The only reason that they credit single people for writing in rick and morty is because Harmon wants everyone in the writers room to have had their name on a script at some point. (They also get bonus pay when they are credited as writer).
Everyone complained about the female writing credit on episode 2 but the truth is, she only wrote 1 line in the entire episode.

A writer gets assigned a script. They do the first draft. Their name is put on it.
After that the script is "tabled"- the whole room does a rewrite. After that the showrunner does their pass. If it's Dan, he rewrites almost the entire thing.
Because of residual rules, everyone agrees to let the "original" writer get sold credit even though very little (if any) of what they wrote remains
So it's not "random" you fucking armchair quarterback dipshit. It's causal. That said, the script may not have any of the "writer"a work in it at all
While there have been a few bad episodes of rick and morty written by men. It is not a good start that the 2 episodes written by women have been pretty unfunny and boring.

2. The same outrage about poor writing happened when episodes Get Schwifty and Interdimensional Cable aired, but they're the popular and referenced episodes, also written by men. Further proof anons are contrarian and only hate episodes because they're popular.

It's early in the season and I'm not surprised that the writers are focusing a lot of time on character relationships as opposed to randumb space nonsense that anons falsely believe were present in every single previous episode. We've had episodes that directly focused on Beth and Jerry's relationship in really spelled-out ways:
