What rabbit?

/thread

I won't deny I got chub when I heard her say that first time I watched the movie.

What a shitty knife vest.

Sequel when?

fuck outta here

soon, user.

this movie was so good that it felt like a mystical experience.

never

What the fuck are you talking about?

youtube.com/watch?v=27IbgnYwiII

>movie makes over 1 billion
>sequel can only be virtue signaling
Right, Disney hates money.

If not a sequel, I'd at least like to see a buddy cop TV series starring either Judy/Nick or 2 brand new characters with Judy/Nick making cameos.

The world of Zootopia is quite interesting in not just the animal population thing but the massive amounts of different biomes existing near each other lending many different cool ideas for episodes especially with a crime background. Just think of Bonkers but in a city with deserts, arctic, reefs, jungles and a less annoying protagonist.

If only Clyde was as fun to watch, he's basically a gutted version of Mr. Fox

This video proves the opposite of your point.

not my point.

As much as I'd love that, it'd betray the spirit of the source material. It'd be like Timon and Pumba but classier.

I WANT TO FUCK THAT RABBIT FUCK YOU MODS

What's your point?

So it's like a reverse furry?

disney is too busy tarnishing its "legacy" to care about some preachy furry movie.

>Generic anime girl
>better
Kek

>reverse furry
what?

Now we are talking

I think a reverse furry would be someone who wants to fuck an animalistic human, which would be something like this.

Man, why can't humans have purple eyes in real life?

...

...

...

every time

quality merch.

...

should kragle it first.

...

How is Zootopia lefty propaganda when it's "non-bunnies aren't allowed to call me cute" PC-speech-control Judy who's the racist and racist-joke Nick isn't?

it's called blackmail and entrapment, stupid bitch.

Both are federal offenses. Hope you like prison life.

One of the weaker parts of the film; who did Nick hustle with the popsicle scheme? It was clever entrepreneurship, not a scam. Nobody lost.

And to who could Judy play that recording that would mean bad things for Nick? Why is control of the recordings something she can trade for his cooperation?

Chief Bogo did nothing wrong. He was right, that stupid bitch is a bad cop.

She's a great criminal and racist agitator.

...

I like to imagine Bogo resented her because the mayor forced her on him to grandstand his affirmative action pandering.

That's exactly it. She got the job on affirmative action and NOT merit.

Then she proceeded to commit various felonies wearing a badge and then started a race riot.

>this cartoon from bumfuckingstan made on two pentiums wired together has better story than zootopia

also have better waifus

/trash/ threads literally had the same discussion yesterday.
actually was that you?

This looks like it's from a PS2 game.

What is it.

God I wish. Had i know there was a thread devoted to shitting on that stupid bitch I would have been there.

funny enough, Zootopia courts are corrupt, too. based on the way the evidence against bellweather was collected and presented she would have been exonerated instead of prosecuted.

Then Bellweather could open up a civil lawsuit against Judy, and the ENTIRE ZPD. She would have won, and Bogo would be fired and Judy imprisoned.

Nick, by law, would have had to testify against Judy

A neat turn with the rams at the end of the movie. It is a cliche to use predators for thugs in animal-people movies but the rams were successfully made quite threatening.

Speaking of which, those rams could have filed attempted murder charges against Judy.

they were the bad guys from the very beginning

youtube.com/watch?v=hlzH9GJgoHY

...

Also Mayor Lionheart despite being proven innocent by the film's ending was still locked up in a prison cell. Corrupt indeed as you said.

The shock-collar version looks like heavy-handed shit.

He wasn't innocent; he had the drugged animals kidnapped and imprisoned to hide them when it should have been a matter for the police.

you're way too angry for this

it's the superior version.

yeah, stupid kids couldn't handle anything heavier than "kids starrtled me when i was a boy"

His Secretary, Bellweather, was running a drug ring, too.

It's edgelord-tier blunt and stupid.

It's a good movie (unlike some highly-praised kids' movie which are merely OK) but it's kind of wonky in places. The whole second half feels slightly rushed. Not enough to lack coherence but it's noticeable how quickly the Judy-moping-at-home or the reconciliation-with-Nick scenes are over.

This especially strange as after the appropriately brisk prologue the movie slows way down for about 25 minutes. It's not dull but nothing happens in this stretch except Judy being down and dropping in stuff that's only important later, like the stolen plant bulbs.

