Why, I do believe it's time for early Silver Age comics!
But enough about me, how was your weekend?

That's enough of Curt Swan and Superboy...
... it's time for Jack Kirby and Green Arrow!
Yes, this is technically meant to be a Kirby thread today, but I guess it can be a Swan thread too. See, there wasn't a regular Green Arrow artist for a while, so Jack stepped up to the plate.
So far, it's all very "totally not-Batman", because that's what Green Arrow was back then, but Jack would eventually become the writer for Green Arrow (because who the hell WANTED to be the regular GA writer?) and Jack being Jack... well, you'll see eventually.

That's enough of the Silver Age for today...
... Dick Sprang was born 102 years ago today...
... Jean Roba would've been 87...
... Philip Proctor is 77...
... Peter Cullen is 76...
... Jim Davis is 72...
... Sally Struthers is 70...
... Jon J Muth is 57...
... Lori Loughlin is 53...
... Themo Lobos died 5 years ago today...
... and Eileen Brennan died four years ago.
Well, I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow, knock on wood, to give you some more Silver Age silliness, as well as the usual stuff.
Silver Age covers are the most eternally funny thing in comics.
Thanks OP it was a good read
Neat!
Thanks anyway, user. I love this goofy shit.
Thanks, OP.
