F
Got class so I won't post the ads and stuff. Hope you guys enjoyed.

THANK U SO MUCH

>Impulsive
I see what you did there.

No problem, all I did was post some images.
I'm really glad I picked up Flash during the Rogues arc, things picked up when Thawne came back.

solicit for next issue (#25)

“RUNNING SCARED” part one! When Eobard Thawne murdered Barry Allen’s mother, he killed a piece of The Flash’s past. Now, Reverse-Flash is back to kill Barry’s future! The Flash's biggest storyline yet begins as he is pushed to his limits and his secrets are laid bare in a chase through time itself! Don't miss the extra-sized anniversary issue!

ON SALE 6/28

The funny thing about the Reverse Flashes, Thawne and Zolomon, is they say shit that seems evil and mouthpiecey but they end up being right.

>things picked up when Thawne came back.
These last two issues and especially this one were really fucking good.

Please someone share the textless version of The Flash #24 regular cover

This is the first issue I liked, of not only Williamson's Flash, but by Williamson in general. Does having based Thawne in it just automatically raise the quality of a comic?

It's sad once this is all over we are going to switch back to Edgelordspeed.

say goodbye to your OTP because based thawne is here

solicit for The Flash #26

“RUNNING SCARED” part two! Barry Allen and Iris West witness a chilling vision of the future courtesy of the Reverse-Flash, who reveals the couple’s legendary romance will yield only darkness for the world of tomorrow. Now, Thawne forces The Flash to make a choice: spend forever alone or doom the future?

I didn't expect Multiplex to be so relatable

I miss these two together so much

>wally are you hurt

I hope those pages are hinting into a brave and the bold book, I want more team ups.

This that a JoJo reference

>Since Darkseid
This means Darkseid vs Anti-Monitor right?

Probably.

Sometimes I forget that Thawne is an actual professor, they dont seem to display his scientist curiosity much these days.

is this a Jojo reference?

Why dont people like Hal, again?

>you never had a meaningful
Well you don't have to be mean Barry, jeez

Did Thawne even kill Iris in post crisis continuity?

uhh is this before or after zoom got manhattan'd?

after. . . after.

Yes.

Barry had his entire history intact post-crisis, Wally just assumed the mantle from where he left off.

Kind of. Thawne brain shanking Iris and her being whisked off to the future by her parents was canon in Post Crisis. Part of Wally's run was Iris coming back from the future with Bart, after all.

was he never?

The comic (last issue) makes you believe it's after, but it's probably before.

Third panel is a jojo pose.

After. We see his corpse begin to regenerate at the end of The Button.

>And I have many questions about what else has been... rebooted?

You and me both, Thawne.

Holy shit, Thawne is fucking brutal.

Fuck you Barry, Sinestro Corps r gud nau.

>P.O. box
Aww, that's strangely sad.

>Now, Thawne forces The Flash to make a choice: spend forever alone or doom the future?

This is LITERALLY "The Thousand-Year Separation!" from The Flash #237.

Pic related. Zoom fools Barry into thinking that if he tries to live together with Iris in the future (where she was secretly born), holocaust will happen, so Iris should marry Zoom instead.

Paradoxically, The Flash's entire history remained fully intact post-Crisis, even while the supposedly earlier heroes like Supes and Batman were moved closer to the future in the new timeline.

So, yeah, the whole Silver Age thing about Iris actually being from the future, and the Bronze Age thing about Zoom killing Iris were still referenced in Flash stories. Zoom killed her body, while her conscience was kept by her 30th century parents, who had it travel through time and inhabit a new clone body they've kept for her just in case.

While in stasis in her clone body, Iris was able to further time travel with her conscience, possessing a (male) juror at the Flash's trial and helping the Flash realize that he was being duped by Abra Kadabra all along.

In the previous issue we've seen his corpse started regenerating, so the assumption is "after".

What a ride.

Why are Thawne issues so fucking good? And why did N52 Thawne suck so much ass?

What did you hate about N52 Thawne?

My only gripe is with the arc's ending, where they couldn't think of any way Barry could outspeed the really overpowered Thawne and just pulled shit about "time and destination" out of his ass.

Mostly, I liked the "Acolytes of Zoom" annual where he recruited different metahumans throughout centuries and killed Barry's mother.

>And why did N52 Thawne suck so much ass?

Thawne doesn't suit for pokemon setting, acolytes took too much screen time away.

