What is your favorite relationship and why is it Vision and the Scarlet witch?
>Love is for souls, not bodies

>It's a 'two outcasts find love with each other and don't have to be alone anymore' story.
>It's an 'android falls in love and learns how to be human' story.
>It's a 'girl defies her family, society, bigotry and terrorists to love and marry a man they don't consider to even be a person' story.
>They're so devoted to each other, to love someone that much, and be loved back so much in return, that's a lot of the appeal.
>They both grow as people and become better, stronger people together than they ever were apart.

At least the people working on the MCU get it, no-one working on the comics seems to.

As great as the vision series was, Tom King really messed up the idea of Vision and Scarlet witch in making it seem doomed from the start.
Bendis is also responsible for ruining their relationship to the point that it'll take a long time to mend the gap between the two characters

You'd better delete this thread pal, if you know what's good for you.

Souls dont exist. Even if they dud robots would be evil under jesus rules.

Stan Lee is a athetist catholic.

Souls?

They exists in Marvel, Jack Kirby is God, Dr. Doom released his mother's soul from hell

>what is Ghost Rider
>what is Doctor Strange
>what is Magik
>what is Doctor Doom

>taking Pym's word
>at a point where he was crazier and more depressed than usual

The nigga can't even keep his marbles straight. I'd rather take the word of the guy who's master of both science and magic, thank you very much.

...

Who the fuck listens to Hank Pym

>avengers shit
zzzzz

>Fictional universe
>Has aliens
>Has alternate dimensions.
>Has Magic
>Has races evolved from humans, like Atlanteans, Inhumans, Eternals, Deviants, Mutants.
>Has sentient A.I life.
>Has people gaining superhuman powers from radiation, instead of just dying.
>Has godlike beings from other dimensions, and near-omnipotent cosmic entities.
>REEEEEEEEEEE I don't believe in souls, this fictional universe that has all of the above can't have concepts derived from religions in it!
>Athiests ruin everything. Yet again.

The Marvel Universe has been shown to have a Heaven, various Hells, angels, demons, God, and various Devils. Any superhero or villain who's seen any of that and still calls themselves an atheist is just being a retard.

user, don't act like a baiting faggot.
What would your parents say about your behavior?

John Byrne broke the entire concept of Vision as being as human as anyone else, despite his synthetic body, and most readers, writers, and editors ever since have struggled to see him as a person. Thanks to Byrne, and also thanks to the works of Gerard Jones, Busick, and Remender, there are generations who think "Wonderman is 'the real Vision', he and Wanda are meant to be together", and Vision's mind is an exact copy of his.

>two characters are nothing alike
>one is a copy of the other
>makes perfect sense

A lot of time and effort has been put into ruining this pairing long before King's take on their romance, or before Waid had Vision delete his emotions in front of Wanda, or before Bendis had Wanda kill Vision. But that is a clear trend for making them do awful, traumatic things to each other, like someone at Marvel really dislikes them.

Even so, despite times they've attempted to convince themselves otherwise, neither of them has ever really managed to truly, permanently get over each other. There's always the sense they could work things out if they just tried to talk it out, and if the world would just leave them alone for a while.

...

Make way for the superior love machine.

>tfw you got into comics too late to enjoy prime Vision/Wanda stuff

god damn you Byrne you autistic fuck.

this is violence

...

...

>Tfw we'll never get vision and Wanda together ever again in comics

Red Tornado married a civilian, not the DC Best Girl, and he adopted a child. It's less weird, more mundane, and not as much fun. And because he's 'just a robot', he gets wrecked even more than Vision does.

Tigra and Hank Pym was great in the brief moment before Marvel forgot she existed and the writers made Hank go full villain because all they know about him is he hit his wife once, 40 years ago.

>god damn you Byrne you autistic fuck.

