ya, pretty expensive for a middle class family

Yes. That's ridiculous.

Basic health insurance costs me $350 AUD a year.
It covers most important things, and frankly I make the money back based on deductions from dental checkups anyhow.

Per month
?????

Would be expecting that per Year.

I don't pay a cent for healthcare, it's all covered by our medicare system except for an xray and blood test I needed a couple of years ago that cost me $80.

>hurr public services are bad because da gubament is stealing my moniez
>have to pay 2k a month for health insurance
can't make this shit up
lolbertarians BTFO for the gorillionth time

That's 220% of my monthly mortgage payment and I live in a brand new 1750sq ft house.

You should get insurance, m8.
Otherwise if you ever need surgery you'll be out $5000.

It's like they expect everyone in the house to be making 15 dollars an hour. Mom, dad, little timmy, and the retard stoner.

But unless you need surgery every two months it'll be cheaper to pay out of pocket.

>HEALTHINSUR 29.61

Biweekly deduction for a BCBS Cadillac plan.

Get a real job.

Either you are a richfag or you have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm very healthy, and as stated, only ever needed to spend $80 on an xray and a blood test.

Still can't fathom that Americans could pay $2200/mo on that stuff

Just looked up Bupa for basic cover

How many times to you and senpai expect to get sick or injured and need treatment?

this, the best way to make back the insurance premiums is with dental checkups.
But that is if it doesnt cost an arm and a leg in the first place.

Btw I looked at healthcare.gov.

Single male, 21yo with $50k expected income for 2017 (a little bit higher next year but usually around 40-ish), Michigan.

This is what I could get with no tax credits or rebates.

Even if the OP pic is for a family of 4 together, that's still a decent chunk of change.

Unironically: Thanks Obama.

The NHS costs around £2000 per person per year, £8k a year for a family of 4.

I'm confused. You have to PAY for medical treatment? Lmao how very third world of you.

dog bless america.
truly the land of the free.

>Land of the Free

>$27588 a year for insurance

holy fuck thats insane

That's pretty much what I make in a year.

in what other """"""first world""""" country are you free to die like a dog in the street of appendicitis?

>single male
>family of 4 includes 2 children
Are you a literal, fucking idiot, or do you enjoy being fucked in the ass?

Don't forget that whenever you have a treatment, you have to pay first, then get refunded.
And you're not refunded 100%
Everything is not covered

Topest kek
dog bless america.
land of the free

You should talk, tire fodder.

Never was, never will be.

That depends; what are the terms and deductibles for those plans?

trigger the burger

I don't pay this. I just checked how much I would pay if I had to. Like I said, I pay a ~$30 biweekly deduction.

I can see why this will be a reality by 2025

>rob you
>starve you
>impose economic crises on top of that

>Don't forget that whenever you have a treatment, you have to pay first, then get refunded.
That's not how it works. You get service. And after the insurer and provider process the claim you get billed.

my health insurance that i get right now with my coverage i usually don't pay anything. or if I do pay its very minimal comparable to about $2 or $3 in your money

I'm going to have to deal with this next year.

I was paying $110/mo for a fairly standard PPO plan with a $3500 deductible. That plan is gone now, the closest equivalent choice is $330/mo with a $7000 deductible.

Basically Obamacare tripled the cost of my health insurance and doubled the deductible. There are cheaper plans available, but they are all garbage.

Fuck this country

Get a job with coverage. Nothing else makes sense.

But even my employer will be doubling our contribution to the healthcare plan starting January.

Yup, that's a lot of money, and that shit is just going to go up.

Why should fucking health insurance costs force me to go work for a corporation? I do small business stuff, and do fairly well at it. Obamacare is pretty much anti-entrepreneurship and anti-small business as fuck. This law totally punishes creative people, entrepreneurs, and independent contractors.

I'm sure Obamacare has fucked up corporate healthcare spend too. In most companies, that's the biggest expense after payroll.

>Obamacare is pretty much anti-entrepreneurship and anti-small business as fuck. This law totally punishes creative people, entrepreneurs, and independent contractors.
Yes it does. Yet liberals rally to praise it.

Most "middle class" family's make 3000-5000 a month. So yeah that's most your income gone before rent, car payments, etc.. Then you have to pay the deductible before health insurance picks up 1 cent

>I don't pay a cent for healthcare
You're an idiot. What do you think taxes are?

I earned less than $18000 this year to June due to losing my job.

You don't pay tax on anything under $18000, you get it all back

>Obamacare is pretty much anti-entrepreneurship and anti-small business as fuck. This law totally punishes creative people, entrepreneurs, and independent contractors.
why do you think (corporations) lobbied for it

I guess being worthless has its perks.

In America you would pay 20% of income for Just federal taxes on anyone making over 15000 (poverty line).

