prisoner of Zola, has been converting itself to pure ionic energy. The Mandarin has refashioned some of the Energy Souce's control elements into his symbolic 10 Rings, and hs been tapping some of HCS's excess energy to empower them. Desiring a more stable specimen for study, Zola brainwashes the energy scientist into the idea that Carol's capture will be key to his own stabilization, and he goes along with Zola's minions on an attempt to capture her, exhibiting phenomenal superhuman strength and durability. Eventually Carol is able to convince him to flip and help her against Zola and the Mandarin (Which Zola has forseen and is a plan to get her where he wants her). Working together they manage to destroy Zola's operation, and pursue the Mandarin back tot he dig site, where he believes he'll be able to use the rings to take control of the energy source. Fight with Mandarin vs heroic Chinese Army, Mandarin vs Cpt. Marvel and this new Wondrous Man, high energy source is breached in battle freeing FIN FANG FOOM MOTHERFUCKERS. Big finale.

Civil War II

Basically set up the Chinese Guy as Radioactive Man, then have him stabilize into Wonder Man.
Remember, Simon Williams also started out as a scientist, before becoming a hero. Just make him a Clean Energy guy instead of a Munitions guy, which will sell huge in China. A film like this would easily be the largest grossing MCU film in China, as well as being a pretty cool film in general.

You've also used "real" Mandarin, robot body Zola, Radioactive Man, Wonder Man and Fin Fang Foom in a single picture.

Just have Carol be all gung ho about being a super from the start (she has an awesome powerset) and skip all the angst (that's for the Wondrous Man). And the story has plenty of alien shenanigans without involving the Kree again. Or you could make Fin Fang Foom a Kree bio-energy weapon. He'd be awesome as a dragon made of energy.

>Carol kills RDJ
>Cemented as hero of Sup Forums forever

Carol didn't kill Tony, she just put him in a coma

His tech initiated some complicated life support system to keep him alive

Sup Forums would REEEE at the idea of a Chinese Wonder Man, but it would work, and he'd make a good Avenger side-ally. Both he and Carol would maintain strong links to their own governments.

Having the Chinese Army heroically fighting the Mandarin would completely diffuse the whole controversy over him.

Get the ball rolling on a Masters of Evil Avengers movie too.

They can't! this will be the first MCU movie without a sequel, the movie will help the comic sell a little more but will not last long and will be relaunched again because Carol is a shitty character and only two writers wrote her well (Claremont and Busiek), Marvel will keep the push on the character because they don't have the rights of more revelant and interesting female characters like almost all the X-Men or Sue Storm, also because Carol is "the Wonder Woman of Marvel" according to them and they don't want to accept that Carol was initially a female counterpart of a better and more interesting male character, damn! even Kamala is better character than Carol, that's like a Robin better than Batman lol

Also... Monica and Phyla were better Cap Marvel than her, but well... Marvel chose the white blue-eyed blonde over the black and the lesbian :P that's weird.

Hardly any casuals know Monica and no one knows or gives a shit about Phyla, beyond a small group of people, and marvel's been pushing Carol for years long before they turned her into Captain Marvel. They weren't going to through all of that time and effort, if you could call it that, to start pushing another relatively unknown character.

That and Carol is simply a far better character than either.

Given Perlman's writing, boring apparently. I'm guessing Ant-Man levels. It will just be okay. And her comic will be totally cancelled and or someone else takes the mantle.

that's not high praise.

By making her a feminist Icon like WW. add in TWO feminist directors

They didn't even bother to get a great director for this like they did with BP

It's like Marvel aren't banking on this so much

Fleck & Boden's films have been just as well received as Creed.

You pretty much need Mar-Vell. Have Carol on a mission on earth when she sees two figures fall from the sky in a ball of flame. She gets closer and sees an extraterrestrial, Mar-Vell fighting a Kree Sentry. The Kree Sentry was rigged by Mar-Vell's nemesis, a captain of the Kree guard, Yon-Rogg, to release a new experimental mutagen on an enemy planet's civilian city. Mar-Vell intercepted it, and they fell to earth during the fight.

Carol intervenes in the fight to save Mar-Vell, but is caught in an explosion. The explosion fuses Mar-Vell's DNA, the mutagen, and the explosion's plasmic properties together into Carol, granting her incredible powers even beyond that of Mar-Vell.

An injured and weak Mar-Vell mentors Carol and trains her to use her powers in preparation for Yon-Rogg and an army of Sentries, who wants to study Carol. However, I'd end the movie with Yon-Rogg surviving and retreating from the planet, and deciding to "do some experiments" of his own.

The sequel has Yon-Rogg attempting to recreate Carol's powers, and creates Nitro. It's also revealed that Yon-Rogg is actually the leader of the Lunatic Legion, a group of Kree insurgents who plan to follow Ronan's footsteps and overthrow the Supreme Intelligence. The movie ends with Nitro being defeated, but Mar-Vell revealing to Carol that he's dying.

The third movie has Carol dealing with Mar-Vell dying of "cancer," which he attained from being in earth's atmosphere for too long and slowly breaking down his cells. Yon-Rogg decides that this is the perfect time to strike, and constructs a coupe on Kree, to which he holds the Supreme Intelligence hostage and sends his Lunatic Legion to earth to bring Carol to him. Carol goes with them to Kree, and has a final showdown with a genetically enhanced Yon-Rogg. Carol kills Yon-Rogg, and tells the Supreme Intelligence that in return for his life, they are to leave earth alone. SI agrees, and Carol returns home.

>sequels
Are you fucking kidding me

Hey, if you play the cards right, you could actually do a neato series that connects earth to the cosmic Marvel stuff, ending with it all being a big showdown in space.

Warner Brothers bet Disney to it. It doesn't matter.

beat*

Shit, that could work

Put Iron Man in it like everything else they do.
