A photo animated show recycling 1950's black and white photos

It was creepy.

Just an animator, his daughter and her friends goofing off with a brand new medium.

So how much of the face was part of a real photo? How much was mixed and matched from other photos to build a face?

Is that actually the story behind this show?

I use to take so much acid after school and watch this.

best was when my french class was same day as an episode with hvy nanette manoir.

It's been years, over a decade, almost two. I've had a daughter since. I've moved across the country. I've lived a third of my life, and still sometimes when it's dark and quiet, I hear it. It comes into my head. It whispers to me. I never leaves me be...
My name is Angela, hey hello. Welcome to my very own show. I'll introduce my friends to you, oh no it's ninipoo...

>tfw this show is way funnier as an adult

Wait, all I remember her from was the opening on digimon the movie, she actually had her own show???

yes

was it bad?

Bit of an understatement.
I honestly have no idea that they were aiming to do with this show

If they would have chosen a different artstyle, would this show still be hated as much? It seems to be pretty standart as far as I can judge from the snippets I watched (normal girl gets into fights with her arrogant classmate)

It was really unique, aired in the era when every show was trying to reinvent the medium. Those few years were full of rediculous ideas taken full throttle to their limits. It was bad in a kind of endearing way.

Taking the style out of it basically makes it Lizzie McGuire, so yeah I think it'd be better liked.

Was I the only one that liked the opening scene of digimon the movie?

i've always wanted to fuck angela

I just watched it for the first time, it's pretty good imo but as a kid I probably wouldn't have liked it

>not Nanette

>recycling 1950's black and white photos
What I thought it was from a stock photo website

they hired face models to take photos of

dont ever fuck frenchies, lest you wanna contract the retreats

nah

The reason pokemon movies were better than digimon movies

>German poop

The idea alone is funny to me, even though I can't understand it.

You wish.

I remember that it was actually quite popular at my school when it was airing, and that it was part of a push for 2D animators to try experimental techniques after CGI animation started really disrupting the industry (at least that's what I read after the fact).

This still plays on the starz kids and family channel at 5am

a funny cartoon. if you gave it a chance and got past the strange faces

No fucking way.

Fran Bow?

She's actually from Quebec and anglophone

I remember this.

>white girl refuses to let a black guy sit down near her
different times

It had some kind of digimon crossover or some shit.

that's all I remember.

Holy fuck! you are right

Damn that's pretty cute.

Also,
>that episode where she forced nanette to worship her feet while daydreaming

Strange shit
