If ATLA ended with Taang how would their children have turned out?

If ATLA ended with Taang how would their children have turned out?

Well, Tenzin probably would've been less of a hard-nose, and Bumi would remain exactly the same.

I have no clue

Lin would have been way more zen and probably happier in her personal life. Suyin might have picked up some semblance of an actual moral core.

Bumi whas a mayor lost oportunity on the show. Having the first born of Aang ment that not only was he expected to be a bender worthdy or his parents fame but also an airbender able to repopulate the world. He was neither of those things yet it was barely touch on the show. You think with season 1 being about bender vs nonbender he would had something to bring to the table yet he had only like 6 seconds of screentime.

wow i never think about that, but you´re absolutely right, they miss a fucking good oportunity with bumi

They would have been fucking hippies. The children of a free-spirited ex-wrestler turned drifter and a Buddhist monk? Total space cadets. Probably good people, though.

>Having the first born of Aang ment that not only was he expected to be a bender worthdy or his parents fame but also an airbender able to repopulate the world.

Until it was actually stated, everyone assumed he was the second born and that Kya was the eldest.

But what I'm most disappointed on in regards to him was that they decided to have him retire between seasons 1 and 2. I was actually looking forward into an actual look into the UR's military and see how he (the eldest son of Avatar Aang) fit into it.

But all we got was just Iroh II's praise.

Lin would have been sent far far away after catching her playing "mommy and daddy" with her brother Tenzin

Numerous and 100% daily dose of vitamin C

>even in AUs, the incest endures

Usually I'd say something like
>implying the girl would be punished and sent away in that situation
But this is Lin we're talking about here so

Aang and Katara really should've had twenty kids. I can understand them not wanting to give Aang a harem but when you're the last member of a race only having three kids is beyond retarded.

Didn't Toph and Aang get a lot more serious when they became adults? I mean being a cop isn't exactly a anti-authoritarian rebel's job.

Especially when one of your kids already happens to be a big gay? No way, I wouldn't take any chances there, I'd pump her full of kids.

>Aang realizes that Katara can't pump out enough kids for him
>Toph offers to let him borrow her and a few other people too

I know that this ISN'T a porn comic somewhere, but now I want to know how we missed this golden opportunity.

Could you imagine the family politics if Tenzin was still the only Airbender and Aang focused all his attention on him instead of his dozen other kids?

Tenzin is the Golden Airbender Boy, he couldn't be sent off anywhere

Porn almost always focuses on the MCs or popular secondary characters. In LoK the Gaang were just background characters and thus there was relatively little porn of their adult designs.

Who says they didn´t there must be a reason why neither of their daughters knew who their father was.

I once had the idea for a fapfic with just this premise. The idea was that some time after Sozin's Comet it dawns on Aang that the world needs more airbenders or the Avatar Cycle will be broken. So Sokka comes up with the brilliant idea for Aang to essentially whore his way across the Earth Kingdom. Sokka, Aang, and Zuko thus set off on an epic journey to get Aang laid as many times as physically possible.

My tentative title was, "The Epic Quest to Repopulate the Air Nomads."

agreed, 3 seem like way too low for a dying people. and katara is a born mother the way she act.

ill tell you the truth: they give him 3 child only because they knew in advance that airbenders would deus ex machina pop back from the void once a random magic door opened. sure, aang had no way to know that but the writers did.

i didnt like korra, obviously

When a group gets genocided you can't just pick a bunch of random people from all over the world and say they're part of that group. I mean you could but it would be one of the most insulting things you could do and it would be a major clusterfuck considering dressing someone up in a costume doesn't change their culture.

>because they knew in advance that airbenders would deus ex machina pop back from the void once a random magic door opened. sure, aang had no way to know that but the writers did.

I thought Bryke was originally going to have Korra be a standalone miniseries, and were taken off guard by Nick ordering a bunch more seasons. That's why the Legend of Korra had a new big bad every season instead of the same major big bad for the whole series like Last Airbender did.

That's what the air acolytes did. I kind of assumed the new airbenders who followed Tenzin intended to give up their old lives to learn air nomad teachings and culture.