BEING
BRITISH
NEVER
FELT
SO
FUCKING
GOOOOOOOOD

Most people making $5k a month have healthcare for their family through their jobs you dumb NEETS

I have 2 kids. I'm on my company insurance and my baby momma and little bastards are on Medicare. Also have food stamps and WIC. If we were married we couldn't do shit because I make around $55k/yr give or take some because I have a shitty back and workers comp only pays half salary after 6 weeks.

Holy shit, that's pretty expensive.
We have a mandatory healthcare, when you are attached to a local clinic, that covers most basic shit. It's free, inb4 taxes, but it covers only so much, service is shit, sometimes they don't have equipment, medications, you still might have to pay just to support a doctor eho treated you. We have a lot of problems with our healthcare.
Then there is private clinics, that charge you handsomely. Prise differs from place to place. Equipment is mostly better, personnel might treat you better, but there is no guarantee that treatment will be effective.
And we have insurance that costs somewhat 450$ a year that includes treatment in private clinics.
So yeah, 2k$ a month is a robbery.

how much do you shell out monthly for your medical plan? is it sufficient?

Hopefully trump will attack this obamacare bullshit and get our health insurance costs back to what they were. I doubt hillary will do a thing.

I don't pay anything.

I've heard about this before. Is this legal? Can the babby mama and your kids reside with you, or are they living separately?

Healthy young man. Will get insurance in my 50s. I will pay the least and be fully covered for when risk appears.

I pay $28/mo for bcbs bronze. I work at a pharmacy so my insurance is heavily discounted.

Hillary is going gone on and she will institute UHC because Obacare has millions of people dependent on it and the only place to go now is socialized medicine or crash the system.
It's free healthcare and massive taxes on the rich or total destruction of the system. There is no choice.

They live in the same home. I just claim I live with my mom and my lover pays me rent somehow with no job.

You need health insurance, goy, what if you break both your arms and can't work to pay your health insurance? :^) :^)

No, sorry, you have to pay for your GP, dentist, glasses, everything else. :^)

You just don't get married. Also get sec 8. Men are totally unneeded now so your best bet is to get a woman pregnant, don't marry and live off her benefits.

god damnit this shit makes me so angry. do you know how much your employer pays?

This is how it should be imo

Basic care so you don't die or get sick = free
Awesome private care = you pay the premium but you get help when you need it

Except those with private heath often have to pay a gap or undisclosed extras on top of their private health insurance for even basic surgeries.
Do you have coverage for an anesthesiologist? If not say goodbye to +2k of your shekels straight away

Private insurance is a huge con in Australia, people fork out a shitload of money a year thinking that they will be covered for everything, find out the hard way that they aren't, then pay twice anyway for the privileged.

I'll get info after I unclog this toilet.

I realize a lot of niggers/underclass are doing stuff like this. But is the government so incompetent that they don't catch on, ever? I mean, I'm not a moralfag, if there's an exploit -- I'm going to do it too. I'm just worried about a fruad charge down the line. Some IRS fags busting my door down and saying 'gotcha'. Shit like that.

I'm an ignorant NEET. Don't you get more benefited by claiming dependents and shit? Also, I've heard the sec 8 waiting lists are like 10 years long in places like here: California.

Oh yea. I even get a tax credit that is like free cash
All in all I get about 35 k worth of benefits.
I don't see why anyone is working.

All I can think off is those guys still running during the explosion, probably died of cerebral hemorrhage or hydrostatic shock before they drowned

I've got a decent job as an engineer making $6,000 a month. Yes 2,300 a month is more than my mortgage note.

The gov has never caught shit like this because they aren't going to invest billions in an organization that runs it down and who wants to go on a war against st the poor? They are elected officials and in the case of the democrats the more people receiving gov cash the better you do
The GOP is doomed primarily because it is the party of capitalism and people largely prefer socialism, even if they won't admit it.

No idea what my employee pays.

You're going to think I'm trolling you, for giving you my life situation and aspiration.

I'm currently on NEET bucks for mental illness. It's gray, but my case wasn't really fraudulent. The government gives me $890 a month in CA and that's it. About 2/3 of a McJob.

I've decided that trying to make this last, is just a path towards misery and suicide.

Right now, I'm going back to college and I'm getting (not trolling) a degree in education --- I'm planning on being a teacher. So yeah, 55k salary, maybe a bit more, out here in CA -- is my 'dream'.

Do you think I actually have to be crazy to want to work for a measly 55k, when I don't have to?

Sorry, my post is very r9k-ish. I'm have doubts about my college classes. Don't know if I should withdrawal and accept the NEET life.

terrible. yes. even for a 2-income household. that's more money than most people pay in rent/mortgage.

Well, out of my pay check last year I paid £4300 in National insurance and 9200 in Income tax

so for the medicare its really supposed to be the 4.3k so £358 a month...

so yes that is expensive

i would buy me a private medical plan (£300 a month for a brilliant one here in uk) but i still have to pay my national insurance so no point.

