Eleanor & The Egret Storytime

I just read the second and third issue and why is this so slept on? Written by John Layman (Chew) and art by Sam Keith (The Maxx).

>why is this so slept on?

Sup Forums only reads their capes.

That fucking face on Eleanor in the first panel...Jesus Christ.
Yeah, Sam Keith has stopped giving a fuck, definitely

What is it about.

A woman named Eleanor and a egret, obviously.

The plot, smartass.

Read and find out, user.

It is not his work anymore.

Yeah, there isn't one, is there? No wonder no one gives a shit.

You could have read this by now.

...

Not him, but I want to know what it is about before wasting time on it.

You can't complain about nobody giving a fuck for the book, if you just ignore the people who are showing interest.

it's about an art theif with a magical bird.

>theif

How long does it take to read 33 pages?

Longer than reading a couple sentence synopsis.

Thought this thread was going to die in like five mins whoops sorry

...

...

It's about a duo of a girl and her pet who hates a popular artist and they fight each other

Thanks for the dump.

No problem. Anybody else really enjoyed this or do I just need to read more comics?

Bonus stuff.

ellies cute the styles their, cant compare it really

that text looks out of place.

I like this cover. Reminds me of Last Unicorn.

I liked it but I it's a pretty niche distributor so it won't be noticed as much.

I know my local store has problems getting it in despite having other aftershock but Aftershock seems great from what I seen. Like Image but without half the books being so called SJW books with transgender sex workers.

My LCS had this featured as their "Featured Comic of The Week" when #1 came out. They had it on a little plastic rack right next to the register, so anyone who bought something HAD to notice it.

Can I have zippy links pls?

After Shock is a very new publisher with some promising stuff but it's still getting off the ground. Dreaming of Eagles was great if you're a history buff, but the rest of their established series are eh. Insexts is like Saga with homicidal lesbians and Animosity started strong but is getting stale. Jimmy's Bastards might be good, but Egret is great.

Look it up retard.
