If Krypto got uncharacteristically angry at a Metropolis petty-criminals and killed him, do you Think Supes would put the dog down?

He'd have to in real life, but if it happened in a comic batman would help supes find out that the dog was mind controlled and save him at the last second.

>He'd have to in real life
I mean, if Superman existed in real life no law enforcement agency would really be able to enforce jack shit on him.

Correct, but supes grew up on a farm and would know when to put an animal down.

That or lock the dog up in the fortress.

Phantom Zone

Fuck you, Krypto is a good boy

eh, dogs are capable of a lot of violence when provoked, I think a lot more when the dog has superpowers
but animals escape from there all the time

I want a comic about this, but because we are currently in a "Superman has to be really wholesome to the point of being saccharine to overcompensate for the New 52" phase, it won't happen

How has Krypto NOT killed anyone yet? In current canon he's got the intelligence of a normal dog, right? Yet he's as strong as a kryptonian. Regular dogs cause enough property damage when they are bored/angry as is. Remember when krypto used heat vision on Supergirl just because he didn't trust her? How has he not bitten a mugger in half or scratched up against a building to the point of collapse or infected the world with super-fleas or chased a car into the ocean? Bizzaro is threat not out of malice, but because of subpar intelligence. The same should be true of krypto.

wait, its still canon he lasered Supergirl at some point?

>How has Krypto NOT killed anyone yet?
he has killed before, he even save superman by killing kryptonite man, it's just superman keeps him in the fortress of solitude

wait, which Kryptonite Man in which continuity?

>we are currently in a "Superman has to be really wholesome to the point of being saccharine to overcompensate for the New 52" phase
So did you start reading comics yesterday or the day before yesterday?

Before the New52, Superman spent an issue having a picnic with Lois, Supergirl and the Kents. And that's all that happened.

He's talking about "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?"

oh, bullshit, that is blatantly an "imaginary story", as non-canon as it can get without literally being a fan-creation.

>eh, dogs are capable of a lot of violence when provoked,

If the dog is provoked then it renders the whole point moot.

He'd supertoss him to death, of course.

>the vets try to give him the needle
>it breaks

Whats this? will Superman have to snap his own Dog's Neck?

A dog's behavior is very often a reflection of how their owner treats them. Can you see Krypto's Owner, which is to say, Superman mistreating his dog to the point where it's violently distrustful of people?

Krypto's more intelligent than normal dogs. He's not got human level intellect, he still thinks and acts like a dog but he's able to understand complex ideas like a moral code. Krypto would never get that angry because he understands reason and logic.

See

>people believe this shit
>he was a good dog, this is so uncharacteristic of him
>he dindu nuffin
