Show us a lewd image of all and we'll talk

Bob is best father. If you mean in a taking care of his family kind of way.

Bob is the only good father

Fry

Bob
Homer is second. he screws up a lot but usually makes up for it.

>Bob
>Homer
>Cleveland
>Stan
>Peter
In that order.

Faggot

Bob easily. He's the only one whos not a total and complete moron.

I'd say from best to worst;

Bob
Cleveland
Homer
Stan
Peter

worth mentioning the gap between Stan & Peter is a pretty huge one(and there's a noticeable gap between Bob and Cleveland, if not as big), and if we were including Hank Hill, he'd probably be tied with Bob

Bob is the only father who actually acts like a father. Peter is by far the worst.

Cleveland

Bob, 90s Homer, Cleveland, and lastly current Homer, Peter and Stan are tied for last. Though of those in last, Stan would be the best guy to hang out with. He's just a terrible father is all.

Bob, it's not even a argument, Bob is a good person and good father and he looks like Archer so he probably have the others beat in looks too.

The fact that he is basically the straight man in the family definitely helps too, arguably it is Linda that is the "WACKY SITCOM DAD" and Bob that is the "DOWN TO EARTH SITCOM MOM".

Agreed

yep

Bob

Cleveland
Homer
Stan

Peter

Peter is a mentally retarded man who constantly brutally abuses his entire family at random, without warning, without giving any kind of reason. Stan is a regular dumb guy who assaulted his son in a misguided attempt to toughen him up. Stan is a regular abusive father. Peter is a psychopath.

who's a better dad, Bob Belcher or Hank Hill?

Alt Title: Which is the Worst Dad

Bob is supportive, flexible, tries to understand his kids to the best of his capabilities.
Hank Hill is a dense brick of a man. Reliable model, but not the best in a crisis.

Homer. Thread closed

They're both good fathers. Hank may misunderstand his son at times but he always goes out of his way to connect with him and guide him to make the right decisions in life, and is a great provider. Bob too is a very understanding, capable father who does the best he can to support his family.

Bob and Hank were better fathers than most of our own fathers

Bob is the only decent person in that image.

Peter. Not a moment's hesitation.

>Alt Title: Which is the Worst Dad
>Peter
>/thread

I think you're selling Stan short. Of the five Stan most consistently provides for his family, and he takes more of an interest in his kids than Homer, Cleveland, or Peter do. Yeah he doesn't connect with his kids as well as Bob, but in all fairness Stan also has Hailey for a daughter and that's a huge fucking handicap in the "who's a better parent" category.

Hank did save Arlen by destroying part of Arlen...

Hank seems dense on the surface, but you'd be surprised at how much effort he is willing to put in to correct himself and try to connect with his family. He's also the single best person you could have in a crisis; he never panics and is takes decisive action to save his loved ones (the dude has saved himself and/or family from a tornado, a sinking pontoon boat, an angry mob of football fans, a horny mob of college kids, and the Megalomart exploding from a gas leak)

Where does Cotton Hill rank on this list?

And Steven's a pretty damn good kid for a sitcom cartoon...

Peter and it's not even remotely close.
youtube.com/watch?v=_TboCCJntYk

Remember that Stan stalked and beat the shit out of Steve for about a week. He's definitely in "abusive father" territory.

Around or below Peter. He didn't even know about his first son, was the reason why Hank was born in New York, & literally named his late-life baby Good Hank. What an asshole. Even George Foreman wasn't as cruel when it came to naming his sons...

>Even George Foreman wasn't as cruel when it came to naming his sons...

He named literally all of them George, right?

Yup. But he has nicknames like Red & Little Joey.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Foreman

Bob is the best dad there.
He atleast somewhat understands his kids, rarely is he antagonistic towards them, and sacrifices a lot for them.

Homer, Cleveland, and Stan are all about the same. Depending on the episode they can be well meaning idiots or selfish Jerks. But they tend to never get their kids like Bob does.

