You're in charge of making a Star Fox cartoon. How would you do it? It needs to follow the tone of the game series itself. So none of that Fox in Space junk by that awful individual. In fact, for inspiration watch the official animated short:

If Sonic can get at least one successful cartoon, then Star Fox should be capable of doing the same and that's with the inclusion of many characters that only recently became canon like Fay and Miyu.

I'd make it a well fed Cowboy Bebop with fur and feathers. They always have work since they are the good guys instead of neutral like the crew of the Bebop.

TalesSpin IN SPACE/Space Pulp Psuedo-Prequel, no WIN OUR WAR for us mission from the start and avoid having SF have direct interaction with General Pepper for the first half or so, instead build up with small missions given by CHARACTER OF THE EPISODE and occasional encounter with Bill, Kat as supporting characters, and have General Pepper finally contract one for the Series Finale 2 Parter, that works like it could been what makes Pepper decide hire Star Fox in the games aside from Nepotism.

Star Wolf are in Wolf, Leon, Dengar formation, introduced one by one by the opposite side, with one exception (Likely Wolf) that has been hired by the same CHARACTER OF THE DAY as Star Fox with some teethclenched teamwork, this heightens their threat level since all 4 of Star Fox have issues taking on even one of them at the start of the series, and allows the introduction episode give a satisfactory explanation as of why exactly they are the rival of that particular Star Fox member, Oikonny is a addition to them late series but appears earlier, affiliated with Venom, but not Star Wolf.

Panther gets a episode or two (but not a two parter) as a unaffiliated "petty" criminal antagonist and remains unaffiliated, the guy is tailor made for both a heist and kidnapping plot, possibly have him as a "Starter Villain" that steals a Arwing or something.

Krystal isn't mentioned and doesn't show up but Cerinias destruction is offhand, which infers that she is running around somewhere for those who care.

Maybe loosely based on the Nintendo Power comics?

>he likes a soulless promotional animation over A Fox in Space.

Fox in Space is exactly with the tone of the games though, just a bit slower paced. The quips, the relationship between the characters, it just lacks the bombastic anime-esque heroism that the games contrast against the more subdued character dynamics.

So to answer your question; go fuck yourself I'm making Fox in Space: TAS.

Yep. Just give the dude more support and some staff then throw it on Toonami

what if Starfox takes place in Rimbaverse?

Make it a hardcore gay porno and paywall it on patreon to furries.

>Fay and Miyu
Oh shoot that's right they're canon now since they released SF2
I like this mostly, except the exclusion of Wasted Nintendo Character number 29. There are ways to use Krystal, just not the way the games ever did.
A younger me would hate me for saying this, but introduce her after the Lylat Wars arc as a member of Star Wolf to replace Oikonny who eventually goes off on her own and becomes the Catwoman of the series. Proceed to Foe Yay with Fox while also dancing around recurring villain Panther episodes so people can scream about which ships they want to happen.
And give her actual character outside of "Hurr I am blue fox with bikini boob who also says weird psychic stuff sometimes"
You can take her and place her in a pretty interesting story, having had her planet destroyed she proceeds to do what she can to survive only to slowly warm up to her rival mercenaries later.

Wouldn't be that hard, you have a cast with fairly clear personalities that play off each other well, so you can do both adventurous stories and some comedic slice of life stuff inbetween. Space bounty hunters chasing down space criminals pretty much writes itself.

Start of with the main cast of Fox, Falco, Peppy, Slippy and the General. Introduce Star Wolf in the first season finale and Krystal in the first episode of season 2. That episode would be a very abridged version of Adventures with Krystal instead of Fox.

Then keep her around as a regular member of the crew and a love interest to Fox. She'd be interesting because she's frome a more shamanistic, spiritualistic culture than the others so you could play her as both the clueless foreigner or the wise mystic, depending on what the story demands.

Keep her in the loincloth do show that she's different from the other character in culture and demeanour. Okay, no, just kidding, it's so that I can jack off to her. Also, have some scenes of her adjusting to her new life with the crew, you know, just scenes of her doing mundane things like brushing her fur or sleeping in a real bed after a long time to show her getting usee to that life. No, just kidding, it's so that I can jack off to her.

I don't know who the blue character is, but there's this one guy in the furry community that is infamous for commissioning ridiculous amounts of porn of him and the fox. Apparently he lives with his parents and spends all of his disposable income on commissions and I'm talking hundreds, maybe thousands at this point

asian surgeon?

>being this fucking ignorant

As long as Peppy is voiced by Jim Ross, this series would get a chance by me.

>80s cartoon style with a villain of the week and occasional character development that either gets fully fleshed out when the budget gets raised or never taken to consideration at all. You know, to make Sup Forums mad as hell.

Heres what will draw most of the inspiration from.

give all the funding to Matthew Gafford and his friends.

Watch A Fox in Space.

Thrundercats meets Ronin Warriors.

Animation is incestuous.

Incest you say?! What a splendid idea

whatever floats your boat, buddy.

This was better than expected, all things considered. I absolutely loved the 80's sci-fi feel of it all.

Didnt IDW want to make a Starfox comic?

PUPPETS!

The keyword is *want*. But you know Nintendo.

The the entire series is the Star Fox team accepting a contract to escort a fleet of colonists, manifest destiny/new frontier themes going for it.

Animals of Farthing Wood in space

What's wrong with fox in space besides the shitty animation, ugly art ms paint lookin art style, shitty voice acting, and 80s filter?

At least you're being honest
