Main protagonist is autistic female walking barefoot and having huge braid. Man I'm in love.

Main love interest gets stabbed on screen.
Protagonist loses her powers at end.
Short haircut
Villain who leaves me unsure how evil she is

This was a good movie

That was the point, it was meant to be a revival of sorts of the Princess franchise and they wanted to start of with something safe and familiar before doing the different stuff like frozen and Moana.

I kinda agree. It really only seems so vanilla now because every Disney movie since has just copied it's exact formula and improved upon it.

A great movie for sure. They got the right mixture of humour & character charisma in this one. The horse just cracks me up.

>vanilla
>A girl who ties her future BF up after abusing him, and who walks around barefoot everywhere.
I mean right there you're hitting at least 2 or 3 kinks in one sentence.

barefoot girls are the best girls
i wish i was a girl so i could go around barefoot everywhere being cute as fuck and teasing men

Dubs don't lie

I dont remember anything about this movie.

Disney fucked with the original story to much, and made Rapunzel a typical modern day bossy Tomboy proactive princess.

She's not supposed to be a princess by birth. She was supposed to be born from peasants.

Flynn Rider was supposed to be the prince who came to take her away from her misery. The witch finds out and blinds the prince, and hides Rapunzel.

Even though it was a cool effect shes also not supposed to have magical glowing hair.

Her mother was supposed to be a selfish bitch who forced her husband to put him self in danger every night by asking him to go to the witches garden to steal cabbages. She was pregnant with Rapunzel, and had cravings, and the father got caught which is why the witch took Rapunzel as payment.

This animated short is a more faithful telling of the original story

Tangled is far from a perfect film, but it had a better story, and characters than newer Disney films like Moanna.

and SOOO much better than Frozen.

Easily.

Agreed.

We need to see more of Punzie's belly.

>faithful telling of the original story

The "original story" that's been retold thousands of times all with their own changes? You retarded m8?

new episode this sunday!

>made Rapunzel a typical modern day bossy Tomboy proactive princess
>Tomboy
Like thats a bad thing

Thank fucking god.

Tangled>>>>>>>>Frozen

I think the only recent Disney movie that Frozen was better than was Big Hero 6

How many episodes are there now? I've seen 7 so far.

I'd argue Frozen topped Moana. Moana didn't try hard enough.

I dunno, Moana felt more enjoyable and felt like it had more heart. Also Moana's songs were Shinyer.

Don't know about "heart," but Moana's animation was so much prettier than Frozen's.

very heartwarming movie. I wish they expanded upon Mother Gothel's relationship with Rapunzel. I get that Rapunzel was ultimately the tool to Gothel's youthfulness and survival, but it was clear she treated her fairly well to the age of adulthood, with certain amounts of freedom and creative outputs painstakingly provided for her.

Gothel treated Rapunzel no better than someone treats their beloved pet dog.

And to think it was due to all those shiny Frozenbucks. Frozen 2 is gonna look even better.

I wish this "G-Gothel really loved her!" meme would die. Your waifu was evil. Accept it.

Yes, it actually is. It's also makes the character overly loud, and annoying instead of sweet, and graceful.

There were a lot of memorable shot in Tangled.
Usually, I don't give a shit about cinematography in animated movies, but I certainly remember more snaps from this movie than I do most of modern Disney combined.

Doesn't really make a movie, but I at least took note of it.

This so much. I don't believe shes ever shown it.

Watched this for the first time less than a year ago, it was alright, better than brave at least.

But honestly I couldn't get into it on the simple fact of how stupid the witch was, all she had to due was lie about Rapunzel's god damn birthday, and boom, eternal youth forever!

>all she had to due was lie about Rapunzel's god damn birthday, and boom, eternal youth forever!

How exactly would the witch lying about Rapunzel's birthday help her in anyway?

The problem wasn't so much that Rapunzel wanted to leave because of her birthday, but because she felt mature enough to leave the nest. It might have bought her a year or two but eventually Rapunzel would have wanted to explore the outside world.

1. ba dum tss
2. Replace tangled with frozen

The entire driving force of her wanting to go to the kingdom was because of the damn lantern show always occurring on her birthday, she saw it as a sign.

Had changed a single day she would have been much more manageable.

I don't mean to get all armchair psychologist here, but I swear it's only ever people who have narcissistic, mentally/emotionally abusive parents who think Goethel really loved Rapunzel. It's like they don't realize they're stuck in the same situation.

Wow, I really need to rewatch the film. I forgot how beautiful it is.

Nice

They copied Pixar formula, that's why their movies were better and better performing at B.O. since like 2011. And Pixar is going downhil.

I ship the princess and the horse.

>lorefag
>muh faithful telling of original content

The internet always needs more PunzieBondage porn

>faithful telling of the original story
>Disney

Pick one

AT FUCKING LAST

>all she had to due was lie about Rapunzel's god damn birthday, and boom, eternal youth forever!
She had no way of knowing this would be an issue until it was too late.

Maybe it is because the original sucked and don't hold up as full story anymore?

Oh fucking totally, Tangled's animated aged like fine wine while Frozen looks like it's aging like milk.

>Even though it was a cool effect shes also not supposed to have magical glowing hair

Wow user! You are genious for getting that the movie is totally different, you must be the only person on earth who ever heard the real Rapunzel story! But now everyone will know the truth!

Tell me about that famous movie, Shrek! How much of that is canon? The Grimm brothers really liked Smash Mouth?
