Bad timing.
I hope he does so this is basically Star vs. next.
Haven't seen Jello's channel for a bit, has he made a so this is basically Jojo's bizzare adventure?
No. Cowboy Bebop is the only anime he has done.
>Marvel as the writers take the worst character, and gradually make him the best character!
How? Its not like he made a reference to the incident or a special focus on Ember
Wait so Hartman actually voiced a character in a YT video making fun of his work? That's actually pretty fucking based.
>the rebreather part is literally point for point on par with an average episode on Danny phantom.
I like rebreather
I find it interesting/weird how in a lot of these channels that parody cartoons, Hartman always seems to be available to do a cameo on the episode that features his cartoons. Same thing happened with the Knock Off Fairly Oddparents video.
It's pretty accuarate, I hope Hartman actually does something with Danny Phantom soon.
>being a Christian makes you a conservative politically
how stupid are you
I hope he never does.
I hope he does
I am indifferent on whether or not he does
Pony heads I still and always will be shit
why
Wannabee Jontron
I was actually talking about Ludo
>Box Ghost playing with dolls
Kek
>the sexual fanart
You know, this reminds me of a distant memory I have finding about Tumblr making the opening theme lyrics racy...because of a screenshot of a scene with Danny and Dash in a position that can unfortunately be misconstrued as sexual.
(don't know where I found that post exactly, but it's definitely not that site)
>Starring the show's creator...
MEU DEUS
yeah, I didn't read the title the whole way. Just went straight in after "So This Is Basically".
>...and ProZD
I'd seen some of his neat VA sketches (and the fanimations made from them), it's good to see him getting some endorsement from other "creative media" YouTubers at last.
>Marvel as the writers take the most boring character and then don't do anything with her while giving her an expanded role
Whoops, missed words. I meant:
>but it's definitely not directly from that site.
I thought jello said he wasn't making these anymore? Not that I'm complaining...
He's done with the "Welcome to" series.
>"*sigh* Guess I'll die."
he really wants to revive Danny Phantom
he's been phoning it in since Fairy Odd Baby
modern FOP, Tuff Puppy, and Bunsen is a Beach show he doesn't really care but he talks about DP often.
I wonder what a show he cares about will look like after all these years
DP was the most ambitious project he ever did. Actual world building and character arcs, characters meant to be cool, and not just goofy. It makes sense that he'd remember it fondly and still be interested in it.
>Have you ever thought about what'd it'd be like if Spider-Man was dead
Best of basically videos no doubt
okay, something weirds me out about Hartman. I saw that panel where it was Hirsch, McCracken, Sugar, and Faust and I had the feeling that everyone else on that stage hated him
Do you have a link?
I wonder if he and Nick considered continuing it as a comic like they did with Invader Zim.
this

More Ghost lore when?
Hartman is a go getter and all around cool business guy who likes cartoons and comic books. He is on a different level than those guys.
I don't really get that, just seems like they don't have much in common
I'm not sure if I would be more or less disappointed if there was an Embers Ghost Squad joke in there or not
Either way fun video
And it still couldn't hold a candle to Spectacular Spider-Man.
I got the sense Hartman is much friendly with network types than the rest of them. Of course they all work for CN not Nick so that could be it
Why is Butch so based?
How would you even summarize JoJo as a whole in a bite-sized five minute video? Each part is more or less its own self-contained story that just happens to use characters and elements from other parts.
There a "1-Minute Lore for JoJo" video on Youtube already, and all it manages to cover is the backstory of The Pillar Men and Dio finding Kars' stone mask.
literally made by butch, so yes
Maybe it's a politics thing? Not to start a conservatives vs liberals debate but the tribalistic mentality between the two groups is insane.
Then again Hartman and McFarlane seem to be good buddies so eh.
I grew up with a dubbed a dubbed version of DP, which had no puns.
I remember it because of how awkward the characters talked when saying something that was originally a punchline but was turned in just a line. A lot of mid-sentence pauses.
What language?
He's more rich and successful than all of them put together even though he's put in only a fraction of the effort.
That and Hirsch just has an unpleasant attitude anyway. Do you think he would ever agree to participating on something that took the piss out of Gravity Falls with his ego? He'd probably say "Where's your cartoon hmm?" and block him or something similarly douchey.
Dutch
I thought English and Dutch were pretty similar languages? Then again Im dumb burger.
Has Butch commented on EGS yet?
>Butch's voice
Nice. I don't know why I didn't know he could voice act, it makes sense, he's made about a billion cartoons
They are similar but that doesn't mean the localization staff weren't just uncreative and boring.