Peter at this point is a straight up monster to his family.
They're about equal in their respective towns.

Hank sort of tones Bobby back because where they live eventually that'd get him ostracized. He actively tries to shape Bobby into a respectable man. But he's bad at communication and doesn't get Bobby most the time. Though on occasion he can be insightful.

Bob just lets his kids do whatever, but they live in a town of freaks so it's not like that'd really cause them much trouble. He just reigns them in when it looks like they could legitimately get themselves or others hurt. But he's all about letting them make their own mistakes and being there to help them recover and understand.

Bob is easily the best father.
He hasn't shot, stabbed, strangled, abandoned any of his children and has not once intended any malice towards them.

...Did Bob ever forget a kid back home or something? He might have done that so I don't know if that counts as abandoned.

Bob is by FAR the best. He's a genuinely loving, supportive, and mature father. I wish Bob were my daddy...

Both questions are clear and unanimous. Bob is best, Peter is worst

Hank, str8 up
it takes a good dad to be ultra supportive, it takes a great dad to know when to tell you no, but learn to let you do some stuff if it's ultimately harmless if not actually good for you

not the white ones

Bob > Stan > Homer >> Cleveland >>>> Peter.

Seconding this.
Only one not written as a TOTAL idiot, too.

Hank Hill

Bob's a doormat who refuses to stand up for himself unless it's done in secret, is letting his kids go rampant to the point where his daughters are a sociopath & an autist while his son's a retard

compared to Hank? he's an awful father
Hank made Bobby, all Cotton made was Hank

Neither. The Simpsons was never good, Bobs burgers is double Simpsons, Family guy is retroactively never good, and American Dad and Cleveland show are copys of Family guy. The true answer is Hank Hill.

He tried to discourage Gene from being successful in baseball...

Bob does make his kids work though.

he also apparently took the word of some little shit that his kids are just out trick-or-treating, never looked for them any further, went trick-or-treating with Linda, & they almost died in that episode

Bob.

Perfection

Bob>>(Cleveland)>>>>>Stan>Homer>>>>>>>>>Peter
I really haven't watched much Cleveland show but I don't remember him being abusive, which is a step up from 3 of those guys.

>has not once intended any malice towards them.
There was that time with Beefsquach.

Bob easily.

Hank is a mediocre father.
Sure Bobby won't turn out worthless, but he'll still think he is.

Bob>>>>>>>Cleveland>Homer>Stan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Peter

Bob. Hank's issue is that he doesn't support Bobby unless it's directly what HE wants for Bobby. He's firm and honest with his son, but he is really shitty towards Bobby sometimes just for not being a model of Hank's standards.

Bob makes mistakes, but he will go to hell and back to make his kids happy, but just as well will make choices to make them harder workers.

There is only one choice

>episode where Hank makes Bobby a puppet of himself so he knows that he likes him over a version of him that's into sports
>episode where Hank plants Bobby's flowers in his front yard because he knows they mean something to him
>first episode was all about Hank telling Bobby that he'll love him no matter what he does b/c he's his son

>episode where Hank arranges to get Bobby's troll dolls thrown away
>episode where Hank sends Bobby off to millitary school to toughen him up
>episode where Hank makes Bobby smoke an entire carton of cigarettes
For every time he was a good dad, there were two he was a shit dad.

Homer would have had this in the bag a long time ago, but that time is lost. Bob reigns supreme now.

Of that batch, Bob.

Best cartoon dad is Heinz though.

Bob>Stan>Homer>Cleveland>Peter

Of course old Homer, despite being an idiot, was actually a pretty alright dad and might have been better than Stan. Bob's of course objectively the best. He's just a genuinely alright guy. Hell, in his marriage his wife is the goofy one where he's just slightly eccentric.

Hank Hill is a wiser 90's Homer desu

Bob Belcher knows how almost any situation plays out and even frequently calls it out, but still willingly goes through with it for his family.