>What did you hate about N52 Thawne?
>
>My only gripe is with the arc's ending, where they couldn't think of any way Barry could outspeed the really overpowered Thawne and just pulled shit about "time and destination" out of his ass.
You just answered your question
The buildup was good, but then it sucked ass, the way Thawne acted when he was finally executing his plan was stupid as well

Pre flashpoint no. Zoom here remekbers all versions.

Iris death got retconned post final crisis.

>My only gripe is with the arc's ending
Nah the entire premise was just retarted

> I will manipulate a normal blood specialist from 20st century to make me a super powerful weapon!

That was only one part of it though. He was looking out for different talents that he could learn and combine in himself to become forever better than the Flash.

(Of course, he was already faster than the Flash, so...)

>He was looking out for different talents that he could learn and combine in himself to become forever better than the Flash.

Since when Henry is a better blood specialist than....literally anyone else?

this is the better of the 2 covers

Just look at that shit eating grin on his face in the first panel. He's having the time of his life.

>find out your dad is a supervillain and dead
>find out your mentor is your other mentor and also a liar
>find out you have a cousin with your powerset, but Deathstroke tricks you and ruins that relationship
>Reverse Flash beats you up in front of your aunt and breaks your knee twice

Being nu-Wally is suffering

I don't get it ,how did all these sadistic and evil act make him the best friend at the end ? As wee saw in last issue that the two end up become best friend, what's your theory ?

>Dayton Black

Now that's a typo.

Fuck this was actually real good, thawne is menacing as fuck.

Why is Barry so depressing in his solo comic but he has always been a great cool uncle whenever he is with others?

He is masking his pain.

Wait, I thought Prof Zoom completely forgot the time he raced OG Wally.

If professor zoom wants someone to empathize with the fact that the universe has been changed why doesn't he give Wally a visit?

>Hell, your not event he real Wally West
Do does Prof Zoom browse Sup Forums?

So is Professor zoom going to haunt Barry over causing Flashpoint? I really want to see that since technically this is still his fault.

technically it is Mirror Master's fault

I always found this to be fucking retarded.

>Every second is a gift
Wasn't that what was written on the watch Manhattan rebuilt?

It's the watch Barry gave to Wally.

>Third panel
>That Dio pose
Is this a JoJo reference?

AGAIN with the "IF I TELL HER SHE'LL BE IN DANGER" shit? I'm so fucking tired of that cliché, right down fucking retarded trash being regurgitated over and over. IF YOUR LOVED ONES KNOW YOU'RE A HERO, THEY CAN PREPARE THEMSELVES (AT THE VERY LEAST MENTALLY) TO THE PROSPECT OF SUPERVILLAIN ATTACKS. YOUR VILLAINS WON'T GIVE A FUCK IF YOUR LOVED ONES KNOW YOU'RE A HERO OR NOT, ONCE THEY LEARN YOUR CIVILIAN IDENTITY, THEY'LL ATTACK THEM FOR LEVERAGE EITHER WAY, YOUR LOVED ONES NOT KNOWING WON'T KEEP THEM SAFE IT'S SO FUCKING COUNTER-LOGICAL

That is my biggest issue with New 52 and Rebirth flash. It is just retelling stories we have read a million times before.

Which Wally?

Adult Wally.

That's actually really sweet and shows how Barry pretty much sees Wally as his son.
Of course this just makes me rage at the TV show because they completely ignore that very important aspect of the flash and have Wally just be some random friend of Barrys, not even his best friend either.

I think he's talking about people that have been hurt by Barry, not manhattan.

Wally is his brother. In 2 ways

Thawbe doesnt give a shit the universe changed he is actually hspph about that

Flash entire history was preserved Post-Crisis.

There's this great misconception that Crisis on Infinite Earths was a full reboot starting from scratch. It really wasn't. Most series continued from the point they were before Crisis. The only characters that were completely rebooted were Superman and Wonder Woman.

There are multiple instances were they reference Thawne killing Iris in Waid's run.

Yeah, Swamp thing was half way through it's run when Crisis happened and it continued just as normal.

Same with Teen Titans which was being written by Marv Wolfman at the time, and Dick just became Nightwing not long before Crisis.

Also, in the the Post-Crisis continuity they kept referencing things that happened in the Bronze Age such as the meeting between Batman and Ra's in the original O'Neil stories or the O'Neil/Adams run on Green Lantern/Green Arrow where Roy became a junkie.