>Bob Harras' Avengers spends years reparing Vision, then finally starts groundwork for getting them back together in the mid 1990s.
>Harras leaves the book, the writers who follow after him keep going with a slow build to a reunion.
>Then Avengers get rebooted in Heroes Reborn universe.
>Rob Liefeld and Walt Simonson both on board with doing a Heroes Reborn version of Wanda/Vision.
>Heroes Reborn ends before they really get anywhere.
>Avengers return to Marvel Universe for Heroes Return.
>Busick/Perez Avengers breaks them again so they can do Wonderman/Wanda.
>Five years of this.
>Busick finally ends it before leaving the book.
>Geoff Johns takes over Avengers, knows what's important and starts building to a Wanda/Vision reunion from his first storyline.
>Fails to focus on them much after his opening issues, leaves the book without clarifying if they're back together.
>Priest's Captain America & The Falcon book immediately grabs Wanda to use as a love-interest for Steve Rogers.
>Bendis takes over Avengers, has Wanda become insane, Vision is killed in her attack on the Avengers.
>Bendis writers House of M event, Wanda gives the Avengers and X-Men their 'perfect world'. Vision doesn't even seem to exist there.
>Vision stays dead while Young Avengers introduces new teenaged Vision.
>Wanda is amnesiac, Bendis tries to make Hawkeye/Wanda happen.
>Wanda becomes pariah to mutants and X-Men readers hate her.
>Heinberg writes Avengers Children's Crusade, tries to rehabilitate Wanda by blaming Doom for it all, and revealing Hawkeye slept with a robot.
>X-Men fans refuse to start blaming Doom instead.
>Bendis ignores Childrens Crusade entirely, has everyone still blaming Wanda, and makes several more low-energy attempts to make Hawkeye/Wanda a thing.

>Bendis brings back Vision, unable to come to terms with being killed by Wanda, and rejecting her at the start of AvX.
>Mid-AvX, Vision is still angry with Wanda, but when he gets injured, only Wanda cares.
>Vision saves Wanda from faling to her death, carries her unconscious body around, seems to be moving past his anger.
>Vision then gets re-injured off-panel, does not appear for the rest of AvX.
>After AvX, Wanda goes to Uncanny Avengers team, no Avengers book is using Vision.
>Remender announces he's adding more characters to Uncanny Avengers roster, including people who care about Wanda.
>He adds Wasp and Wonderman, repeats the Wanda/Wonderman pairing, does an interview where he claims Wonderman is 'the real Vision'.
>Vision appears in an Avengers annual, then Avengers AI, he and Wanda have no interaction. He seems to get over his anger, goes to visit Wiccan, we never see them meet again.
>In the months leading up to the Age of Ultron movie, Vision is added to Remender's Uncanny Avengers team with Wanda, he is now angry with her again.
>Vision falls in love with an android woman he just met on the High Evolutionary's planet, and they have lots of babies.
>Vision then leaves them to rescue Wanda and return to Earth with her.
>Remender finishes the book with Vision in love with Wanda but she only wants him as a friend, and is in love with Wonderman.

Why do people still read marvel I mean FUCK

>Age of Ultron movie teases the Wanda/Vision romance, the comics give us nothing.
>After Secret Wars, Wanda has left the Avengers. Waid takes over the main Avenger book, has Vision delete his emotions in front of Wanda.
>King's Vision book gives Vision a new family.
>Robinson's Scarlet Witch book mentions Vision a few times, but he never appears, Wanda never really talks about how she feels about him now.
>Civil War movie shows the MCU is definitely doing the Wanda/Vision romance.
>The comics react with an issue of the Vision solo book that makes the Wanda/Vision marriage seem doomed from the start.
>Secret Empire puts Wanda and Vision on the same Avengers team, but she is possessed by Chthon, he is being controlled by a Hydra computer virus.
>After Secret Empire, Vision is still in Waid's Avengers, Wanda will be in Zub's Uncanny Avengers, looks like Wonderman will be there too.

How can this be the best Marvel romance, yet also be so much suffering?

this is the most retarded shpping, it equals the same amout as marrying and fucking a nintendo 3d's with a date sim inserted.

fucking autism.

