Seeing Fairchild's nipples was pretty neat.

you see titties ?

Based on the look of the animation, I was surprised at how 'adult' it was

Not that user, but yep. Perhaps a kind user will show a demonstration.

ah Fairchild does things to me
who's down for me to storytime some Gen13? any requests?

whatever you'd like to do user. maybe Superman/Gen 13 crossover?

It's kinda weird they haven't tried to push Gen13 more. It'd be ideal foil in Teen Titans for example.

I did that a few days ago, its probably still in the archives
also did the Spider-Man crossover

in this thread or start a new one?

might as well use this one. and thanks Ill check the archive. you can do another gen13 story then

with Wildstorm being relaunched as its own universe we will probably see them there at some point. But I agree, they could have done more with them

Fantastic Four/ Gen13 storytime
let's have some fun with two of the best teams to ever grace comics

...

>its a thicc issue

>Stan & Jim Lee* presents
*no relation

...

Damn Maguire's FF look good.

...

I didn't even know this was a thing.

Apparently it's not even on DVD?

I agree
dang

if Lee didn't sell Wildstorm to DC, it would of potentially gotten a full series

...

...

...

>Apparently it's not even on DVD?

No. The movie was produced and distributed by Touchstone ( Disney), Lee sold Wildstorm to DC after the movie was finished and Disney shelved it because it was a property owned by a rival company.

...

in another universe, Disney's Gen13 show was more popular than Teen Titans

...

One of the worst pieces of junk I've had the displeasure of seeing. I don't know anything about the comic, but if its anything like that animated film, then I'll stay clear of it.

...

> The McFarlane spaghetti webbing
Nice

why do you feel that way?

did they stop doing that?

>from the 1990s
>marketed towards people who were in their 20s at the time
>those people were gen x, aka gen 13
>we are literally on gen 15 or 16 now depending on who you ask

It's a little dated compared to the titans if you know the different names they used to have for gen x

...

...

makes me feel 2000 years old

...

Crappy voice acting work
A plot that goes nowhere
Boring characters

...

I'd never even heard of gen13

how the hell did IT get an animated movie?

...

It was a 90's thing.

Same weird magic that got The Maxx a cartoon on MTV, the 90's.

Image comic used to be the IT thing back then.

...

Best Disney movie

in 1995, peak poularity of comics, it had 6 top selling books in top 60 comics sold

I like you

has anyone here been reading Warren Ellis The Wild Storm?

I'm liking it thus far. I had read very little Wildstorm stuff prior so I was a bit confused at first but after looking into the 90s and 00s stuff, I "get" the characters and world a bit more. Overall I really like the pacing and art.

It had six different titles?

in 1996, they had 16 different comics in the top 100

issues I meant
it was the most popular comic team in the world for a few years

Think OP meant Gen 13 had 6 of the top 60 selling comics one year.

badass

yeah been drinking all day, my typing isn't top tier right now

...

...

...

...

Yeah its pretty good

...

Nah, if I'm going to read a Wildstorm comic it's going to have to be Jim Lee era

...

nice

...

...

That last batch of DC collection solicits finally had a trade for WildCATS including the crossovers with Cyberforce.
I'd like to have WildCATS up to the end of Moore's run in trades.

...

that'd be nice
I just don't understand why Lee hasn't done a ton of stuff for the line, it all seemed half assed

...

Can you also post the issues with the same writer/artist as Empowered. Those were the best when it was storytimed in full.

...

Warrren's whole run? I'll do the entire thing during the week thats like 30 issues total
Grunge saves the World is like my favorite thing ever too

just got in this thread

the fuck is that thing

...

its horny

A shameless ripoff of Lockheed.

ta-da
hope you enjoyed

Weird synchronicity.
I just watched that yesterday for the first time.
I looked for the movie once about a year ago and couldn't find it anywhere.
Then yesterday I figured my favorite online archive probably has it.

Honestly some of the voice actors were really phoning it in, but Mark Hamill is god damn incredible.
I feel like this movie should have been a series that played on MTV.
I enjoyed it, reminded me of stuff like Gargoyles or Roswell Conspiracies.

Can some post a timestamp?

Should have had nipples

Up

What nips? you mean the ones that disappeared when she mutated?

then again, i was happy enough to see her barbie boobies

Pretty good as the set-up to a series, but since it never became one, it's like a porn without a money shot.
However, given that we've gotten season 5 of Samurai Jack, an animated version of The Killing Joke (albeit a very disappointing one), and the long awaited Hey Arnold! Jungle Movie, a Gen 13 series wouldn't be TOO much out of the question.
Also, I heard the comic ended with everyone dying. Is it still worth picking up?

Never. There's a scene with breasts, but they're nipple-less.

Those jaw lines. What the fuck!

That's Kevin Maguire for ya. Good facial expressions but weak jawlines.

Yeah, they should have went the Heavy Metal 2000 route. HM2K is terrible but some people still watch it because of the tits.

There are a few better resolution copies floating around on YT, but they're in German and Russian. No one has ever bothered to take the old DIVX encode's audio and match it with one of the better video releases

I was about to say, I watched this on Youtube while up late one night.

Interesting adaptation to say the least.

Having just seen, it was rather interesting. Teenage girls in very lewd situation, some mild course language and a bit of graphic violence. More comic properties need this treatment.

yes, they're fun while they last

It's really good. If you like 90s Image or cheesecake I would say start from the beginning while keeping in mind that it was J. Scott Campbell's first comic and the art gets better quickly after the first miniseries. If you don't like those things I would say just skip to the Adam Warren run, it's an all-around top tier superhero comic no matter what your tastes are. Now that you've seen the movie you've probably seen enough to get what's going on.

And yeah, they die but they came back later
