Reminder that we could've gotten a twelve forever or infinity train miniseries instead of this shit

reminder that we could've gotten a twelve forever or infinity train miniseries instead of this shit

Television is dead media

This looks super cosy though.

>we could've gotten
That's not how it works, you dingus.
They didn't arbitrarily decide to choose this over the other shows, they picked it for a particular reason (whether that be budget or target audience or whatever)

Even the taco shota mystery show was better than this shit.

>Infinity Train never ever
>Villainous never ever
>KND sequel never ever
>Garbage shows that no one wanted will be picked up at random
>Teen Titans go is eternal

What monster allowed this to happen

How do you know we won't be getting a IT miniseries.

>How do you know we won't be getting a IT miniseries.
Because we already had one in 1990

do you honestly think it still has a chance nigga

>Garbage shows that no one wanted will be picked up at random
I remember there being huge hype for OK KO when the pilot leaked.

Let it air first, jeez. Give it a chance.

>UG took 4 years to be a show
>OK KO took 4 years to make a show
>IT has barely been around for less than a year
What makes you think it won't?

Someone here made a theory that CN is making more shows that appeals to younger kids, and this look like something that would be on Nick Jr, so it makes sense.

Didn't people say the same thing about AT?

In both those cases, the shows had popped up in a previous format (Uncle Grandpa had an episode in Secret Mountain Fort Awesome and OK KO had those online stuff)

the fact that they aired the pilot on tv at 7 fuckin' am really makes me doubt

Who really cares about that?
What matters is online visibility and IT made a huge splash when it leaked on the web.

So did Twelve, look where that ended up.

What the fuck is this shit?

Again, look at the previous two examples. Hell, AT was floating around the web since 2006, wasn't showcased on TV until 2008, and wasn't picked up until 2010.
Cartoon production takes forever is what I'm getting at.

>twelve forever or infinity train
both those sucked though and this did better in screenings

In my infinite film school knowledge, I diagnose this as Cartoon Network's experiment with easing into a younger demographic. CN was always a channel for the 7-11 age range, while this honestly looks 4-7. They're trying to do this because entertainment options are splintering at earlier ages and the strategy of airing Teen Titans Go to keep lowest common denominator attention is probably fading hard.

Does anyone else think it looks better in the thumbnail?

I don't see what's so bad about this though

>and the strategy of airing Teen Titans Go to keep lowest common denominator attention is probably fading hard.
It is. CN's ratings have plummeted across the board for all shows, and its most popular shows are lucky to hit viewership of 1 million on premier night while most of its shows get in the 600-800k range. Just about 5 years ago, viewership dipping below 1 million would have been a sign of cancellation, and now its most popular fucking shows are struggling that. They need to abandon the TTG strategy but they keep pushing it for whatever reason.

Because nowadays companies don't focus on quality, they focus on lowering costs. TTG is cheap as fuck to produce, so they go that route, regardless of the consequences.

That legitimately looks like some sort of Bad Deviantart-tier Furry comic that's about to really turn into a horror show in three pages.

I think it looks cute.

Are you the same guy who started OK KO shitposting, but now that that's aired have moved on to Summer Camp?

Where is the porn?
