>Jay Lender of SpongeBob SquarePants and Disney’s Phineas and Ferb fame, has joined Pilla-Scheetz Productions to help produce season 1 of The Nine Lives of Claw.
>Season 1 is currently in production, and will be released in 26 “webisode” shorts beginning this fall. The Nine Lives of Claw follows the hilarious adventures of the sarcastic superhero cat; Claw, his genius albeit high-strung mouse sidekick; Edison, and the always ambitious kitty; Purrfessor Purrnelope as they battle the sinister MUTT (Malicious Unleashed Thugs and Thieves) and a slew of other villains to keep things in order in the fair city of Anonymous.
>Jay Lender has contributed to some of the most successful animated shows in recent history, including SpongeBob SquarePants. In all, he wrote and boarded 25 episodes. Not just any episodes either - some of the best from the first 4 seasons like Hall Monitor, Opposite Day, Big Pink Loser and Graveyard Shift. Jay also worked on Hey Arnold! and directed many episodes of Phineas and Ferb for Disney. In total, Jay has spent 19 years in Hollywood working in films, comics, video games and television. He’s also just completed his own, original feature film, They’re Watching.
Katbot was an old-ass webseries from 2001. Only one episode managed to be pulled from the Internet Archive. Wish I could find more. Disney aquired the show in 2005, but cancelled the television series mid-production. It's been lost forever ever since.
