assuming none of the current ongoings get creative changes, I'll probably keep reading whatever I'm currently reading.

and the 3 new books depend on creative teams really.

nothing about this makes me want to drop books, but its not going to make me pick up anything I'm not currently already interested in either though.

>no creative teams announced

Literally who gives a fuck

Also homage covers are stale and uninspired

Why not rename X-Men Gold and Blue to just Uncanny X-Men and X-Men and give them their legacy numbers or whatever.

The only thing I'm interested in here is Renew Your Vows.

I understand it as you don't really want to change a book's title mid-series

but they're doing it to deadpool, totally awesome hulk, and she-hulk so....no clue really.

...

I'll make mine something else..

>renumbering the books into odd numbers instead of waiting for landmarks like Venom

I just farted.

No one cares, you dumb attention whore.

I'll just stick with DC, thank you.

I kind of find it funny that Alex Ross is still sticking with the purple costume color of early 60's Spider-Man issues, because Ditko outright said that was a color change by Stan (basically in the first issue of ASM, since the Fantastic Four guest-starred, Lee wanted Spider-Man to have a different shade of blue because his was too similar to the FF)

dialbforblog.com/archives/695/ditko4.html

>STEVE DITKO: "My original color combination was a warm, red-orange on the webbing section and a cool blue on the body parts. These colors made a nice contrast, they emphasized the webbing and added to the mystery mood. Spider-Man's blue was changed to a warm purple (it gets warmer, redder, in later issues, ruining the better contrast and mood)." (Steve Ditko, The Comics, v.12 #11, Nov. 2001)

dialbforblog.com/archives/695/ditko5.html

>Ditko said in THE COMICS, v.12 #11, "Spider-Man's cool blue was removed because the color blue was "owned" by the guest stars costume color." In other words, Spidey couldn't have a "cool blue" uniform because the Fantastic Four had cool blue uniforms.

...

Moon Knight is really the only one I legit give a shit. MAYBE Spider-Man/Deadpool depending on whether Joe Kelly is still writing.

Going by the "Don't Get Excited" route

Nothing changes, just like every other new yearly status quo. Might pick up Spirits of Vengeance, Two-in-One, and Moon Knight.

I actually just started reading Slingers was a little disappointed they only lasted 12 issues. So I'm actually kinda excited for that. Moon Knight sounds like they're going to keep beating the mental illness horse and keep fucking bringing back his brother Randall when Countdown to Dark was all he ever should have gotten.
I have very little faith in Sipirts of Vengeance being good. Everything else is just more of the same bland shit.

>You demanded it, we listened!
Oh fuck off, Marvel

Get the impression of obnoxious enthusiasm, like they're trying way to hard to sell you on it

>>· Heroes fighting villains

Meanwhile X-Men Blue and Gold will cross with each other, just as Champions with Avengers will, where heroes fight among themselves.

Yeah I'll keep pulling GOTG and Ultimates, nothing else really interests me.

Marvel has always been like that. Overly sensationalist. Stan Lee started that.

>Yeah I'll keep pulling GOTG and Ultimates
>and Ultimates
welp

>Spider-Man #234
I know at least one user, who is getting ultratriggered.

Wait it's not cancelled is it?

...

New Moon Knight incoming

NICE.
Title is also promising. I wonder who will write it.

user, you need to sit down...

>The Newer Mutants

don't know why it reeks of Poochie to me

Well, how ecstatic would you be if it's Jim Zub?

Marvel's really intent on not showing the creative teams. Either because they're embarrassed that they're obviously the current teams. And/or they're embarrassed that they couldn't get anyone new but Priest.

Looks like it.

Not to the extent this has been. It makes Stan Lee's hype look subdued.

I am starting to think Marvel is putting shitty artists on X-Men to purposely get people to stop buying the books.

Bad art is a linewide problem.

Eh...
Please, tell me he's not.
I'm not against him, but...

Maybe MK can make the miracle? I mean, at worst, a MK run is always average, historically.

I want to believe.
I'm not reading uncanny avengers...
yet. I don't know what I'm going to come across with him.

>Moon Knight
>crazy runs in the family

They're gonna beat the "muh DiD" horse to death, and then have him replaced by his previously unknown (black) daughter.

>Iron Man
>the search for Tony Stark

Doom will be SO IMPRESSED with Riri, they will find Tony, he'll be SO IMPRESSED with Riri as well, and Doom will become an Iron Man villain.

Spirits of Vengeance, Punisher & Deadpool don't sound too bad. I dropped Thanos way back, and Lemire's left, but dunno.

All the rest sound shit.

>They're gonna beat the "muh DiD" horse to death, and then have him replaced by his previously unknown (black) daughter.

Maybe it's a retake in Marc and his brother's story, adding to the work Lemire was doing about shaping his personal history. The Marvel motive for this relaunch is legacy: Marc doesn't have one, but he sure can have a family history behind.

Looks like I'm down to one Marvel title then.

About the only thing I'm excited for is Duggan's Infinity Quest storyline. And maybe Two-in-One depending on the creative team.

Avengers #672

>Avengers 1-503
>New Avengers vol1 1-64
>Avengers vol4 1-34
>Avengers vol5 1-44
>All-New, All-Different Avengers 1-15
>Avengers 1-11

Ok, I guess

FUCKPISS

Shit

Look at all those titles that returned to legacy numbering just in time to cashgrab on expensive milestones.

So is ultimates cancelled? Because if so, then there's nothing left at marvel that I want to read.

Spirits of Vengeance. Unless it is all about passing the torch to the lame Mexican kid with the car.

