People seem hung up on a Boba Fett movie but I assume they may end up doing a bounty hunter film with an original protagonist along with a Boba Fett cameo similar to Vader in Rogue One or something. Rogue One was a war film and Han Solo is gonna be an origin story so they could go for a more fantasy route surrounding the force or something

That'd be a better idea than a straight Boba Fett movie, but we already know the movie Trank got himself fired from was a Boba movie. I think most of us are just assuming they'll want to salvage that idea rather than reorganize it into another type of movie with a less Boba-centric focus.

The 2020 movie was one pitched by Lucas. It is the same movie that has been planned since 2014. It probably isn't a Boba movie, but if it is, it's because it was planned to be for a long fuckin' time because Lucas is autistic and likes exploring the psychology of characters with traumatic childhoods. (Not kidding, this is why we will be getting a Boba movie, IF we get one. Lucas was pretty vocal about this is what he liked about the character and wanted to explore)
They're not just going to "crack" and "do a Boba movie" because "he's the popular one, right?". That's just a silly conceptualization for a movie. Sometimes the obvious thing that people expect isn't the good thing.

If I had to pick a standalone story set in the Old Republic era, out of all the Sith, Darth Bane would be top priority due to him establishing the Rule of Two. It would be great way to show the Sith Master passing on knowledge to their apprentice and for the student to eventually become the master

Considering we saw Eight Brother and Seventh Sister, that's like, at least 10 other Inkies we haven't seen that can be used in future pre-ANH media. I think one already showed up in the Ahsoka novel, and there are surely more coming in the Vader comic.
All-in-all though, I am thinking that after Vader "killed" Ahsoka, he went back and slaughtered the remaining Inquisitors. They failed to catch their biggest target, and their use to him was done.

I know that the Storygroup archive every piece of art and story ideas so that it can be used later on, but how far in development was that film anyway? If it's not that far in development then changes can be made easily while using leftover ideas for other media later on
