No memeing, how practical is Loomis? I only see those grotesque little comic strip heads as results from it, but I've never actually looked into it. I did maybe the first 40 pages of Right Side of the Brain last year and it just felt like some good technique tips sprinkled into self-motivating pseudoscience.

you'd be surprised, if someone opens commissions and porn is on the table, people will pay. There's a certain below average artist I've seen around here that needs to brush up on certain things but still gets commission work.

I feel I don't know what level of discipline I want to hold myself to. I try to hold myself to a level of decent construction and it gets shit on driving me to continually try harder even though I have animation contemporaries who seem to care much less about it and seem much more successful than I am. I'm an idea guy™ so I shouldn't care as much, but my ideas are fairly demanding so I feel the need to try more.