No Ultimates? That sucks ass. Other than keeping around Cho as Hulk and bringing in Spirits of Vengeance. I do not see anything really amazing.

Why?

>lame Mexican kid with the car.
Shit taste detected.

>Doom will become an Iron Man villain.

Worth it to get him disconnected from the F4.

Captain Marvel #125

Ms. Marvel 1-23
Ms. Marvel vol2 1-50
Captain Marvel vol7 1-17
Captain Marvel vol8 1-15
Captain Marvel vol9 1-10
Captain Marvel vol10 1-9

But almost none of them are close to milestones, you dumb drone.

Because Duggan is a good writer and bringing back a bunch of cosmic stuff that's been ignored for years.

>“MARVEL LEGACY #1 isn’t simply a history lesson,” says SVP and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort. “Rather, it’s the starting gun to a bevy of mysteries, secrets, and revelations that will reverberate across the Marvel Universe in the weeks and months to come! So, "no colossal crossovers for a while" died a quick, ugly death, huh? Seriously, I want to read Marvel, but in the last twelve months, we've had Civil War 2 (which SUCKED), IvX (which was bland and boneheaded), and Secret Empire, which has been meh at best - and now we're using that as a launchpad to Legacy. And Legacy is itself a setup for ANOTHER relaunch, according to recent reports.

Marvel: Don't like what you're reading? Come back next week, it'll be all-new!

Make mine DC.

Is there any rhyme or reason on why some titles, like Generation X, went to legacy numbers while others, like Uncanny Avengers, didn't?

Try reading their books instead of just events, dumb namefag.

Uncanny Avengers has no legacy numbers. Think a little.

Go back to watching Fast and the Furious faggot.

Looks like I'm down to zero marvel titles. Way to kill my interest in marvel, Alonso.

So RYV is getting a timeskip?

Anyone else here really fucking hates this?

What does that have anything to do with Robbie? Is your entire problem about the car?

I can see picking up a few more if there are creative changes, or more likely dropping something.

I really wish Marvel would just embrace the mini-series already. Their universe is ruined and taking the best years of artists careers and wasting them on every other issue of some hot garbage is just cruel.

>Try reading their books
Oh you mean such gems like Squirrel Girl, Mockingbird, Riri Williams, Venom, Moongirl, Miles, America Chavez, Angela, Hellcat and Gwenpool?

Dc Rebirth is gonna continue kicking their ass

You mentioned several cancelled books, drone.

I do, but then marvel has been doing a lot of things that I hate recently.

No. I don't hate it. I hate Spider-Man in general now. I used to be a huge fan. Marvel took that away from me though, systematically over the last 10 years.

Was anyone else expecting a full-blown relaunch with renumbered titles, new creative teams, and a return to form for the big Marvel heroes?

I'm okay with the young legacy heroes, but the fact that we are in the climate that we are for superheroes and THIS is the Avengers team we have makes me sick.

I hope Slott will be off Spider-Man

>Mayor Fisk
Based Kingpin

>>“MARVEL LEGACY #1 isn’t simply a history lesson,” says SVP and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort. “Rather, it’s the starting gun to a bevy of mysteries, secrets, and revelations that will reverberate across the Marvel Universe in the weeks and months to come! Wait, didn't they do this with Original Sin where SECRET MYSTERIES were revealed?

Not in the short term, casual readers will eat these covers up and Marvel will declare Legacy a victory.

Oh so only their currently published books matter? Good to know. Every story ceases to exist after Wednesday, guys. Pack it up. We're done here.

No. Though that is a huge set back; as is his character design, his cliche origin story, boring story telling, and shitty art. Reyes is just a horrible character that is Ghost Rider in name only. There is a reason people dislike the character and ignored the book; it was not because he was Hispanic. It was because it sucked all around. That is without even going into how he was not technically 'Ghost Rider'.

Try actually following the conversation you were replying to and you'd see yes, we were talking about their current publications.

>shitty art
Stopped reading right there.

is it still the same batch of bad writers?

if not, then no

wait if YES then NO

Why can't Marvel just get a load of writers from 2000AD and tell them to go wild? That's what you're supposed to do when you're getting stale.

This guy just said "books". Not "currently published books"

And the person he was replying to was talking about the current state. Please, read the entire convo.

Unless Marvel Two-in-One gets Ewing, then all I'm seeing is one less book on my pull list and nothing to replace it with.

Good. Facts hurt. Better to not read them to keep from suffering cognitive dissonance. You are in the minority kid, otherwise the book would not be dead and gone. Bet you thought New 52 Lobo was better than the original as well huh? KEK Casuals.

Haven't you learned by now that marvel is the house of recycled ideas.

Could someone figure out how they arrived at these numbers?

Oh fuck, there were twists in a previous event and in the current one too!

Stop reaching.

>But almost none of them are close to milestones, you dumb drone.
>Amazing Spider-Man #789
>Avengers #672
>Cable #150
>Daredevil #595
>Deadpool #287
>GotG #146
>Invincible Iron Man #593
>Mighty Thor #700
>Spectacular Spider-Man #297
All those are close to either their 00s or 50s milestones and can easily reach them in a year at most. Many of those titles will also be double-shipping.

>Spider-Man #234

>>· The set-up for 53 Marvel Universe series
What's the 53rd book?

What's Moon Knight doing there?

People have been doing that in this thread

>Dcotor Strange #381
>#381
WAT
>Monsters Unleashed #7
didn't that shit flopped right out of the gate?

>My opinions are facts
Kek, such unrepentant autism. Post a bad looking page faggot, we'll wait.

Not really
