Having other "good guys" willing to point out how retarded he is was pretty amusing.

he seems to have a better idea of what being a hero is thanks to Matt

Yes and no, the action scenes could be ok, I suppose that with the mask and an specialist would be better, he acting in just mehh, wannabe Bruce Lee sometimes and fail miserably, and the script is shit

No. He's still the same naive, impulsive piece of shit he was in IF. He still tries to stubbornly go-it-alone every chance he gets, he still falls for every obvious trap, and he still let's the bad guys manipulate him like an impressionable child.

The only difference is that at least in Defenders other people call him out on his shit.

He's still white, so no.

>"Danny, maybe you should lay low for a bit if The Hand needs you to complete their plan."
>"NO! FUCK YOU GUYS! THEY'RE JUST USING YOU, ONLY I CAN DEFEAT THE HAND!"
Fuck Danny

He completely disregarded everything Colleen had to say. It's no wonder she fucks off on her own plan in the end, since Danny's been dismissive of her every input. They even have Colleen flip her opinion on the Defenders just so Danny can disagree and want to work with them.

If you're going to be banging the sword chick who lived under the Hand for years, maybe don't disregard her every word of advice.

Especially to fucking Stick, the guy who's been fighting the Hand longer than Danny's even been around.

They really should cancel Season 2 of Iron Fist at this point, the character is a total dumpster fire. What a fucking travesty of an adaptation.

You know what I wanted? Kung Fu Hustle. Not some dirty hippie manchild who tanks a multi million dollar company

I bet most people at home where rooting for stick

You know for a "living weapon", Danny sure gets his ass handed to him alot. Even Daredevil was able to rock his jaw a bit.

His only redeeming feature was that he was the only one that actually wanted to do something about the bad guys and didn't need cajoling into it.

Did anyone think he was very quiet during Defenders? Like, all the other characters are shouting, but Jones was doing some sort of... muffled speech, I don't know how to explain it. It was very annoying.

Cancel Luke Cage S2 as well, while you'rer at it. S1 was boring as all hell.
Make "Luke Cage and Iron Fist" instead.

The fact that we might have to do another round of these shows before getting a Heroes for Hire series is a fucking travesty. Iron Fist just lost half his plotline, for fucks sake. You're not going to be able to stretch Davos and Joy Meachum for 13 episodes, guys.

Merging the two shows would probably do a whole lot more for their characters too. Cage and Danny are pretty meh characters on their own, but they seem to have chemistry when they're together.

You mean "Heroes for Hire". And for fuck sake, somebody hire a fight choreographer

Gao is alive bro, get ready for Hand Job 2: Stroke harder.

Iron Fist was a character I liked. This thread has convinced me to stay away from the adaptation.

everything is just fine!

He actually felt like Danny for a few scenes like 10% of the time, he was still whiny and annoying the other 90%

Heroes for Hire doesn't make sense when Danny is a multi millionaire with his company.

I think that is why they did the retarded Joy character flip at the end of the season. She is gonig to blame all of their family problem's on danny's family and get a mccoy's versus hatfields thing going on which will force ward to side with his sister and get danny stripped from the company again and probably take his money too.

The entire next season will be about weakening danny.

Right? Why the fuck didn't they make him asian

Oh boy, just what I wanted in my kung fu series that was already painfully lacking in kung fu... MORE CORPORATE DRAMA!

>tfw you'll never seen a Martial Arts movie as based as Ip Man ever again

He was enjoyable in the chinese restaurant scene because he seemed more upbeat and positive.

if they do that early it can be a nice jumping off point for a new status quo
>danny you can't be filling daredevil's shoes and control this company, it's bad for business
>we're forcing you out for good/maybe danny decides crime fighting is more important
>starts to wear a suit because muh matt
They could even have him say "danny rand is dead, I am only the Iron Fist" or some shit to appease people.

His fights were better, which was a plus. I've always liked MCU Danny. He's a simple hero trained to fight a simple conflict who stumbles into a more complicated world with no one but himself to blame.

Fuck me, I need to watch Kung Fu Hustle again.

How long until he gets a mask so someone else can do the fight scenes?

no

Not gonna lie, that'd have been the greatest Danny Rand moment, at least die to a better character

I'm kinda unsure as to whether Danny is supposed to be a hugely incompetent dipshit, or whether they just did a poor jb of writing him.

Finn Jones is INSANELY bad at acting though. Everything he says sounds so overly serious to the point of parody. It might just be because he needs to put on an American accent while delivering "serious" dialog.

With two main actors having zero chemistry? Nah, thanks.

How do we fix the Netflix MCU Sup Forums?

>make iron fist wear a mask so that they can use a stunt double
>Use all the budget to make half of the next season of Iron Fist a flashback to his training in Kun Lun, or a modern day return there.
>Make Luke and Jessica have a joined show rather than two separate ones
>Get rid of Elektra
>Either kill Danny off or completely retcon his character to make him less of a faggot.

I suppose that's alright, but so much has already been squandered, including how the beginning of his journey is supposed to be him accepting only the identity of the Iron Fist, until he finally takes off the mask and lets himself become Danny Rand. It's so unique and cool that of course they didn't do it, because it turns the formula they established for themselves on its head. I admit, I still haven't been able to force myself to watch past the first or maybe second episode of Iron Fist. The whole "I'm Danny Rand" "Hurr, no you're not, stranger who looks like Danny would, is the same age he would be, and knows things only Danny would know" was going on for way too long, with far too little actual fucking Iron Fist action.

How the fuck is an Asian kid supposed to have rich white New Yorker parents?

Charlie is putting on an accent too though, and he sells the gritty Daredevil stuff.

Iron Fist trying out Street Vigilantism is Season 2 make me wanna watch it. Plus Danny admitting he's a dumbass leaves room for character growth.

Dunno if Marvel cares, but Finn Jones probably really took criticisms to heart.

>Iron Fist featured a lot of very good fight scenes but the vast majority seemed to agree that they could and should have been so much better. The mixed quality of those was blamed on the fact Finn Jones was given just weeks to prepare but there was a notable improvement in The Defenders which the actor has now revealed that he hopes will continue as we head into season two of the Marvel series.

>"Now, just gonna let you know, moving into Season 2 of Iron Fist, I’m actually starting my training next week," the actor confirmed in a recent interview. "We’re at least four or five months away from shooting, so this time around, I’m being given a lot more preparation leading up to Season 2, which I think is really gonna have a huge improvement on the quality of the fight scenes in Iron Fist."

>Luke calls him out for being a privileged white male beating up dindus on the street
>goes ahead and does it anyway

BASED

Not until he get's a costume and is replaced by a stuntman for all action scenes.

He's also still a little bitch who can't control himself even though he keeps dropping fortune cookie lines like he's supposed to be a zen monk.

That's only shit he knows, doesn't mean he believes it by heart.

I liked him in Iron Fist but I thought he was better in Defenders.

He's not done anything else except a few episodes of a Doctor Who spin-off, a couple of scenes in Game of Thrones and Iron Fist. I had no idea why they thought he'd be good enough. He must have sucked somebody off in the audition.