>*Danny Phantom joke sound*
That made me giggle way more than it should have
I feel like artists are a very cliquey bunch. McCracken and Faust have their circle, Hirsh and Sugar have their circle, and Hartman has his circle, and while McCracken and Faust at least have their history to stand behind it feels like Hartman doesn't have that same comfort.
Now is not the best time to do things with that particular franchise.
He's got free time and is always looking for stuff about his cartoons. He's a real stand up kind of guy.
Not an excuse for making his cartoons unbearable to watch.
I'm glad she was shown if only briefly. If you hide the character you give that incident more power. It's best just to move on with things like normal.
The art is okay. Does he even write the shows?
did Hirsch block you /user/
I don't think he's a jerk. He just likes to have a lot of adoring fans on twitter but hasn't figured out that when you do that, people are going to say some weird shit to you. Instead of ignoring it or politely rebuffing people, he makes a whole thing of it. He's more Scarlett O'Hara than a Melanie Wilks who is what Rich Moore and Byron Howard (who have a lot more followers and so I can only imagine are bombarded by furry shit at all hours non-stop) are like on twitter. Always kind, saying the right thing when they can, and not saying anything when they can't
>So This is Basically videos continue to be based
why the fuck hasn't this dude turned out more of these.
If add some politics: that ghost who protected old snacks in school at S01E01 looks like Russia
P.S.: Russia tries to stay s*viet order in Eastern Europe and does not want any changes
You don't need to have a twitter to access someone's page. Actually, in the case of Hirsch, its better not to have one, since apparently you have to log out your account to access his page after he's blocked you for hurting his feefees. And yes, I've seen him being a huge ass to people, typically over things like politics or nitpicking his cartoon.
While I have not neccesarily a problem with Butch himself, he's really, really, REALLY forcing himself to become relevant again.
>the shooting was his design
We are but flies caught in his web
>Hartman's not relevant
What did you mean by this?
Guy has two cartoons airing and has been employed in the industry for, what, over two decades now? nuFOP and Bunsen might not be the talk of the town but they still bring him in easy money.
It's not like he's struggling to get a cartoon on the air or something and needs to make YT videos to eat and hopefully get a pilot picked up. Hartman has always been involved in the cartoon online community in various degrees.
Tell me Sup Forums, who is best girl and why is it Valerie?
Because Sam is sex on two legs with a shit personality.
Dani might have been best girl if she had more screentime,
Could Jazz have been best girl?
>tfw you would say Ember, but you can't mention her without someone bringing up Randy
>Implying they didn't plan this
I would say Jazz is best girl and definitely best sister of any cartoon by far. But Valerie x Danny will always be best ship.
Jazz is undoubtedly the best. If only they did more episodes with her (that are well written)
>DP was the most ambitious project he ever did. Actual world building and character arcs, characters meant to be cool, and not just goofy.
Whenever I read comments like this I wonder if I watched the same show as these people did, but DP was the same talk-loud one-dimensional comedy that Hartman always does.
Nah. It just means you have different tastes
Back to your Wonder Woman threads you emasculated numale.
its definitely not Valerie
The sad thing is that the right answer probably is Sam, that's how low quality the writing for females was in this show
Hirsch is 30 and is both childless and not in a relationship. Hartman is over 50, married, and fathers 2 grown-up daughters. Their attitude difference is night and day.
I tried asking him on twitter but he never responded. I think he knows but would rather keep quiet about it.
>emasculated numale
That's redundant.
Who's Randy?
GET ON THE GROUND
Unless you give him eleventy-quadtrillion dollars via Patreon in which case he will make a four minute long 'Welcome to' about Stream...
Maybe if we cram more money into his soulless money hole he will make more of the thing?
Or at very least purchase some art slaves to make the thing on his behalf...
NOT LIKE YOU CAN HIT SHIT ANYWAY
>Sam
Good lord, no. The girls in DP weren't the most well written bunch, but Sam was undoubtedly bottom of the barrel.
...
I'm pretty sure that Hirsch, McCracken and Faust are all buddy buddy with eachother and Sugar seems like she'd fit in with that sort of group too, if she's not actually a part of it already and I just missed it. But what little I know about Hartman makes him seem like he's been in the business a lot longer than any of them and belongs to a different circle, almost like he's a full generation above them. I wouldn't be surprised if among them he represents an oldschool with industry standards they're all actively trying to reject, if for no other reason than the nature of the evolution of the business.
He's about as involved with his shows as Matt Groaning is for The Simpsons these days.
