Why was the Cap shield classified in the first place?

Don't you think it's obvious? They wanted us to be confused and unsure. Even when it was pretty obvious what will be the resolution of this story: Hydra Cap and True Cap somehow face each other, with True Cap winning and giving Hydra the beating of its life.

Because he was playing contest of champions and learned all of their strats.

Bump

Has any other issue other than 6 been announced as delayed?

...

"Iron-NaziCap suit online. Activating Instant Kill".

I know it was only made to sell the game, but the CoC comic was great.

more like secret flop
bwahaaha

The important question... will Zemo save the day?

Secret Empire has been selling pretty well

If you don't know what you're talking about, maybe it's time to finally take your ass back to Sup Forums

For an event it's been underperforming. This is something we've been taking about for months. Even CW2 did better than this and it's been outsold by regular Batman, Flash, and Superman issues.

>Secret Empire has been selling pretty well

SE selling worse than the last issue of Civil War II.

At #3, it sold worse than Original Sin #3 and Fear Itself #3, the previous two worst selling Marvel Events.

It might appear high on the charts, but has really bad numbers for an event.

>It might appear high on the charts, but has really bad numbers for an event.

Yeah yeah put whatever spin you want on it, it's still not a flop

>not a flop

Secret Empire #3 - 91,611
Civil War II #3 - 176,876
Secret Wars #3 - 218,136
Original Sin #3 - 93,351
Infinity #3 - 123,285
Age of Ultron #3 - 100,347
Avengers Vs X-Men #3 - 175,695
Fear Itself #3 - 95,621

flop's are subjective but the way Marvel is scrambling around to make it work says otherwise.

I thought he would be holding something in his left hand (looks odd).

Why is it you want to act like it can only be compared to other events?

Because it's an event.

>>Why is it you want to act like it can only be compared to other events?

Because it's an event!

Marvel has been promoting this shit harder than many of the events listed, including Secret Wars and still sells like shit!

I don't remember Hickman getting interviewed on GMA regarding Secret Wars, you know.

Are you actually retarded or just a fanboy with some huge cognitive dissonance?

Doesn't matter if it's an event or not

You don't know what flop numbers look like

...

i think they said #8 was going to be delayed too

Spencer pls

This whole thing is getting embarrassing

Need confirmation so it can be added to the Bingo card!

Captain America related events don't sell much.Only even sold was his return. Returns do better. Still does better than most books.

A flop is ewings ultimates only boring retards reads.

Counterpoint: Civil War

they've all been flops
because comic books are floppy
>leaving out Axis
It's appropriate that a Memender-mangled event would sell just as badly as genuine Memender.

>less than Fear Itself
Sure it's only 4k, but god damn. And that story also involved a Hydra uprising.

It's getting an extended page count, but it hasn't been delayed. Well, not yet at least.

>Secret Empire continues to be the perfect example of all the ups and downs that come with a major comics event. Sales are up, but the event is plagued with extra issues, higher prices, delays, and Nick Spencer. Secret Empire #6 was the best issue so far, getting 8 extra pages, a price bump, and a week delay.

>August 9's issue #8 is getting an additional 8 pages and a price bump from $3.99 to $4.99. Fortunately, the release date is staying the same. Though, there's still time to go for the trifecta.

>That extra dollar will certainly boost Marvel's profits, as will the issue's five variant covers.

Ah shit, completely forgot AXIS even existed
AXIS #3: 84,708

So, in order of best to worst selling:

>Secret Wars #3 - 218,136
>Civil War II #3 - 176,876
>Avengers Vs X-Men #3 - 175,695
>Infinity #3 - 123,285
>Age of Ultron #3 - 100,347
>Fear Itself #3 - 95,621
>Original Sin #3 - 93,351
>Secret Empire #3 - 91,611
>AXIS #3: 84,708

So, currently "Secret Empire" isn't the worst-selling of the event books, but it's already doing "Original Sin" numbers and is on its way to doing "AXIS" numbers.

We should see the numbers for Secret Empire #4 and #5 from Comicchron tomorrow.
