Fight scenes were top notch.
Season 1 is all around beautiful to look at.
Character designs hit on all sixes.
Genuinely excited me with the ending of season 3 and beginning of season 4.

I liked the look of the UR warships and it had plenty of tits.

You would have to be a fucking idiot to not recognize a shit ton of good things in this show. Actualy, the problems with it are on few places, but crucial places: the writing.

Everything else was top notch, and some of the best that we had on TV animation for many years: design, fight scenes, music, animation and so on.

The show was easily a 7,5/10 if you don't take ATLA in consideration, and 5/10 taking it as a sequel. Far from being "the worst thing ever".

I liked Bolin.
I liked Varrick
I liked most of the fight scenes
I liked Amon
I loved Zaheer and his gang
And I even kind of started to tolerate Korra towards the end.

Hell, I liked what LoK was trying to do as a way to expand the world of Avatar by introducing new elements to it but mixing up the formula. It just did a real shit job at it.

Korra's big brown feet

I liked it from beginning to end.

Yes, there was a decline in quality but I love the overall style of the show, so i kept watching.

Plus I have a lesbian fetish.

You really aren't tired of making these threads yet?

The soundtrack is amazing.

The porn.
The Sound track.

I loved everything about LOK. Korra is my waifu.

Huh? Sup Forums liked everrthing about TLOK.

The whole show was good. The only bad thing was the " Not muh avatar aang" crowd

there were lots of interesting concepts , but since each season was almost encapsulated within it's own story none of then got much devlopment.
PTSD korra was cool
Varrick was cool

I liked it all. Shoddy writing at certain points, but it's still a pretty good 8/10 and I never understood the hate it got.

This is coming from a huge TLA fanboy. People forget that TLA was pretty shoddy at points too. I'd say TLA is a 9/10 and Korra is an 8/10.

>WAHHH IT DAMAGED THE CANON
>WAHHH THE ENDING WAS LESBIAN AND POORLY FLESHED OUT
>WAHHH I DIDNT LIKE SPIRITS

Korra gets way too much fucking hate. I've rewatched both back to back and while ATLA is definitely better, Korra isn't the shit tier show Sup Forums makes it out to be.

I wish Mako wasn't in the show

It wasn't anywhere near as bad as Sup Forums makes it out to be, but it was pretty crap compared to the original.

I didn't particularly enjoy how every season was its own self-contained story, to an extent. The original show building up over the course of three seasons was much more exciting.

fpbp

Those points are all pretty much the only things in Korra worth a damn.

Fanart tends to be pretty good as well.

the announcer guy was awesome, liked him better than roku.

didnt see it coming at all

You should have been on Sup Forums for this, shit was wild.

Definitely one of the greatest moments in all of the avatar series. Cannot fucking believe nick let it air.

Korra's dad.

Does the porn count?

does it?

Good animation
Hot grills
Season 3 and Zaheer's character

Kuvira was good for like 8 episodes when she was doing nothing wrong. Then all the sudden lol republic city is rightful earthen clay i have a robot

now try saying that out loud outside your safe space.

this.

and the voice work.

Xiu Lee or whatever its spelt.
Also the yandere twin sister.

I honestly still like first season of Korra best from whole show - LA and LoK.

Sexy Korra.

Korra was a retard, but at least she was cute retard. I want to hate fuck her.

Season 3.

I think almost everyone feels that way. Thats why a good majority of her porn is her being punished.

This. If there was one thing I can take away from Korra it was the god tier soundtrack. Even the utter train wreck of Season 2 had one of the best themes.

youtu.be/FWT5uHzAFIg

Amon, episode 1-9
Varrik

It's almost bizarre how ubiquitous this is. I don't think I've ever actually seen vanilla Korra porn.

You're right to say it gets too much hate but it's not all unwarranted.

It DID shit all over the lore of ATLA (both official and implied). Now, to enjoy ATLA to the fullest I have to keep it seperate from Korra. And if I start reading the graphic novels and they use Korra's new version of the lore there, then I can no longer take the two as seperate and Korra will actively be ruining ATLA. I haven't read the graphic novels yet, but even if they don't yet use Korra's lore, they may in the future.

