you mean the ending scene right?

The Lorax had no good scenes, and the only good scenes it could have had got cut because they were too "dark"

>Ending Scene
>Good

Saying the Onceler "dun good" is a good ending for this slap in the face movie?

I think he meant the credits.

this

>once the shitty pop music stops, they play an orchestral score (the music is the best part of the movie) with dr seuss style drawings in the background for the entirety of the credits

yeah, it's pretty good. I teared up a bit.

I can see what he means

If you watch this ending with no prior knowledge of the movie, you get the feeling it's a touching end to a real emotional story of some kind

>shit movie has a deleted song that is GOAT

That Mike Myers Cat In the Hat movie also had one good scene. You know the one.

oh, so it's an hotel transylvania kinda deal

sad

This movie wasn't worth the amount of onceler porn and that one weird fangirl it spawned.

Concept art always looks better than the final product?
Yes.

>once-ler looks dopey and less like tumblrbait
>his family actually looks threatening

You mean UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Just say which scene it is. It's been at least ten years since I've seen that film. I don't remember.

...

easy like sunday morning

I tried to watch The Lorax but had to stop pretty early into the movie. I almost never do this

You start, user

>once the shitty pop music stops, they play an orchestral score

Why does every animated movie do this?

Wow, that movie really wasn't good on him.

I didn't grow up with Seuss's stories, since they weren't that known in my country, so I watched it without "nostalgia goggles".
But even then, it's really meh movie. Only scene that did anything for me was when the last tree falls.
I later watched the old cartoon version of the stories, and that version is better in general. Weirdly enough the 30 minute version tells a more fleshed out story than the feature length one, which I blame on the movie version having too much unneeded filler.

You would think it would be the other way around.

Having not seen this film I kind of agree.

Holy shit kill yourself.
The good scene was jokers ending monologue.

But they completely missed the mark on it by making Joker angry and reducing it to a fight scene.

The Once-ler should have been the only protagonist in the movie. The kids ruined it.

Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame is a very forgettable film, with the amazing 'Hellfire' song which steals the show and showed that the film would have heavily benefited from a PG or PG-13 rating.

This scene?

This flick was fun

This user knows what's up.

>"And my biggering is triggering my biggering!"

Well that was a dumb lyric.

It's "And my biggering is triggering more biggering!"

The only crime this movie committed is not including the superior music soundtrack into the movie.

...

I hope to the All-Mighty you're yanking my chain...
Or at least making a crappy Worldarf and Statler joke...
Unless.

>Megamind
>PRESENTATION!

>they planned on showing the oncler's face from the beginnig
Rigged. From. The. Start.
I'd rather the oncler be a gray character than a guy that actually looks evil. At least you could see how he turned from a guy with good intent, to a power mad miser, to a guy with remorse.
Still don't think it was necessary to show his face... or make this movie.

Any particular reason they didn't go with this song? It's pretty darn good.

But how does this fit with the rest of the songs in the movie?
>yo what if we turned a happy go lucky musical into an edgy rock opera? And then back again?

Though it does sound a lot like the song from the 2D movie during that scene. So props.