>When you fail to understand Vision so badly, Brevoort would probably hire you to write him.

...

Do you think a Vision/Scarlet Witch romance movie would work in the MCU?

Vision will die in Infinity War, so I don't think so.

It certainly could work, and would fit with how the MCU has mixed superhero movies with other genre elements. There's more to work with than most of the other Avengers who haven't had solo movies.

Man, fuck that issue of Vison that tried to make the marriage fucked from the beginning. Book was great and all, but damn

Vision has to lose the Mind Stone for the plot to happen. He doesn't have to die. Him dying and staying dead would be the least interesting outcome of "what happens if he loses the Mind Stone?"

I'm wondering what the deal is with set photos of human vision.
Is it an image inducer or is that what happens to vision without the stone?

It's probably just a disguise he's using, although "he loses the Mind Stone, somehow becomes a powerless human" could make for an interesting story.

Does anyone think they could reveal that Vision remotely hacked the Raft security to let Steve and Bucky break in and free the other Avengers? Or are they just going to not explain how two guys from the 1940s managed to do that?

good enough for a no prize for me

>Wanda, I...

What is that pic from?

That's a kind of unsetteling face. Sauce?

>what is Magik
A subhuman slav. She never had a soul to begin with.

Hell never not be a fucking robot. I hate this bitch. Her son is imaginary and so is his hulk fuckboy. She's a god damned super villian and is going to end up brining the cancer verse in.

Can Vision even fuck?

Him and Wanda could fuck, but no kids

It was okay. Drama-y for old school stuff. Current Vision is a gross shit and should never be around Wanda or really women period.

It's the worst pairing that's why.

could be a dream maybe? one of those black orders can do that i think?

Go home, Cyclops. You're drunk. And you're supposed to be dead.

Kubert's pencils from late in Waid's All New All Different Avengers

It's almost like people within Marvel really don't like him, and have spent years trying to make readers feel the same.

>Love is for souls, not bodies

This line especially I think will have deep significance in Infinity War.

>it's another "whites are only Anglos, Meds are Euroniggers and Russians are subhumans" episode

The reason Byrne was so poisonous was he made Wanda mad and tied Wanda's love to Vision as "evidence" of said madness.

Bendis then cemented that by making craziness the entire basis of Wanda's character, further mocking Vision's humanity.

I love how the Paprika scene in Civil War shows their relationship as very normal.

Victor Shade
Vision has created a holographic persona so he can be with Wanda.

The clothes he wore in Civil War were actually just holographic so its not hard to imagine he has evolved that ability.

I think that would be a neat reveal.

I would love a Vision & Scarlet Witch movie. It could be the most fun genre-mashup Marvel movie.

> Cosmic and Mystic elements of Marvel universe mixed with normal everyday.
> Wanda and Viz romantic drama
> Otherworldly fun
> Villains Chthon and Kang/Ultron being evil shits.
> Breaks from the Marvel formula.

Vision survives in the gauntlet, enabling Wanda to channel her Chaos power into the gauntlet, fucking Thanos up.

Carol and Wanda

Ororo and Forge

> While movie audiences thrill to Wanda and Vision, Zub and Brevoort's will probably be pairing Wanda with Simon, boring comic readers into a coma.

> Feige announces phase four Vision & Scarlet Witch movie.

> I would love to see Brevoort's fucking face if that happens.

Probably Batman/Catwoman or Artemis/Kid Flash (YJ), but I also have a huge boner for the Batman/Wonder Woman romance that was in te animated Justice League, kinda sad they never went deeper into it.

> Pymtron doesn't even say anything to Vision in SE #4.

Waid and Spencer have his daughter talk like an 80s sci-fi robot.

Who is the blackhaired kid.

This.

Go home, Byrne.

His adopted daughter Traya.

Quints of truth.

> Breaks from the Marvel formula.
That's how you know it won't happen.

They are cute.
