King of the Hill is cancelled to make way for the Cleveland Show

>King of the Hill is cancelled to make way for the Cleveland Show
>Cleveland Show dies bleeding out slowly like a rabbit in a bear trap
>King of the Hill died for nothing
It still makes me sad to this day, Sup Forums. Let's use this thread to remember the good old days, for KotH and other shows that suffered cancellation for asinine reasons that brought nothing of value.

KotH went out at a good time before it became shit.

...

It lasted ten seasons. Let it go.

Some shows would fucking kill for the treatment KOTH got.

All good things must come to an end OP

Uh... Hank what are you doing there?

It lasted a healthy 13 seasons and was showing signs of tiredness near the end. Shows have to die user, and if they don't you know what happens.

This. It was starting to dip. Not bad enough to skip, but I'm afraid we would have entered zombie Simpsons tier if it went on any longer

259 episodes, user. C'mon.

It's only sort of justifiable, but Clone Wars was sad to see go. Rebels isn't bad by a long shot, but Clone Wars had finally hit the point where everything was perfect and then it was killed by Disney. I still wish we could've had it wrap up properly.

But fuck Ultimate for killing Spectacular without a doubt. That cemented my hatred for Disney.

Clone Wars was just garbage prequelshit though

I'll admit that it started rather weak, but it really came into it's own at the end. Simply because something took place during the prequel period does not make it inherently terrible.

>Simply because something took place during the prequel period does not make it inherently terrible

My first thought after seeing ops stupid post. Fpbp

...

This.

Hank did nothing wrong

How would the show have dealt with Luanne's VA dying?

Stabs Lucky with a fork and gets sent away to prison.

KotH reincarnated as Bob's Burgers.

Probably an accidental death like what happened with Maud and then the storyline focus shifts to the way Lucky tries to adjust to losing Luanne while being a single father that wants to raise his daughter to be better than himself.

She died from pneumonia so they might have noticed it earlier if she was still voice acting

Agreed.

So it's confirmed that The Cleavland Show killed a woman then. Can any other cartoons say that?

>Imagine having your head stuck this far up your own ass.

Yeah there was already a showing of decline during the last few seasons. If I have an issue with anything it's how absolutely abysmal Fox treated the show's last season constantly fucking with when episodes aired and even not airing some causing the real finale to air before an episode about Kahn's depression.

She was still acting in other stuff so I highly doubt that.

I can kinda see that.

Mike Judge wanted to end the show anyway.

I loved KOTH but it had it's run and it's time has past. I hope they never do a revival.

The overarching story lines were dying in favor of a more episodic formula, which was starting to get annoying. Plus there was so much material they just let go to waste, and Hank's friends were 9/10 total shits who never learned anything.

King of the Hill should have ended of its own volition, but it needed to end basically exactly when it did. The show was starting to get hit by sitcom decline and plot recycling.

>died from pneumonia
she was obviously murdered by poison.

If it's still running and noticeable then they might do a special eps dedicated to it. Have Hank finally open up about Luanne.

>final scene of the episode has hank hanging a picture on the wall but viewer can't see
>he sighs before taking off his glasses to wipe his eyes
>after putting them back on he looks at the picture and smiles
>calmly walks out of the room and turns around to look at the photo again
>its a photo of Luanne
>lights shut off and a slow guitar strum plays

Meant to add, the photo will be in Hanks den. Luanne standing next to Hank's old truck as if she just finished repairing it.

That seems a little cheesy, it being a picture of her and treated like that

No KOTH was good....Bob's burgers is just annoying.

For the last time KOTH died at a good time. Do you want Zombie KOTH? Maybe more Lucky episodes? Fuck that.

DOCTOR OCTAGONAPUS

BLRAAAAAAAAAAAAAURRRRGGGGHHH

No user.

When you shit post you can't just post random pictures and hoping for lots of (you)'s.

There is an art to it.

...

Good riddance and i'm gald Seth Got to add a third show to Fox

Only good show Mike did was Beavis n Butthead (That spinoff, called diarrhea sucked as well)

This ain't bait btw, its called a different opinion.

HAHA HE SAID DIARRHEA

Hey now, what's wrong with Daria?

It was a valiant attempt. It would have worked on Sup Forums 10 years ago.

>Seth is making a new series
>it's live action star trek ripoff

good riddance they're both shows for stupid white people

when the fuck are they going to animate black Frasier

agreed. you don't want to run into the problem where they're just continuing it for Revenues sake.

Trips confirm.

Hey, Seth. This is Trey Parker. Have fun never winning pic related and continuing to waste FOX's precious airtime with garbage like The Orville.

