Hank pym is a wife beater

>hank pym is a wife beater
When will this meme end

Didn't he hit his wife though?

Yeah, once under stress, and Janet manipulated a mentally ill man to marry her

He slapped her once. Open hand. Parker and Richards have done that to their wives too.

Jan's just the only one to ever get a black eye from it.

Yeah, we all know Reed is the real asshole.

when he stops beating her

who is this? context?

>beating women is bad
When will THIS meme end?

Once. And i'm 90% sure it was written as evil scientist megalomaniacal gesticulating and when he turned around she was much closer than he anticipated.

Newfag get out

I want a Hank Pym movie that has this scene

Once, you say?

I now want a Hank Pym movie with this scene too.

...

ReviewBrah

He's an odd but charming dude that does fast food reviews in YouTube. His channel is TheReportofTheWeek

When he stops beating his wife.

The son learns from the father.

Context. This looks like he's going on a heroic sacrifice and doesn't want her following.

Yeah, whining wife beating apologists need to shut the fuck up. Pym needs to change to the new identity of BeatWife, whose powers are activated by beating his wife. He travels the multiverse finding versions of his wife to beat, as well as surrounding himself with clones and robots of his wife to hit when he feels like it, which is all the time.

Now we only need a panel of Vision hitting a girl to complete the family tradition

That's EXACTLY what I told the cops!

It's a side effect from constantly working with pimp articles.

...

You see how she's dressed? She's asking for it.

That's the correct context, it just retroactively became funny.

kek

Doesn't look like he's got it in him. In his solo book, when he was angry with his new wife for covering up several deaths, Vision smashed up his house rather than hit her.

>wife beater
>negative connotation

So, he's every bit of a pathetic disappointment as Harry Osborn?

Is that why Pymtron didn't even seem to care about what Hydra have done to him?

it's what he's best known for
even more so than whatever dna thing he rediscovered after mr fantastic discovered it first

Nah, he was just sad because he had no more wives to beat.

This is a fun thread

Reviewbrah will never make me not laugh.

>it's what he's best known for

That's the problem. He's always been a bland, also-ran character and this is the only real memorable characteristic he has, so it always get brought up. Sure Peter Parker hit MJ that one time, but Spider-Man is such a strong character that there's a long, long list of traits people will think of before that comes up.

What character is Reviewbrah in Marvel or DC?
One above all doesn't count, though it is apt.

It's just funny because it was some comic-booky story and not any sort of realistic depiction of domestic abuse, but people still treat it like it was.

Pretty much no different than any other time a superhero harms another superhero.

Beating a woman or child os bad, hitting is not.

ok but Ultimate Pym was a legit wife-beater

Jan said he had hit her before when they first got together

...

It's not that, it's more that he doesn't have much solo material so he couldn't sustain the blow the way Spider-Man took one more day or the clone saga. He doesn't have a "status quo" to revert things to how they were for him. It's done him both good and bad.

>Ultimate Pym
Doesn't count. Everybody in the Ultimate Universe was an asshole.

Everybody but Peter Parker.

When he stops beating his wife.

>when Tony piped up about things being made uncomfortable because of the slap

Fuck, you'd think even as an AI, he'd still be a bit self-aware of all the worse shit Tony did since the slap rather than mouth off like a horse's ass.

Sure, he's programmed with Tony's assholish behavior, but everything he said just fell flat within that context.

Because every female ass kicking just falls out of the sky and is never provoked or deserved.
Way to push the buttons of your wife beater husband Jan, what the fuck did you think was going to happen?

Why is beign hank pym suffering?

Tony when on a date with Jan like right after the slap and he felt horrible about it

...

/r/ Peter beating his wife.

...

If you read the story you'd know that he was only attempting to save her, but was being put under the effects of a de-evolutionary ray.

Not sure if we should post it. This has been a fun thread, and that could ruin it.
