never forget

Revolutionary for when it came out, what it influenced but as far as actually being watchable nowadays there aren't really very many episodes I'd want to sit through. Ren's Cousin is about it and that's only because it includes the series highlight, Ren's monstrous shitfit when he comes home from work and sees all his stuff desecrated.

I really enjoy the space episodes.

What about Space Madness? That one always makes me crack up.

the one where ren comes home from work and utterly looses it after his idiot brother and stimpy ruined everything

also stimpy's fan club was a work of art

I honestly don't remember that episode too much. Same with a lot of the episodes really, Ren & Stimpy in my memory is mostly the odd moments that punctuated the series. It almost doesn't have punch lines in the traditional sense, stuff like the horse guy answering the door to buy rubber nipples and he's holding a walrus hostage. Or the Pope getting kidnapped and saved by Powdered Toast Man (who rides on the guys ass). Ren beating the shit out of George Liquor while Stimpy begs him not to. It's like Aqua Teen Hunger Force or any other number of Adult Swim shows a decade before they were even a thing, anti-humor before it became popular. Now that I think about it though another really good episode was the one where Stimpy makes his own cartoon. Strange strange show.

Posting because it's some of the best voice acting I've ever heard in a cartoon mixed with some of the most violent imagery a children's show has ever allowed on television:

How come you never see porn of them?

John K has drawn plenty.

Can Nickelodeon bring it back or does John have to approve?

The games era was better than the spumco era. FIGHT ME!

Best episodes: Sven Hoek, Stimpy's Fan Club, Stimpy's Invention
Worst episodes: Forgetable post-Spumco ones.
Favorite moments: Anytime a character freaks out.

I've actually come across it by accident on e621 a number of times. I didn't really enjoy it though. R&S is the kind of show that has no appeal for me whatsoever in that regard.

I once masturbated to Sody Pop riding Jimmy the retard boy. No regrets.

Sup Forums would rather bitch about John K. Than talk about Ren and Stimpy.

the only thing i remember from this show is the happy happy joy joy song

My dad had a bunch of VHS tapes with Ren & Stimpy episodes. Really liked them as kid.
The episodes were Ren freaked out were the best. Stimpy's eye language was also very funny.

Still one of my favorite cartoons.

>best episodes
Anything from the first couple seasons is great. The later seasons were less consistent, but still had good episodes. Some favorite episodes are Space Madness, Untamed World, Rubber Nipple Salesmen, and The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen.
>worst episodes
The first one to come to mind is Reverend Jack Cheese, but I honestly don't remember it well.
>favorite moments
Nurse Stimpy, when all the neighbors and Mr. Horse are looking in the window.
Ren's ice cream bar in Space Madness.
The Crocostimpy.

Fuck you.

While the Spumco era doesn't have that much, what it has is brilliant. The Games era has a few gems mixed in amongst the crap, and most of those gems were started at Spumco. APC is underrated.

APC is awful. What are you talking about?

Onward and Upward=bad
Altruists=bad
Naked Beach Frenzy=good
Ren Seeks Help=great
Stimpy's Pregnant=great
Firedogs II=great

>yfw you were that one kid whose parents let you watch the show.

>his parents cared enough to monitor what he watched

My Dad literally walked in on a nine year old me watching South Park. He asked if the show was appropriate for me to watch, I told him no. He wandered off to drink.

My parents both loved Ren & Stimpy and would watch with me.

> being that one kid who legitimately thought the show was a piece of shut and completely overrated

>tfw your parents let you watch Ren&Stimpy, Beavis&Butthead, and South Park.

I must've watched Spumco era Ren & Stimpy three times in the last two weeks.

>Best episodes
Honestly, any from the Spumco era, but favorites are probably Space Madness, Robin Hoek, Stimpy's Invention, Untamed World, Big House Blues (probably my favorite, it has some great drawings in it), Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen, Stimpy's Fan Club.
>Worst Episodes
A lot of the Games era ones, but there's still a handful of good ones. Goddamn, I wish the Spumco age went on a little longer.
>Favorite moments
Ren's freak out in Stimpy's Fan Club is probably my favorite. Or ANY time Ren freaks out.

Oh...what I'm going to do to you...

>Ren Seeks Help
The punch line with the psychiatrist shouting "I'M A GODDAM HORSE" was funny but the rest of the episode is a drag and gruesome

>Stimpy's Pregnant
NO! Just fucking no!

I watched Beavis and Butthead, Duckman and South Park as a child because but parents taught all cartoons were for kids and just drowned what they were saying when in the room with me
They gave me the "user, why are you still watching cartoons at 15" talk when they saw me watching more South Park, FMA and Cowboy Bebop

>Onward and Upward=bad

>He doesn't like dining in high-class environment on snot, phlegm and puke

Get a load of this pleb.

It is shit

John K. Did nothing wrong.

I'm glad a lot of the production music they use is on Youtube.