Seems like it would have been easy to take five or ten minutes from this meandering section and expand the back end of the film...but maybe that wouldn't actually help. The story beats are pretty stock (antagonists thrown together, bond, part on bad terms, come back together, triumph and friendship confirmed) so maybe it's the very lubricating swiftness that kept me from being bored by the fact that I've seen it all before.

Gazelle shouldn't have been in the movie; was clearly there just to clumsily promote whatshername's music.

The film's true strength was in the details like facial expressions and body language. If there's a sequel (har har) I hope they let it expand into this area rather than doing another cliche cartoon plot.

bune is cute

Seems like Zootopia threads bring really shitty trolling whenever they appear. Anytime they show up in Sup Forums everyone drops their IQ by 50 points, and the one time I saw the /trash/ threads there was some dude spamming pictures of IRL people and issuing death threats. Why is that?

The theme of prejudice and "racial" stereotyping is more sophisticated than expected in a kids' film where I wouldn't be surprised just to see "muh oppres'on" but it succeeds by not being a strict analogy (predators are not black people) and by actually having some subtlety and complexity.

eg: the joke about "elephants never forget" was funny in its own context but also an argument about how stereotypes can distract from simply observing reality; that hippie guy went to the elephant instead of trying to answer the question himself because of the proverb.

The most obvious piece of complexity is how Judy is both victim (as a small mammal) and perpetrator (against predators and foxes especially) of prejudice but what I really liked is how in the early parts of the film she's fussy about speech (she chides Clawhauser for calling her "cute" because he isn't a bunny) and Nick is "insensitive" throughout (calls her "carrots" and "fluff", plays with Bellweather's wool, complains about wolves howling) but it's she, not him, who has the real problem with accepting people for who they really are. That's a criticism of the PC focus on "politeness" (i.e. social control) instead of individual substance.

See also how at the end they are both playing with "racist" terms like "dumb bunny" and "sly fox" instead of allowing themselves to be worried by them.

Judy's hammy play-acting after Nick fakes biting her is an even stronger example; one-sided hunting and killing is the underlying tension between predator and prey species even though it's been left far in the past. Judy proved she still worried about it when Nick provoked her after the press conference but here she is mocking the idea. It's like an American black guy joking about slavery.

In a film so much about stereotypes, I'm disappointed that homo stereotype Clawhauser didn't offhand a comment about having a wife at the end of the film.

I guess having a gay in the film was more important that serving its themes. Disney.

Tell that to the animators and story writers. They like that version more. That was their brain child.

Disney came in and turned all of the characters into dickholes who break the law.

What, people don't make ever make bad films? Their baby is ugly.

And the fan base clogs the internet with zootopia porn.

Remember your place in the nerd hierarchy.

Meaning you are at the ass bottom furfag

that ws the point, they wanted to prove that whites are the bad guys IRL.

>And the fan base clogs the internet with zootopia porn.
Where does this even come from? Proto-zootopia wouldn't have any porn?

>nerd hierarchy.
I don't own any funkopops so I am merely a peasant.

i'm at Sup Forums not /trash/

How about you?

youtube.com/watch?v=tqlaPttudUc

so touching

wonder if they'll have kids in the sequel. I'm guessing if they do the males will be foxes and the females rabbits.

I'm in a thread discussing a recent American animated film.

Sometimes that works in reverse to add a sense of variety, like in The Amazing World of Gumball. So you don't expect the kids to be copies of their parents.

maybe. I'm just saying I've never seen something where they tried to make the offspring a combination of both species.

What the fuck is a /trash/?

So you're discussing Sing?

I couldn't get past the three minute mark.

...

brand new world!

okay, that's hot. Post more lewds.

Like an Eevee?

the land of the magical wonders, the underworld of Sup Forums, the house of Slaanesh, the place where our queen Trish lives

that would be cute. they could also play up the conflicted mixed breed angle. the character could desire to eat rabbits and then feel guilty/confused.

...

>there's a special place for degeneracy
>on Sup Forums
This place really has gone downhill.

When a show Sup Forums hates to like appears they send it there. Unless there's a current season going on RWBY for example

gosh, such a pervert user...

But there's no indication that predators in this setting have such feelings. The lack of it is a pretty important point, actually. Even when Nick is deliberately provoking Judy he doesn't bare his teeth or growl or anything. "Predators" simply don't eat other people in this cartoon animal world.

We got external confirmation that they eat processed insect protein instead, but they missed an opportunity to show that point on-screen.

whatever.

you mean /lgbt?

why don't people do this?

please dont bring more of this kind of people in our funhouse...

They do.

Rwby was in Sup Forums first before /trash/. It's just when the season ends they banish it to there
