WTF

What? That really never happened to you?

Merry Christmas

The fuck is even going on here?

Nobody drew better than Joe Kubert.

I wonder if it's a reference to a specific issue?
I have no idea who the pink bug guy is.

thank you very much op, that's pretty cool

Good stuff, OP. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you OP, fucking awesome thread

You know what I just figured out? All these pictures purposefully take place at different cultural landmarks in America and around the world.

This is the most positive reaction I've ever gotten to a thread.

>Wally Wood JSA
hnnng

I didn't even know Power Girl was a member of the classic JSA.

She debuted in '76, probably the same year the art for the calendar was made.

Wouldn't that liquify Lex's skull?

I'm going to have to track those down for research purposes.

x men fag here, who are these guys? cool image

they remind me of some thing hal jordan became after emmerald twilight, but cant really remember

The guy in red is Deadman, a high-wire trapeze artist who is killed and brought back to life as a ghost who can possess the living.

The guy in green is the Spectre, the manifestation of God's wrath on the world. He has incredible powers and uses them to sadistically punish the guilty.

The whole Levitz run where PG and Huntress join the Earth-2 JSA are in 2 TPBs from a few years ago. Out of print but with a little work, you can track them down. There's also Levitz's Huntress backup stories from Wonder Woman in a trade from the same time, too.

There will never, ever be a better person at drawing Superman than Curt.

agreed

I love it.

Where'd you find these?
These scans must be of the original art.
No way a calendar in the 70s would have this kind of print quality.

I want more glorious art from that era.
Such rich colors.
The shading is this is my favorite style (pre-digital).

should've been the april image

>some thing hal jordan became after emerald twilight
That would be The Spectre, Hal was the second or third host for him.

Read Gotham by Midnight, it was about the guy before Hal running a paranormal division of the Gotham PD for a bit.

I've run across them before just googling Aquaman or whatever. There's still copies floating around out there.

Now if someone would just scan Marvel's toilet paper...

what is Mera doing?

>Guy shoots a flare gun of some sort
>Plas is fast enough to strtch form presumably a tiny cart handle to something long and large enough to wrap around around 30% of the Eiffel Tower which should be a few Km away
Do you know how fucking crazy that is? To stretch from what could be three feet to god knows how long?

In what should be a fucking second as well. second too?

This is Flash with the power of other Speed Force users tier.

Maybe Plas has access to the Stretch Force?

Man, Captain Marvel by Kurt Schaffenberger! Back when Cap was still having coocoo-bananas kid-oriented adventures. Hmm...Uncle Dudley has his mustache and RV, so this pic must be from when the Saturday morning series was running.

>an original story
Did they put an entire fucking comic on a role of toilet paper?

OH NO PETER PARKERS' CLASSMATES WERE IN THERE.

This is rad.

You get that book he finished before he died? Joe Kubert Presents?

I didn't even notice that.

It's '77 but it seems be references to events from '76. Plas fought The Snuffer in '76 and I'd be willing to bet Flash vs. Grodd is a nod to the '76 King Kong remake.

i don't recognize these villains
