>Patton Oswald voicing a dead husband
That's kind of messed up.

>Patton Oswalt as Uncle Ben
Ewwwwww

Hey, Ryuji and Goro are working together again.

Joe confirmed for worst character.

>JOE QUESADA IS IN THE SHOW
SpidaFags BTFO

>Miles Morales is in this

>Joe Queseda

Oh fuuuuck you Quesada

If Uncle Ben is still alive after episode 1... this series will fail!

This look good, not a fan of the animation... but no synergy = win!

On one hand, I'm glad it's not Drake Bell. On the other, I'm sad it's not Keaton.

>>Lust is Gwen Stacy
I can dig it.

There's a teeny bit of synergy though.
Vulture is based on his classic outfit and his Homecoming get up.

I'm tired of them trying to shoe Miles into everything. News flash, he not not that good of a character. Worst spiderman ever.

>worried about Miles Morales
>completely ignoring Joe

>Anya Corazon

Neat, she's a qt.

They made their bed with Miles so now they have to lie in it.

Something about that Joe guy rubs me the wrong way...

Is he going to be a random drunk that warns Peter of the evils of marriage?

There's never going to a Spidey without nigger and nigger love interests again, is there?

I guess Spider-Man is dead to me now.

This is just a repackaged Ultimate Spider-man

His toys sold in the last season so it was a no brainer to keep him

All of the shorts aired in the UK. Uncle Ben is not in them, but it's implied he died in them.

Spider-Man has always had black friends and allies though.

>Miles Morales
Fuck off already

twitter.com/EstacionDisney/status/886037973837504512

I wonder how Drake is going to pay off his debt now. He's no longer Spidey and Nickelodeon isn't making any more Fairly Oddparents movies.

>Miles

>miles
Bendis please neck him already

Uh...I like Patton and all, but what?

>Joe Quesada
>as Joe
It's impressive how quickly this show died before it even started.

>But muh Donald Glover

>Joe is established as Peter's moral compass.
>Peter sees a beautiful young redhead in class.
>"Hey tiger...I'm Mary-Jane. You can call me MJ"
>Joe shows up, pulling Peter aside.
>"Look Peter, stay away from that girl. She's trouble."
>"Gee, thanks Joe. I'll never talk to her again."

>Multiple Spider-Persons
This is suppose to be Spider-Man at the beginning. You can't have Multiple Spiders running around when it's Spider-Man Year One. That's like making Batman Year One and making Damian the first Robin and Terry is Batman (2), it's stupid.

So Saitama is Harry Osborn.

>Joe tries to hook up Peter with his niece.
>It's Carlie Cooper.

Who the fuck is Joe Quesada?

Keaton is already Ant-Man in Avengers.

Yeah, but those black friends and allies weren't fucking annoying little snowflakes.

>Literally who

>Scott Menville
Can't stand him
>Johnny D
As the Jackal? That's an...interesting choice
>Quesadilla
why

>Laura Bailey
Dick Status: Muh

And Prompto is Peter.
With Lucina as Gwen to round it out.

>Miles
>Spider-Gwen
>Joe Quesada playing himself

It's shit. Burn it with fire.

>It doesn't work out. But don't worry. Principle Dan's daughter is available. Peter even looks past her dwarfism.

>all of you being surprised by Gwen, Miles, and Anya

This was revealed in the stock promo art. You all had months to get over it.

>anybody but josh keaton as spidey

not muh

I think Scott could work as Doc Ock if used a deeper version of his Red X voice.

If they're going with a younger Octavius, yeah...

>Josh Keaton
>Not Christopher Daniel Barns

Gwen should never be a surprise. And honestly it's fine as long as she never puts on that fucking costume and just stays normal, no powers Gwen Stacey.
Of course that means she'll be Spider-Gwen by the end of the first season.

>Mumen Rider is now Supaidaman
Pottery?

Robbie Daymond gonna be a good Peter Parker.

He's been one of my favorite new voice actors in the past couple of years. Liked him as Sorey in Tales of Zestiria, Gaelio in Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, Mumen Riden in One-Punch Man, and Akechi in Persona 5.

>Liked him as Sorey in Tales of Zestiria,

There's nothing likeable about that game.

>Patton and Joe

and Joe ruins another spider-man production with his shit

Hey I hate Zestiria too but I still think his voice acting for Sorey was good.

Speaking of pic related, I'd like to see the cartoons give Sam another go, especially after USM left such a bad impression.

He's also the best villain currently on Toonami.

>Laura Bailey as Gwen
I almost hope she dies early on, otherwise I'll have to watch all the episodes of this show just for her.

This is post Emma Stone Gwen Stacy time we're living in. She's not going anywhere.

You know what? Fuck Venom, fuck Doc Ock, fuck Green Goblin. Quesada is Spider-Man's true arch-nemesis. Who else has done more to destroy him?

>Joe Quesada as Joe

are you fucking serious.

>Jeter
>DiMaggio

Well they certainly got the New York thing down.

You know, I like parts of the idea but I hate the whole.

I like the idea of a show about the Spider family, but not one where Peter just got his powers. It rings too close to the Flash CW show where Kid Flash is only a few years younger than Barry.

> bad voice cast
> if you're going to cast Patton Oswalt he is clearly Doc Ock
> JOE QUESADA?!

If you ask me, the series should've been like the current comics/homecoming focusing on Miles being tutored by Peter (cough Batman Beyond cough).

You can have Miles meet the other spider heroes and befriend them along the way (has Silk been announced?) but the focus on a teenage Peter is really overdone.

If you do Miles, you can get Ganke and "muh synergy" with Ned.

The art style is ALMOST good too. If it had better backgrounds and better color depth (Spectacualr really knew how to use its colors), the series could look fantastic.