His wife doesn't deserve him.

Bob.

Peter is DaddyoFive tier.

>tfw I wanted to write a crossover of King of The Hill and Bob's Burgers about Bob and Hank competing in a grilling competition but have zero creativity

Bob > Hank > Archer Bob > Archer > Stan > 90s Homer > Cleveland > Homer > 90s Peter > Peter

When did he arrange to get the Troll Dolls thrown away?
And from what I remember Hank thought the Military School was an honor and was bummed he didn't get that rite of passage, and in the end the school was just a regular school until Cotton took over and Hank rushed in to stop him.

Hank was definitely a better dad more than he was a bad dad, and when he was a bad dad he was usually just ignorant.

Homer is obviously most iconic but Bob is the best

archer is a better dad than archer bob is. for the little time abbi has been around, hes taken bullets for here that her mom planned, willing to negotiate with bullies that almost killed him in order to get her into a good school, and i willing to deal with her mothers bullshit to be in her life, which she doesnt even leave him with custody in case something happens. all this in a child that was made with his seed without his permission. archer bob didnt even remember tinas name

Stan was just trying to be an American parent and teach Steve to kick niggas ass when they're messing with him

with kids like that?

no way

Bob Whatshisname is by far.

>FOX dads

I'll put them all through the fucking wall!

Come on, Frank is not a good dad. A sympathetic dad, but not a good one.

Wasn't there also an ep where Bobby some how got involved with a guy (who was voiced by Johnny Knoxville I think) that ran a Portable Toilet business. Turned out Bobby had a knack for the business and the guy was making a very good living off it, but Hank was disgusted by it, to the point where he couldn't even accept eating at the guys place, so he convinced the guy, who was a pretty decent guy, to get Bobby to give up his interest in the business?

Yes, Hank was basically in the wrong in this one but the writing contrived to make him right, Bobby starts his own waste collection business and his first job is at a frat house, and the bros just kind of make fun of him and make his job harder in front of him. Hank later amends the issue to it being easier for the guy to make a living cleaning shit because he's good looking and charming, whereas Bobby is portly and goofy, but that's a cop out because Bobby is just as charming and he's grow out of being a goofy little tween someday.

All told, this was one of the later episodes of the series so naturally it kind of sucked.

Hank Hill would be the top. Bob's a good guy and dad, but his kids are a bunch of little shits. Bobby's a bit of a dumbass, but in a more realistic pre-teen boy kind of way.

I prefer Linda as a wacky sitcom mom who isn't a total utter bitch like Lois and to a less extent Francine who has her moments but is nowhere never as bad as Lois.

Ah,But who is the worst dad with no redeemable qualities?

Fred Flintstone

Since Bob is best dad, how does Archer stack up?

He's a terrible father but he can try his best at being a terrible father. You know, just like Malory.

you won

...

Pre-cancellation Peter

unironically Bob

takes too much crap on behalf of the family.

the others take too much crap on the family for his behalf.

>including all the Seth MacFarlene dad's
KYS

/thread

Bob, by a wiiiiide margin.

I just thought it was a strange episode in general because Bobby's defining character trait is he wants to be a comedian. Seems strange that he'd suddenly be like, "no picking up poop is better!"

Clay was shitty person and father, but he's so self-loathing and pathetic that he pretty much deserve what he got, his wife is also quite an awful mother as well.

easy money is easy?

that and he can use it for his comedy act?

Bob, by a long shot. Why is this even a question?

Alright Sup Forums. You seem pretty settled on the best and the worst. Now try the moms.

I think having Bob is too easy.

How about we remove Bob from the equation. Now whose the best father?

Bob cares about his family and he can be a fun guy to hang with.

Hank cares too but he can be real stubborn on subjects he's unfamiliar with.

Works for best husband and best father

Why? The best mom is Marge and there isn't even really any room for debate.

>Linda
>Marge
>Donna
>Francine
