PUNISHER STORYTIME
All this year I'll be storytiming Punisher comics, focusing mostly on the pre-Ennis era. Some Ennis era material will also be posted at some point, and it's not impossible that I might also post something from the post-Ennis era eventually as well. Expect at least 1 storytime per week.
Earlier this week I posted Eurohit, the story arc that kicked off Abnett & Lanning's run on The Punisher (which you can still read here: ).
Today we're going to be continuing from there and finishing off the rest of this run.
We've got a couple single-issue stories followed by a 3-issue arc (though 1 issue is double-sized, so it's essentially equivalent to half a dozen issues). There's not really that much to say about them. They're reasonably entertaining and they pretty much follow in DnA's habit of writing The Punisher as more of an action-adventure-movie-style hero than as a "street tough" vigilante (though not to the same degree as what we saw in Eurohit). The last arc does introduce some characters that we'll see again later on, but by and large they aren't really focused on any big name villains or supporting characters. They're pretty much just some stories about The Punisher kicking ass.