You know One More Day? The worse Spider-Man story of all time? The story that was so bad it ruined literally /every/ Spider-Man story that took place after it? The story that tanked the sales, of which ASM still hasn't recovered?

Joe is the asshole behind that story. All because he self inserted into the character and wanted to fuck his own daughter.

Okay I agree this isn't exactly an A or B list cast, but you better not be talking shit about Laura

>Batman Beyond
You just reminded me we almost had Spider-Man 2099 cartoon and now I'm pissed.

youtube.com/watch?v=dyWbIG8Qj6c

I dunno guys, I think it looks good

So, does this mean Drake Bell doesn't have a job anymore and he'll have to resort to playing for kid's birthday parties where he'll be booed off the stage with ice cream cake dripping off his face because none of the kids there know any of his songs and he refuses to risk jumping through the legal hoops to play any copyrighted music for fear of even more crippling debt, so he'll have to stoop so low as to busking in subways and street corners to make enough money to eat a cheap meal every other day and afford a plastic bag over his head to keep himself dry as he huddles over a sewage vent for warmth until he breaks down and starts selling his surprisingly still tight body to strange men just so he can sleep on something other than pavement?

Why is it always Miles? Just use Mayday, she actually makes sense as a legacy.

Hey they finally proved that it was Anya and not Mary Jane like some fucking idiots on this board thought.

Over and under says Joe is more than likely only going to voice a minor recurring character, like "Stan" in USM

>but the focus on a teenage Peter is really overdone.
Is Spider-Man: TAS the only cartoon where Peter doesn't start out in high school?
When did Peter being a teenager and just begining become a requisite for the cartoons?

I know they're going for the teenage thing but peter sounds too young.

I think Drake is still known enough that he can probably just get desperate 20-something girls to pay him to sit near them or something.

>use Mayday in a story where Peter is a teenager and active

Uhhhhhhhhhhh

Because
A. Marvel hates the thought of Peter growing up and starting a family.
B. They spent so much time hyping up Miles, if they were to pull out right now, there'd be a backlash.

because an adult peter parker who gets his ass kicked by life all the time and has to focus on bills and a regular job is fucking boring

also, no it's not, the MTV series tried that too

Another reboot already? Are you happy now Sup Forums?

Honestly I'm just overdone with any cartoon where Peter is either
> bullied by Flash Thompson
> Harry Osborn becomes the Green Goblin or... Venom...
> Peter meets Mary-Jane for the first time
> Gwen never died

Like imagine how cool it would be if this differed from the comics and Peter, an experienced Spider-Man comes face to face with a doppelganger of the one he lost (Gwen), who has the same exact powers as him.

Also I still want season 3 of Spectacular where Harry kills Gwen. This has been my dream for years.

Are you serious? The only reason people cared about Spiderman to start off with is that he's a superhero that has to deal with real life bullshit on top of the superhero bullshit.

so you want to start the story we see long after a bunch of important events have already started

that's a terrible way to build a new audience

Well known I'll give you, but is he still pretty?
Because if he tried using Josh's connections to set them us as an Owen Wilson-Vince Vaughn type duo or something, it could be a pretty good movie, and we'd get to see what Drake can do outside of Nickelodeon's grasp.

yeah, but how much of that translates to a fun cartoon series? You have to hit a balance with that, which is why they go with him being younger so often. Kids will relate to that more than "God, how will I ever make the rent"

I can't remember where I heard this but you find a new generation every 7 years.

When Spectacular ended, Ultimate aired nearly 3-4 years later.

Ultimate just ended a few months ago (I think I didn't watch it). They already have their audience - I don't even know why they're rebooting the series to be honest - but if they're going to start from the start I don't see why not time jump instead.

>I know! Lets make Miles a classmate of Peter!
They're REALLY trying to get people to like Miles, arent they? Shame he cant be forgotten like so many other classmates Peter had. Furthermore Im downright disgusted at Patton Oswald playing Uncle Ben

USM's audience has aged out and Homecoming just came out, bringing in new people interested in the property. So they're refreshing things.

It's actually rare when a property like this lasts so long. Stuff like BTAS and the DCAU are outliers.

as for time jumping, it's simple. Don't fucking set things after a bunch of stuff the audience doesn't know anything about. That's just fucking stupid.

Looking forward to the porn.
Of Joe x Gwen Stacy x Anya

60's Spider-Man
'81 Spider-Man
Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends
Spider-Man:TAS
Spider-Man Unlimited
MTV Spider-Man

If anything, high school Peter is a new phenomenon.

Y'all just hate Miles because he's black.

He's not even replacing Peter and you're still mad.

He's Poochie

No, that Alpha guy was closer to Poochie than Miles has ever been

> literally Batman Beyond

A massive time jump after a 3 season TV show where
> Bruce retired
> Dick is out of Bruce's life
> Joker died
> Tim Drake retired prematurely
> Bruce's company had a hostile take over

All of which are explained IN the series, but not before it.

Mystery of Batwoman, which confirmed the romance was written after Batman Beyond as well.

Your audience doesn't necessarily have to age out. Also I mentioned not putting the focus on Peter, but him as a mentor figure.

No it's because he's bland and has no personality or character development.

Im mad that a shitty character is being pushed this hard in media

youtube.com/watch?v=X814eTVbEyI

>Somewhat better character animations
>Absolute shit tier backgrounds

Anyways, Robbie's a good fit for Peter. He was good in FFXV and Persona 5.

Is Uncle Ben going to kill Aunt May?

If Miles has no personality, what personality does Peter have?

>inb4 salty Hisokafags

>Mumen Rider
Ah, so he understands JUSTICE

Depends on which point in the character's history. Unlike Miles he's actually had character development and his personality actually changed the older he got upon gaining more life experiences. You've gotta be more specific.
