>Homecoming doesn't even have a release date in China yet, although there are rumors it's planned to hit the Chinese box office in November. As the Hollywood Reporter notes:
>"The delays could cost Hollywood millions. In an increasingly integrated — and still piracy-vulnerable — global entertainment landscape, late release dates have been known to erode box office significantly."
>Chinese box office in November So 2 MCU movies within the same month competing with each other in China? Doesn't make sense.
Robert Thomas
>people still worried about Chinese pandering
The thing about the Chinese box office is that even though there's a lot of money to be made, it's not much as you think (because they keep a lot more of the profits than other countries) and they keep changing the rules and making Hollywood jump through more and more ridiculous hoops to market their movie. It's probably already close to the point where it's not worth it.

Homecoming looks gay as fuck.
Adam Wilson
The November part is a rumor because it's not going to be released in September anymore. It was supposed to be in August, then it was delayed to September, now no one knows exactly when.
Blake Reed
>>November >>Same month as Thor Ragnarok
HA HA! Way to fuck up Spider-Man!

Bullshit.
China doesn't permit the release of non-Chinese movies in July.
And this is clickbait HR should know better than.
While it's possible that they would have sought a July release date in China, it's more likely that the July date was picked globally to avoid conflicting with other big movies, as is the norm.
What's also normal is not knowing your Chinese release date until a few weeks ahead. November? Try August.
