What kind of cartoon Sup Forums wants?

A good one

Nah, someone wrote a better Stephen Sup Forumsnig cartoon.

Maybe Sup Forums can't stand the fact that these shows don't take themselves seriously.
Maybe Sup Forums wants "serious" cartoons, like Batman TAS or the Roswell cartoon.

You mean:
>much of Sup Forums is excited for new thing
>time passes
>parts of Sup Forums that still like it don't feel the need to post
>parts that are disappointed do feel like posting
>time passes
>only parts of Sup Forums still talking about thing are haters and trolls

Sup Forums, from those on the board who only lurk and very rarely post to those who post multiple times an hour on the regular. Sup Forums still likes most good shows.

If you want to see how Sup Forums really feels about something, you have to observe and maybe run a poll every once in a while. I've seen it several times. Look at how many posts the subject gets and how diverse the posts are in style, length, grammar and whether an image accompanies it. Continue to gauge threads as pieces of the subject (episodes, issues, etc.) are released and threads that pop up between releases. See how the threads react to news of the subject. Then, as the subject nears its termination, carefully watch for reposts. As a subject reaches the end of its production cycle (or as it founders toward cancellation), I have observed that people feel a need to vent their grievances while the board still has its focus on the subject.

Autism: the post

Nobody thought TLH was any good aside from the pedos.

GF is not like a King story, because the King story most like GF (IT) included a graphic kiddie sex scene. GF would have been better if it had included that.

One that stays good

Is Dipper circumcised?

Think Hirsch said their family is jewish, so I'm assuming yes

and he's American

The cartoon Sup Forums dreams of watching would be an overarching paranormal adventure in a comfy functional family setting, with human characters.
It would have one big mystery, above other subplots, to solve through little hints left among every episode since the first one; Plus tons of deep lore carefully hidden in the form of little background details or script innuendoes (rather than spoken out loud by characters); Plus understatements of a platonic incest relationship between some characters.

It would be set in a kind of remote semi-rural place anyone's childhood memories could relate to. It would be drawn in a thin line 90's cartoon style (with elbows, knees and everything), with desaturated color tones. It would only rarely get 2nd degree, have next to no pop culture reference and would never be used as the creator's mouthpiece.

Character development would be related to the plot, rather than their own problems. Male characters would be strong and sometimes snarky, yet average enough to be relatable. Female characters would be smart and daring yet shy.

The main vilain would always stay out of sight, so that characters would start wondering wether he actually exist. The main mystery would span over several generation and would have a world-shattering reveal.

The end of the series would make you rethink the way you saw it since the first episode (the same way Sixth Sense did).

The feel of the show would oscillate between comfy and creepy.

The lack of buildup was more disappointing than the ending, which was fucking brilliant.

Stop personifying Sup Forums as one person

>Gravity Falls is a weird place because...[spoilers] it is a weird place![/spoilers]
>Fucking brilliant

If you expected a fucking research thesis on how the place came to be, I'm afraid you're seriously fucked in the head user.

You forgot Samurai Jack.

Yet it lacked a preteen orgy scene like It had.

Even Goosebumps do the mystery genre better than GF

you forgot the last step
>legitimate critics say their piece and move on
>entire thread is now troll, waifu and /or fetishposters who constantly and compulsively repeat the same posts in every threat, as well as the occasional baited lurker

people sometimes call for separating comics and cartoons, but i think maybe "new stuff" and "old stuff" should be segregated sections of Sup Forums

what else Sup Forums?

Sup Forums is just the new Sup Forums at this point

hate everything that is not perfect

>Sup Forums liked TLH
Bait , trash comedy since the start

My favorite cartoons post RS/AT are WoY , Gumball and Clarence.

>hate everything that is not perfect
this

Don't deny that Sup Forums expected to like TLH, was hyped as fuck before it aired and enjoyed the first episodes.

But the first episodes were trash. It was Lakebottom tier.
That pool episode is just awfull.

So... Sup Forums's ideal cartoon would basically be Stranger Things but as a cartoon?

Sup Forums is just reddit without the usernames. We even fish for >(you)s here like reddit does upvotes.

whats R&M?