The show WAS riddled with writing and pacing problems.

The ending WAS shit served as a nonending and basically forced Korra and Asami together because... reasons? The show didn't need to end with Korra having a love interest and I'm still not sure why it did. It'd have been one thing if there had been meaningful interaction between the two, but throughout the show there really isn't. Unlike the other two points, this doesn't hurt the show all that much, it's just annoying because it comes off as someone pushing an agenda.

We also didn't get much conclusion to many character arcs. I mean, what even was Mako's arc? He gets kinda pushed aside in the last season. Bolin's arc concluded I guess? Just wasn't really followed through on. Didn't feel like Tenzen's arc with his siblings or the airbenders really concluded either. Asami forgave her father. I guess Korra got her groove back and she and Asami are in love now? Only one that got a satisfying comclusion was Varrick and Zhu Lee.

When taken on it's own, I think Korra is a pretty good, if flawed show. But due to it's relation to ATLA, it's problems are magnified. It's inferior to its predecessor on every level and will always be held up and compared to its predecessor. On top of that, it contradicts its predecessor's lore.

Korra's fuckable tits.

The settings and background art, as well as the soundtrack. The writing is what killed it, they needed more experienced writers like Aaron Ehasz and Giancarlo Volpe.

Kuvira

the character design, the porn, the animation

Korra's big fuckin titties.

Korra porn is amazing! Best thing the show gave to mankind.

Guess

After all of the crying about solutions to problems being handed her, or no real consequences sticking, I'm glad they killed off the connection to her past lives for good.

Two things: those globes on her chest

Nuktuk hero of the south was gold.

Korra's massive breasts.

Korra's delicious chocolate body.

Yeah i really liked Korra and the ideas for each season despite all of them turning out poorly. Zaheers gang was pretty cool, Bolin was decent especially in book 4, same with Mako once the love triangle was dropped. I wanted to see more Tenzin and have him succeed more etc.

Honestly there's a lot to like about Lok, it's just a shame they treated it like shit, and didn't properly work out the plot lines.

If i had a lesbian fetish i would hate lok desu. People keep on pretending it's some hallmark of lgbt representation but it's fucking nothing.

As far as i know the comics haven't gotten into LoK lore, and as far as im aware they on hiatus to make room for LoKorrasami comics so they might never come back.

Everything about it was on the "good" side of the scale.

ATLA was a 9.5/10, and Korra was at least an 8.5 - really more like a 9.0 for the first and last seasons.

And Janet Varney is a gem, so it's got that going for it.

8/10 show overall. Biggest problems were the love triangle shit and weak first half of season 2. Some cases of shabby writing, but it's not like ATLA was perfect either. Glad I was able to enjoy it unlike most people here who convinced themselves it's the worst thing ever.

I liked Asami and Korra ending up together

Not for any diversity reasons or anything like that, I just think they look good/cute together

Should've stayed a crackship desu, that way fans could do whatever they wanted with the characters.

This. I just want to be held in her toned muscular arms, my head resting on her big tits and we embrace.

They should have just did that from the beginning and kept the whole love triangle bullshit out of it.

I liked the part where they did the thing.

I think fans are going to do whatever they wanted regardless

Yeah, but now the creators are dragging down the comics with a crackship aswell. Fans can do whatever they want, but creators should stick to their own stories, not make fanfiction.

I mean when it's canon it's no longer a crackship

I never really saw anything wrong with it either

To quote Dave Chapelle "For real nigga, I love lesbians"

Too bad they're not in the show then. The problem is that it's tacked on at the end and doesn't make sense given the characters histories with each other and the story. It's a crackship because of that and pretending it was there all along doesn't make it not a crackship.

It's not because it's gay, it's because Korra and Asami don't show feelings for eachother at all. Or for the same sex for that matter. I'm all for there existing gay people in LoK, Asami and Korra are just not among them.

Also it would have been more genuine to create some gay characters that show that they're gay. Instead of pretending it happened, "you were just to straight to see it".

Henry Rollins
the 34 was nice

They grew closer over the last two seasons, it really wasn't an all along thing as much as it was probably a last season and a half/two seasons kind of thing.

You can't just say "They're not gay for each other" when they clearly are and it's canon. They held hands, stared into each others eyes, and ascended into a rainbow beam at the end.

If you can't see them as being into each other it's less that you're straight and more you're probably outright autistic

The only thing I didn't like was Korra and Assami becoming a couple. Other than that, I enjoyed it.
I literally said "holy shit" out loud.

...

I liked everything.

Losers here are just fishing for hate

First off, i disagree entirely that they grew closer romanticly in those seasons. As friends sure but that is an entirely different kind of thing. And the creators also disagree with you so there's that.

The ending isn't conclusive, though it heavily imply romance. Which is the problem, it doesn't follow from the previous seasons and pretending it did is wrong.

The last comment is basicly what Bryan said himself. Refering to the hetero lens comment he made after the ending.

And finally. They are pretending it was there all along. It's in the comic previews/leaks we've seen. As far back as season 1 in fact when they drove on the race track. That is a moment where they felt closer than with anyone else ever.

Also posting Korrasami fanart isn't really helping the case. The ship was so starved for existence they had to make insane amounts of fanart to make themselves believe it was there.

I mean I'm just saying I wish I could find a girl that looks at me the way Korra looks at Asami there at the end

I'm not saying it was particularly well written, if Asami was a dude no one would be doubting anything. I think the heavy implication is fine, most people got what they were going for then the heavy autismos like yourself continue to try and say they aren't starting a relationship

>I mean I'm just saying I wish I could find a girl that looks at me the way Korra looks at Asami there at the end
That's officially the saddest thing I've read all week and I'm a company therapist for computer programmers.

It can't be the saddest thing you've read all week because you didn't write it

Eh she looked at Bolin the same way season one, it meant nothing there. Why should i believe it is any different because of Asami?

I would doubt it with dude!asami the pairing doesn't make any sense in the story changing gender doesn't change that.

Oh i got what they were going for with the final shot. I'm saying they shouldn't have tried to say that. It's like Makorra only with less time devoted to it. Completely nonsensical and unneccessary.

The creators didn't have the balls to pull the trigger for developing their relationship so they only vaguely(extremely) alluded to it over the course of the last season out of nowhere. From what I've heard the comic is complete shit too and will probably be pulled at some point.

Then they shouldn't have tried to shove it in there. And yeah it's the Legend of Korrasami now, which sucks because it actually wanted to see more of Korra and as far as i can tell that isn't going to happen.

Good one!

I liked the majority of Korra; there were just a few incredibly stupid moments that bogged down the series. Biggest examples that come to mind are the deus-ex Jinora in the season 2 finale and Korra's first "fight" with Kuvira.

LoK is literally the first series without what made it good. Just a bunch of preachy sjw faggotry with no soul. Good riddance.

Korra herself has a fantastic design as rule34 fodder. Excellent cumdump.

the qt fraternal twins

>Tenzin's arc wasn't resolved.
Actually, it was. He grew to accept himself as Tenzin the person during his trip to the fog of lost souls, passed on what he learned to Korra, and made up with his siblings. It's one of the few things season 2 did right.

His book 3 arc didn't feel very resolved though.

>preachy sjw faggotry
I don't know where retards like you keep getting that idea; LoK is ridiculously right wing.

It's one of the reasons I'm not entirely convinced Bryke were entirely genuine with their whole "We shipped Korrasami the whole time!" claim; they are VERY unsubtle with the conservative themes in their shows.

It's mostly Bryan i'd imagine, he gone off the deep end at this point with the PC culture. Mike might be more right wing. Also they're clearly lying about the Korrasami thing, they said whatever they felt would get them the most support from the fans, happened pretty much throughout the run.

LoK however does seem to be more left leaning it seems to say conservatism is bad and should be replaced. Something like that happens pretty much every season of the show. Not sure where the right wing comes in, aside from Suyin.

This moment was fucking dumb. They butchered the season 1 finale so badly.
