Fern deserves it.

I mean *deserved

If by deserves you mean HW.

so what was the point of Fern? he just appears out of nowhere, his presence is not really established (because he doesn't have a significant role in neither Islands nor Elements), there are several episodes dedicated to how he can fit in if he tries, then he just decides he can't fit in unless he gets rid of original Finn and dies

FATALITY

He didn't originally want to kill Finn. He was going to leave him caged up so that he could take his place. It wasn't until Finn attacked him did the creature truly take over.

I may be grasping at straws. but mabye its similar to how Finn feels like he dosen't belong anywhere, and sometimes alienates himself by trying to solve problems that aren't there

TLDR: 50/50 chance Finn finds happiness in the finale, or dies.

...

I don't think he'll die, but maybe Jake could.

Was this made by Natasha?

What did he see, Sup Forums?

shadman

how long will we have to wait until the next bomb

to be honest i hjate this bomb shit. an episode a week was better in my opinion.

November. AT always goes on hiatus in July since 2014.

you better hope we wait long enough, we only have 16 eps left

This show is slowly getting closer to my theory I made when Sweet Pea was first created. He's going to become really good at fighting evil. Too good even. It'll reach a point where the evil he has to fight off on Oo is just too easy for him. He will eventually realize how he was created by guardian blood, and find his destiny in capturing all the ancient evil monsters across all realities.

...

and then he has hot sex with LSP, right?

agreed. I like consistency in my life.

f

Yeah, the evil cursed Fern deserved it. Somehow the Finn inside Fern will find a way to defeat the curse.

owo whats this

Anyone got that finnxbronwyn fanfic that was posted last thread? The pastebin was deleted.

I haven't watched adventure time, do you guys reccomend me watching it from the beginning?

where did the grass squid thing come from? Was it Fern, or did it only influence Fern?

yes

Storyboard panel for the next episode. It's called The Wild Hunt.

It's the curse from Finn's grass arm. Rewatch Season 9 episode 1

oops i mean season 8.

Yes.

a curse

Wow, Finn really is fat. No wonder HW rejected him.

He's fat where it counts.

reEEEEEEEE DELET THIS

I think that one was actually Pen

...

Not really. He does look fat in Three Buckets when he pulled up his shirt.

why did she have to be a cat with no ears

So I haven't seen AT since Stakes. How is it these days?

That Canyon is an attractive woman. There, I said it.

>The Wild Hunt

You don't say

adventure time's later episodes rely heavily on references to past events. if you don't start from the beginning you'll be completely lost.

it's alright

because the intent was for her to be unsettling not cute

Shit, as it has been for the past 4 seasons

...

princess marco

Conformed for not watching the show.

been running at a solid 6/10

...

Islands > Stakes > Elemental
For what it's worth, Nu Adventure Time is pretty alright.

Islands have the most anticlimactic ending out of all the show arcs, both miniseries and several-parters.

Writing is....functional.
Visuals are pretty great though. Loved the settings and backgrounds in Elements.

Pretty good

How?

That's your opinion. The finale for me with Finn and his mom was a bittersweet note that rang much higher than Elementals and arguably Stakes.

This

The whole conflict is resolved peacufelly. Not like it's necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't make you feel like something big and important is going down.

because big and important shit goes down as soon as they return to ooo.

No incest

>Islands have the most anticlimactic ending out of all the show arc
NO.
Ending was sweet and touching.
youtube.com/watch?v=yw9RHaW5JnI

>anticlimactic
>sweet and touching
These are not mutually exclusive

The whole point of this series was Finn finally getting a chance to see what happened to his mom and the other humans this whole time. I don't think something big needs to happen at the end of the final episode.

You are correct. The ending is actually sweet and touching.

Humans are now connected back to the world and aren't isolated anymore. That's quite big.

Plus, what this user said.

dunno about the one you're talking about, but here's another one that some wonderful user made a while ago;

WARNING: parts 2 & 3 are very lewd

also someone really needs to draw some SFW Finn/Bronwyn art

I ship it

>no-Lich Finn goes insane and sword Finn fucking dies
Are we following the ideal timeline for Finn? Are all others him suffering much much worse?

are Finn and Jake the best Sup Forums related bros ever? always supporting each other, love each other the most anyone can love a person, would go for the ends of the earth for the other in a second, can count the amount of times they were dicks to each other using less than two hands. they're really great.

