That was disappointing

That was disappointing.

Fuck off, shill

I liked it.

spiderman was supposed to be realistic and with deep consequences, it was a satire to all teenagers that wanted to be a hero.

You escape Sup Forums.

So we can only discuss capeshit on Sup Forums if we're praising it like a bunch of autistic fanboys or do you post this in every capeshit thread?

stop making the same retarded thread over and over then yes

Why is Zendaya on the cover when the other black girl had a bigger impact on Peter's character?

dumb ass

Because Zendaya had a Disney show once and is inevitably going to wind up as Peter's girlfriend because he has canonical jungle fever

She's a bigger star I guess.

Good for one (1) argument

he argued that you're a dumb ass which I have to agree with

dumb ass

retard

moron

They spent the money to compose the Spider-man theme song with a full orchestra and then proceeded to not use it within the actual film.

>No action
>Comedy was hit or miss
>Generic villain
Basically it felt like one of those highschool movies you see on Disney Channel. Still a good movie but far from the best MCU movies.

She had two shows and starred in a TV movie.

Boat scene

Train scene

Your mother gave birth to you.

You're on the wrong board. Sup Forums is for discussing movies, you see.

Its just... there

another cog while waiting for Infinity war

>What went wrong?
no spider sense because is dumb. fucking casuals, like if gettin bitten by a radiactive spider and gaining spider powers is so fucking real.

"MJ" mud washing

I'll tell you what's wrong...
>SJW agenda seeping in, by race swapping white characters.
>Tom Holland is the gayest looking actor to play Spider-man.
>RDJ/Iron Man being shoved into Spider-man, instead of letting the movie stand on it's own feet.
>The subtitle "Homecoming" is gay as fuck with the gayest font I've ever seen.
>It's another reboot.
>They should have kept Andrew Garfield as Spider-man, instead of confusing the audience with a new actor playing the role.

This.

It is filled with SJW filth and most of the characters are nothing like their comic/cartoon counter parts. It was Spider-Man: Cuckcoming

>No action
>Generic villain

I don't think you actually saw the movie, user

I did and the fights scenes were a JOKE. And the villain is the kind of guy you see in cartoons

It perpetuates the problem Marvel has with Spider-man, to remain a child.

yeah, the mexican cross dresser felt pointless in this film

He has them he just doesn't fully understand them yet.

I think this is pretty fair.
I thought that it was okay, but that's just it: It was just Okay and compared to the other comicbook movies that came out this year, it's not even top 3. (in my humble opinion.)

The boat scene was a moment of struggle and failure and the train scene was a moment of struggle and victory

They accomplish fundamentally different things in the movie.

Not really. If he was some kind of guy you'd see in cartoons he'd try to blow up the city by the end instead of trying to stay under the radar until pushed to pulling the big heist. Even that is not cartoony like some other MCU villains.

HAHHAHA IM SO SARCASTIC AND RELATABLE, HAHAH XD LOOK AT HOW UNCARING AND LAZY I AM, TYPICAL MILLENNIAL, AM I RIGHT! HAHA XDXD
WATCH ME CONTRIBUTE NOTHING TO THE MOVIE EXCEPT FOR OUT OF PLACE UNFUNNY SNIDE COMMENTS, AND UNWANTED SOCIAL COMMENTARY REMARKS JUST BECAUSE MY SKIN COLOUR IS A FEW SHADES BROWNER

Completely unlikable, unattractive character both inside and out.

>capeshit movie
>too similar to cartoons

well done user

ugly ass hoodrat

Holy shit you guys are triggered over a character that had like... maybe 30 seconds of screentime.

damm, you fuckers throw "sjw" around way to much,

Keaton is in the top 3 Best Marvel villains., Understandable goals, smart enough to deduce who spider man was with out having it fucking spelled out to him, relatable motives.

The opening scene of the movie was very good, it should everything we needed to know about the character, he was ambitious, hard working, also an asshole, and some dude that got fucked by the system.

Also I was hard to have action in the movie as it was, when 99% of the fights should have ended with Vulture just flying straight up into the air.
And disney marketed the shit out of that movie to make it PG-13, thats why spiderman doesnt throw a punch the entire movie.

That it came out right between two movies about a time-manipulating, dimension travelling sorceror and a team of aliens fighting an entire planet and three movies about a war between gods, a semi-secret high-tech nation and everyone versus the mightiest being in the universe - going back to a teenager running around in spandex in the suburbs and Penis Parker "jokes" is pretty hard.
If this came out right after Avengers 1 the disappointment would be much smaller.

More than 30 seconds.
I wish it was just 30 seconds.
Yes her screen time was short, but what was the point? Those little stupid quips "uuuh I dont have any friends!" were the icing on a cake of shit.

That character could have easily, EASILY, been cut and the movie's plot/structure would have not changed the movie would have been better.
It annoys me because I feel like her character was only there to boost """diversity""" and for that motherfucking "muh slave built this" comment.

It was pretty good, I really liked seeing one of my favorite moments from the comics adapted. Keaton was as expected, fantastic. I was even amused by Peters funny fat friend, and Flash Thompson being a more cut you down bully than beat you up bully made a lot of sense.

Mary Jane of *ahem* MJ being an obnoxious SJW even made sense. High school girls are dumb, impressionable, and desperately aloof. Made sense that she was too. I didn't really give a shit.

however, I did not like removing the emotional crux of uncle bens death to make room for "I have to make Tony like me!!must be a super cool avenger!"

IF youre gonna make this aspect of the film so important, at least connect Peter Parkers desire for Tonys validation back to the pain of Bens death.

It was a cute and funny movie, but they have no idea what they're doing with his character.

Every single plot event was the result of Peter taking the same action
>I'm going to go after Vulture and co on my own despite this being totally irresponsible
>Whuh oh, huge levels of peril and damage have resulted from my intervention
>Repeat several times so we can get more huge action sequences in
When he gets reprimanded by Tony, it seems to suggest that the flaw he needs to overcome is his selfish desperation to prove himself. Makes sense right? So what ends up happening?
>I'm going to go after Vulture and co on my own despite this being totally irresponsible
>Whuh oh, huge levels of peril and damage have resulted from my intervention
>But it's all good this time cos I won by the skin of my teeth.
They try to beat into you that some sort of huge character development has occurred with the lifting the debris scene, and his turning down the offer at the end, but it's just covering for the fact that he had no arc whatsoever. All that happened is he leveled up.

And then the very end with May seeing him, while hilarious, reaffirmed to me that they're just throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks.

> I really liked seeing one of my favorite moments from the comics adapted

forgot pic

>penis parker

is this an actual thing? This felt very cringey when i watched it and no one in my cinema viewing laughed. I was watching with my niece and nephew and it made my very uncomfortable whenever they made that stupid fuckin jok. I thought that would have been the flattest joke of the film, but that ned "porn" joke was terrible.
Eh, pajeet flash was a terrible character anyway and not a very good bully

Probably the most under appreciated part of that entire movie. Definitely one of the better scenes in the movie I thought

Indeed. It was great. But I really think it would have been perfect if instead of a tony stark voiceover we got the "with great power" yada yada speech. It would have been the perfect spot for it without it feeling shoe horned.

You were born.

user, this is shitty bait and you should feel bad for wasting both of our time
