During the end of newspaper comics back when newspapers started to cut back on everything including the funny pages, it was being called the future and a possible savior of news comics. It had an anime/manga feel and it was thought that it might get kids and teens back into reading comics. It was eventually cancelled a couple of years later and it when out swinging taking shots at syndicates and celebrities. It was fun.