If that is your dream then follow it but honestly you could make more working as a server, hiding income and smiling the shit out of the system. 1/3 of all Californians get medi-cal and that alone means they probably will be unable to pay for the schools.

Its actually cheaper for me this year.

Be me

>single male
>age 28
>employer pays around $10,000 per year for me
> $75 per month out of my paycheck
>$0 annual deductible.
>Max total out or pocket per year $1000
>No limit annually or for life

Join a union.... actually get first world benefits

is there any penalty for lying about your household income? it seems like premiums are entirely based off of what you earn.

>each year your tobacco status defaults to "tobacco user"

Fuck those kike scum

>$25k/year

Hope you don't plan on saving anyrhing

tell me about monthly premiums

why are they called monthly premiums instead of simply calling it "fee" or "payment" like any other contract / subscription in existence?
Is it to confuse uneducated colored people?

I've considered under the table stuff, Thanks. I just think every day about my situation. I'm at some weird crossroads.

>It's free healthcare and massive taxes on the rich

>taxes on the working and middle classes.

had to fix that for you, the rich don't pay tax.

No, you can lie but the check your taxes when you file. Just work for cash and ride the benefits. Working hard and starting your own business is a stupid idea now so just accept the ha dots and coast

Just imagine how much Obama and all the senators are paying a month for Obamacare.

I remember my hospital bill (before insurance) for 3 doctor appointments, 2 MRIs, 1 CT scan, and 1 CAT scan.

$53,000

Thank god I only had a $1000 deductible - getting insurance is a gamble worth taking IMO.

it's just insurance vocabulary. they've used the word "premium' for centuries.

You do not want to bust your ass taking care of kids who will just end up on benefits anyway so get every penny you can
Food stamps, WIC, Free phone, Obama care, etc you can live ok and get by with no effort.
Maybe fake some disorder and sell t be pills for some extra money

Yes.

My coverage before Obamacare was 90/10, (I paid the 10 percent) $200 yearly deductible- and $20 charge to visit a Doctors office. No monthly payment. (this was through my employer).

After Obamacare it went to 70/30, $6000 yearly deductible, $300 a month charge and over half the doctors that accepted the insurance quit accepting it.

Fuck Obamacare.

I'm thinking of disability. I can get $3100/mo with 2 kids. My disability insurance would also pay off my house and car. Maybe I should fall at work....

I know, that teaching is shit work. But at least I will have summers off, and benefits again. Plus, I won't feel shame anymore every day, at being a person who's leeching off of society. I want to do the right thing... Sup Forums has taught me that I should avoid degenerate behavior. kek

It's so tempting to be a welfare queen like you say, I will give yo that. Especially, if I can find a girl to knock up, and help me get more out of the system.

This is a toughie.

Kek, crashing the system would be better than Obamacare at this point, you can't just inject millions of people who take more than they give into the system and expect it to cope, but that's what Obamacare is doing and we're already seeing the consequences.

>massive taxes on the rich
The "rich" they want to tax aren't a bunch of Scrooge McDucks hiding all our wealth away in grain silos, it's the middle class and business owners like it always is. They'll get taxed to death to subsidize Shanequa and her ten kids with diabeetus (all of whom will spend their lives on welfare as they each pump out another ten kids with diabetes), while the real upper-class laughs all the way the bank.

how is this shit going to end??? I know I'm going to buy the $330/mo insurance because muh catastrophic coverage. It just puts me in a blind rage that I can't continue my old plan and have to shell out over $4000/yr just to be covered in case I get hit by lightning or some shit. fuck this gay country

It's really fucking stupid. And Hillary wants to EXPAND this shit. I'm 22 and I'll be off my dad's plans in I believe two more years and frankly it terrifies me that this is what I'll have to deal with if I don't insurance paid by my employer.

How fucking asleep are liberals to be supporting this shit? This has gone on long enough either fix it or get rid of it.

Fuck, it's okay to admit you're wrong sometimes.

I pay €117 a year

covers everything to €61 000

Most liberals are Neets or artists:

artists as in they draw a check. (welfare/ssi).

Or rich.

They never dealt with employer medical coverage.

>I don't pay a cent for healthcare
>people actually believe this

>if I don't insurance paid by my employer.

Any half decent job has healthcare. I was working 2days a week in college and could've gotten healthcare through them I'm I wanted

Maybe he just lives in a country that isn't retarded??? (which says a lot, considering, Spain)

Which is still pricey as fuck. Costs for individual insurance nearly trippled in the time Osama has been in office.

I hate to think what would have happened if I had a wife and kids to care for......

Okay that makes me feel better. My only real employment experience was Wal-Mart back in 2013 (full time student currently) and they did everything they could to NOT pay their employees health insurance. Was pretty bullshit

Yes. I costs my family (of 4 too) 120 euros yearly.

Here's what $2299 per month can get you in Nashville, TN:

A nice condo in downtown just minutes away from everything.

Yes.
Obamacare is insanely expensive.