It's a "parody"

First episode:

Token Black Lady:*knocks on door that says Captain* "Captain, why you been in your quarters so long?"
Seth, holding a bottle: "Uhh, I was doing some research on the local culture before the mission"
Green chick: *walks up to Seth from behind, sensually strokes his chest* Captain, don't you want to keep seeing how the locals _do_ things?"
Token Black lady: "Oh mah gawd, you have a meetin with the ambassador in an hour"
Seth *takes a swig, burps*: I'll be there, I just gotta finish up this bottle, I mean meeting"

COMMERCIAL

*At the bridge, Seth is visibly drunk, slumping in his chair, the alien Ambassador comes on screen, he looks ape-like with a hairy face, long nose and cleft chin*

Ambassador: "Captain, thank you for acting as our escort and adviser to the Greenman planet, we trust you have obtained information about the locals."
Seth: Yeah, *urp* I got veeeery immersed in the locals if you know what I mean ;)"
*Ambassador turns to Token black* "What does that mean, first mate?
*robot interrupts* "I believe the captain means he engaged in sexual activity with a Greenman prostitute, Ambassador, he said it would be quote 'really sexy, unlike those ape ladies the ambassador likes'
Ambassador: "CAPTAIN! were you referring to my wife and daughter?!!?? That is most inappropriate, we Ballhearians-
*Seth interrupts, laughing*
Seth: "Ball-hairians? That's what you're called *burp* That's why your face looks like a dick and balls HAHAHA *throws up, passes out*
Token Black: "I am so sorry ambassador, please forgive us, this won't happen again
Ambassador: "It better not, what is wrong with him?"
Robot: "Alcoholism, nacissistic personality disorder, herpes, crabs, gohnerrea, obsession with ancient earth music, and my ofactory sensors indicate strong body odor
*Crew agrees*
Ambassador: Well ,clearly he is also blind, my wife is gorgeous
And then someone farts after he hangs up and says *Whew I was holding that one in the whole time"

>hurr durr I don't allow myself to like anything remotely related to the prequel time period because the movies sucked
He's right though and you're earnestly missing out on some good material just for the sake of being a Star Wars elitist of all things.

>second battle of hoover dam.jog

>black Frasier
I'm intrigued. Tell me more.

It was a 30 rock skit

youtube.com/watch?v=8Zffv-FCEYM

prequelfags are always hilarious with their weak defenses

King of the Hill had lived long enough, and got a very nice final episode. It's better this way, do you want it to be a shambling corpse like The Simpsons?

What the fuck was everybody's problem in this episode?

I know it could have easily gone full zombie mode, but I just wanted better treatment from the network honestly. Having a show end on its own terms rather than be dragged out back and shot. I'd have even settled for the Ed, Edd & Eddy treatment and go out with a movie long after the fact. Just not dying for the Cleveland Show of all things. That stung like a bitch.

Are you from the past or so far in the future that meme popularity became cyclical?

Jesus Christ this! No show that goes past 5 seasons ever comes out alive

The hell would a king of the hill movie be about

It's better to burn out then to fade away. FPBP

Hank struggling to deal with the 2016 election and eventually choosing murder suicide as the only way out for him and his family.

But user, we're practically already reaching that point

Does Bobbeh get influenced by Sup Forums or tumblr?

First tumblr, then Sup Forums when he realizes none of the girls on tumblr will go out with him because he's a white male

Peggy is a die hard Clinton supporter.

>to burn out then to fade away

*to burn out than to fade away

I'll never forgive CN for what they did to this show. For as long as I live I'll be bitter about this. There's so much more they could have done and they let their greed get in the way. Fuck CN and fuck Hasbro.

Clarence raped a woman

>implying bobbeh won't come out as genderfluid

THATS MY PURSE YOU FUCKING WHITE MALE

What?

I'm just going to go ahead and get this one out of the way...

Bobby slays left and right, he could get a girl anywhere. Don't pull the 'he's fat' card either, it is easy as fuck to find fat guys with good looking women. They all got one thing in common, self confidence, they are not afraid to approach a girl and they talk to them without being a weenie.

His original VA and the creator of the show had a mental breakdown and groped a woman

KOTH did not need to continue.

Seasons 1-4: The best seasons, thanks to all the story arcs and character development.
Seasons 5-8: Still Great, but not quite as well written as before, and some characters were flanderized.
Seasons 9-11: Alright, but they stopped caring about previously established continuity here. Also where Lucky became a regular.
Seasons 12-13: Honestly found these seasons mostly boring.

Defense? Why would you expect a defense if you've yet to launch a proper offense? Autistically screeching "PREQUELS BAD" does not make for a good argument, especially when only the setting is shared.

>Seasons 9-11: Alright, but they stopped caring about previously established continuity here
Checkmate GWB

keep crying faggot. I can feel your guilt by association

>this was the most hilarious video ever when i was a kid

I was mad about it for a while, but as time went on I felt it probably had another season or two left. I'd been watching the show since it debuted, and as much as I enjoyed it, all good things must come to an end. I'd rather it go out still a top quality show than something struggling to stay relevant.

Plus I think the final scene is probably the most heart warming scene in television history.

>sucking Seth Macfarlane's dick this much

Come back when you get Quagmire's cum out of your mouth.

The Arlen flooder flooded all their houses.

>The Cleveland Show legitimately killed someone

Haha oh man.

at least it wasn't dusty old bones full of green dust