Fern is a clear example that other Finns are probably getting fucked out there. Aside from the whole grass curse thing and having his life stolen thing, Fern is way more violent and quick to get pissed off, which is because he came from the ass end of season 6 where Finn was in a bad way.
I take this to mean that without all the things going right for Finn where he was able to claw his way out of the pit he fell into, he would have gotten in a bad way too. Probably lots of other Finns out there who messed things up like this to varying degrees.

Not even close. There is almost certainly a multiverse where Finn was born with an enormous cock and in addition to being a hero is the biggest pussy slayer in Ooo

I really wish they didn't make it so that Elements started happening the second Finn and Jake left, should have given us at least a week or something so Finn could have stayed with his mom longer.

The way the show portrays it now makes it look like he was with Min for a few days at most, which really stinks. I would have liked a week at least or something.

How old is Bronwyn? Is she around Finn's age?

I think she's like 2 to 2.5 years old going from when she was born, but Rainicorns have weird aging so she seems to be a 13 year old teen or something. If Finn waits a few months she'd probably be just as old as him.
Then probably age up to adulthood like all Jake's children, which will be weird cause Finn will be like 18 at most and she'll probably be 30 or whatever. As long as that doggy puss is alright I doubt he'll mind though.

I think I just found my crackship

...

Why does she look so human anyway? She's a mix between a bear, a dog and a rainicorn.

so people would draw porn of her
i mean i dunno

I guess bear genes are really sexy
the hair can at least be explained away, because she got that from Lady

>hiatus
Do you remember when this was called a 'midseason break'?

>Wake up one day too all your loved ones treating you like a weird stranger while another you is treated like the real you.
>Do your best to cope, but no matter how much you fit in they will never see you as yourself. The best you could ever be to them is a good "someone else".

Fern could of been an amazingly tragic character if done well.

When CN decides to have 'whenever the fuck they feel like it-season breaks' it's fair to call them hiatuses I think.

Do you not think he was done well? I was pretty impressed in how they executed his arc after finally getting back to it after the two miniseries.
Like you mentioned, he was in a really bad spot. Things would have been different if he could have been his own person, but it's really hard to not act like yourself since being yourself is the only thing you know how to do.

mentally and physically that appears to be the case, temporally though she's only a couple years old at most

I assume that since Bronwyn is only ΒΌ Rainicorn that the effect is much slowed compared to her father(which makes sense Kim went from infant to adulthood in a matter of weeks, while Bronwyn is apparently at least a year or two old), so I assume her aging from this point forward will probably not be all that different from Human standards

>I think I just found my crackship
yeah it's surprising at how well it works

>Why does she look so human anyway? She's a mix between a bear, a dog and a rainicorn.
don't forget there's some Shapeshifter in the mix as well

...

So Bronwyn is 1/2 bear, 1/4 rainicorn, 1/8 dog and 1/8 alien
That's a lot of races mixed into one

you'd think that would result in an abomination instead of a smoking hot piece of skater ass

...

There wasn't enough time spent on Fern struggling with not being Finn and too much time of him just being angsty because he was generally incapable. His decision to replace Finn came off as a childish scheme, "I suck now but if I'm the only Finn I'll stop sucking".

Why the fuck do people need to go into such detail?

>There wasn't enough time spent on Fern struggling with not being Finn and too much time of him just being angsty because he was generally incapable.

I suppose I can get that, because from what I remember he stopped trying to be his own person pretty quick. After he came back from stealing Starchy's motorcycle he went back to trying to be Finn again really quick, kind of going against the whole self identity thing his arc was about, but in fairness that is because Finn directly asked him to take his place while he was away.

He was going to lock him in an unventilated room with a tray of dirt and a bucket of garbage. Finn would've died.

I miss when Sup Forums was good

>Less than 20 episodes left
>One episode is confirmed a rap episode
Fucking why? Does somebody at the production team actually like any of those episodes? Or did they think they had more time?

Princess Tubgirl

I think Fern's death is foreshadowing Jake's death. Finn kills someone who he saw as a brother but was really a demon. Jake is really a monster and Finn sees him as a brother.
